Definitely would purchase this again. Whether you have pets or not, if you're in the market for a steam cleaner Bissell's ProHeat Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner is the way to go.

Would have changed my old carpet cleaner year ago!! I have been searching for ever and watching so many comparatives and reviews..I'm a big skeptical when buying new stuff but don't hesitate on this wonderful carpet cleaner if you have pets. This will make such a difference on the time spending cleaning carpets. Stains that we tried to remove with many product went away on the first deep clean!! Everyone with dog/cat should have one of those!!

ProHeat 2X® Revolution® Pet Pro Plus Carpet Cleaner does a great job maintaining carpet and easy to use and clean ,,, even fer an ol' fart!!! [Also have a smaller version I use for kitchen mats and hallway runners.] Bissel gets it done!

Loved this machine for two reasons: So much lighter in weight than our Hoover and clean up afterwards was much, much easier as, unlike the Hoover, each piece comes apart. The sample products it came with seemed to clean and deodorize our wool area rugs well (our three dogs give them quite a work out!) and I will be ordering more. The only disappointment was that the cleaning effort seemed to have no real effect on our well-used upholstered chairs and sofas. Not sure if we were doing something wrong or not. Will try again another day. All in all, we are happy with this purchase...and, happy to cart our Hoover off to the dump. May it rest in peace!

It's been a lifesaver, since my home is all carpet. I use it with the antibacterial formula to clean her messes. I like that it dries quickly. It also works great on food stains. My puppy toppled over an entire burrito on my floor and couch - tough bright red stains. I used the carpet cleaner and upholstery attachment and it all came out. #sweepstakes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The operation instructions were a bit slim but I figured it out. So far, I've used it on carpet and am pleased with the results. Since I was a new operator, I did go over the carpet a second time with only water (not the soap) to make sure the solution had been extracted. I was glad I did.

Easier to move around instead of the big box store rentals and cleans better than them as well. One feature that is really nice is the different cleaning modes it has from deep clean to express. Another advantage to owning vs renting is you can take your time and do the job right instead of keeping an eye on the clock.

The stain disappeared momentarily, but reappeared in a couple of days, which is why I gave it 3 stars (it deserves 3 1/2 stars, but the system doesn't allow for it). Otherwise, it cleans pretty well, has good suction, and did a decent job cleaning food stains off of upholstered dining chairs.

It was easy to clean after use and I was truly impressed with the results. I just wished I hadn't waited so long to purchase it! Quality product. in.

It's heavy because the water container is located on the handle part. It doesn't hold a lot of water, so I'm constantly refilling and dumping. It cleans well, but I've used the pro heat upright cleaner and it works just as well for less money. Bissell is a better carpet cleaner than Hoover though!
