[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Holy cow!!!! Amazing cleaning results!! We had a Bissell, previously, (10+ years), that we replaced. This machine has more setting/cleaning mode options, and is lighter in weight. The clean water is removable, for filling; the older model had a flexible bladder. There are two reasons for the 4 stars rating, in lieu of 5. The first, is that as I used it to clean our majority of our condo, (as opposed to a single room), the dirty water tank became more and more soapy. Going back on the cleaned area, 3-4 times, instead of just 2, did not solve the problem. On subsequent fillings of clean water, I used slightly less formula, which helped alleviate the soapiness, with no obvious decrease in the efficacy of the cleaning. Second, I used the upholstery attachment to clean my sofa and 2 side chairs. In doing so, however, I found the "head" of the tool to be a bit large to negotiate the curves of my chairs. When I turned the head sideways to reach the curved places, additional formula dripped out of the tool, as gravity dictates. Not a problem that couldn't be resolved by making additional 'dry' passes, just more time consuming.

But to me the real bonus was how easy it is to clean and the rinse tray. The suction was amazing and took no time for my carpet to dry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembly/set up was easy. I was able to clean a large area rug and hallway rug on the lowest setting before having to refill the unit. It did a very nice job and both rugs dried quickly. I will definitely get a lot of use from this cleaner

Product arrived on time and was easy to assemble. Works great and is easy to use and clean after use. Does a great job, works as well or better than the rug doctors you rent at the big box stores. Works great for quick clean up after pet accidents or spills. Very pleased with the purchased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very happy with this purchase. When the cleaner first arrived I used it within the first few days and cleaned all of my carpet. I was very surprised as to how clean the carpet got with just one pass. It is very easy to use and for the most part is not strenuous. It's just like vacuuming. If I were to make any changes to the machine I would do the following: I would have a heating element in the machine to keep the water at the desired temperature while being used. When using the hand attachment, I would also disable the brush/vacuum on the main unit when the hand attachment is plugged in. Lastly, I would make the electrical cord a little longer by about 5 feet. In all, I would purchase this machine again.

I think that it's ease of use will make it more likely to be used on a regular basis. We got a dog recently & will need to clean carpets more often. I thought this machine was worth the extra we paid for it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first we had to figure out the settings for deep cleaning and/or normal cleaning.After that we were very happy with the way this machine picked up the soiled water.It is a lot better than any other shampoo equipment we ever had.I give it a 10.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing carpet cleaner. I was amazed by how easy it is to use, and how well it worked on the carpets! I recently bought a puppy, which quickly made me realize that I needed a good quality carpet cleaner. Even with all the researching I did to get the urine stains out of the carpet, scrubbing by hand, there were still stains left on the carpet. There were spots on the carpet that I couldn't get off for 2 weeks. This Bissell erased all of the stains in the one use. I was so happy with my purchase! The reason I'm giving a 3 star review is because the roller belt broke during its 3rd use. I was incredibly disappointed. This was a large purchase for me, and now I'm having to use the warranty after owning it for only a few weeks. I hope the warrant works fast, and that this isn't a recurring problem in the future. #sweepstakes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great! Way better than the newer carpet cleaner my folks have. It has no problem getting up old stains. Only downfall is the empty tank is huge, but can only be filled up 1/4 of the way before it shuts off with no other warning (no light or noise). Seems like someone forgot to realize that a user needs to know when to empty the tank
