I had a bissell carpet cleaner before that did a good job. When I needed to replace it, I bought a new bissell because they do work very well. Didn't want to change brands when I know I can rely on Bissell.

It is very different than my previous proheat which recently 'died' granted it was over 15 years old. I'm hoping this one will make it that long. I've had a long history with Bissell products and so far been happy

With 2 boys in the house, you can imagine what my light beige carpet looked like. Wow!! The carpet is 19 years old and this cleaner got all the stains and dirt out. The carpet looks like new. Also, I'm allergic to dust, and I feel so much better now. I am thrilled with my purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a repeat Bissell customer, and an OCD carpet shampooer. I used my older and less expensive bissell shampooer approximately every 1-2 weeks and decided to upgrade to something to keep up with our large family (4 kids, 3 animals)... which lead to this purchase. I'm amazed at the difference in only a few swipes on our carpet in the "max" mode! A visible difference.. just like the commercials! I was so thrilled with my new purchase (I felt like a kid at Christmas) that I offered to clean a family member's carpets...for fun. Even with no pretreatment, you can see that the difference is incredible! My only complaints are that the basins for clean and dirty water need to be refilled and emptied very often in max mode, there is no bar to help carry the shampooer up and down steps like my other Bissell shampooer, and I wish the handheld upholstery attachment had as great of suction and cleaning abilities as the main carpet part. This makes it hard to get the carpet edges (by baseboards) to match the rest of the carpets. I still am pleased though and recommend this model to everyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My carpets are only 5 years old and looked much worse for the wear...I was torn between buying the ProHeat 2X and the top of the line professional Big Green cleaner.... I settled on the ProHeat 2X... All I can say is WOW!!!!!! It does such an amazing job. My carpets look brand new. I can't even imagine what the Big Green would do... If you have pets it's a must have... It's not cheap but worth every penny. Plus, it's still cheaper than getting your carpets professionally cleaned 1 time... So over time, it really does pay for itself. Thank You Bissell, you have resurrected my carpets!

Proheat 2X Revolution is an excellent product that does all it advertises. I especially like that it is light weight, easy to clean afterwards and is able to really remove deep bedded German Shepherd fur from a carpet that was just vacuumed. Just as wonderful is the very friendly and supportive telephone assistance should anyone have questions. This Bissell machine is a vast improvement from the Pro Heat Tech carpet shampooer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Bissel pet pro. It handles even the pet stains I couldn't get to until they've set into the carpet. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't suck its moisture all the way up in the end and winds up dripping a fair amount back onto the carpet after I've turned off the machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembly/set up was easy. I was able to clean a large area rug and hallway rug on the lowest setting before having to refill the unit. It did a very nice job and both rugs dried quickly. I will definitely get a lot of use from this cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Clean up pet messes with this. It is big improvement over former Bissell Lift off cleaner because it is much lighter. It is also much easier to clean up after using. I don't like the Express clean, because it doesn't seem to put out much cleaner or pick it up.
