Very easy to use. I was very impressed with its cleaning ability and how well my carpets dried. I have off-white carpets (not by choice) and a very large GSD who decides any time he may vomit to unfortunately go on the carpet.... not any other room with hardwood or tile, naturally. This really changed my mind from replacing the carpet. They look and feel so nice.

We are using the cleaner on area rugs. Fabulous job so far. Had to run it over the aged-stains (dog vomit and coffee) a couple times, impressive result! Slow and patience. I found it dried faster doing an extra extraction round. Appreciated the quick change of waste water and detergent water. It's a simple unit to use but does take some effort moving it around the rug, so I skipped bootcamp that night. Haven't used the attachments yet, stay tuned! Afterwards, easy to clean, set the parts on a drying rack over night. The unit doesn't take up a lot of space. Very happy with the purchase and now I have my own, no need to worry about renting a unit. Only negative, unfortunately it did not come with a standard product sample to try it out. Due to COVID lockdown, we had to wait a couple days to get some cleaner to try it out. Purchased Deep Clean with OXY, worked great but wow strong scent. That scared me away from any Febreze types. The rug finally aired out after a few days. We also read somewhere, another owner did a rinse on their carpet after and the scent dissipated faster than previous time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in the middle of using the machine for the first time not even 10 mins in the brushes stopped spinning and I smelled some rubber burning. I immediately turned it off. I was using the hose part. I gave it a min and turned it back on and it wouldnt spray out water. We went to bissell site and looked at every instruction video and checked to see what was wrong before making a decision. Everything seemed fine and in place. I'm returning it now. Very upset I got my hopes up for this machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace the Little Green Pet Pro. I needed an upright cleaner. I'm no Spring chicken so an upright is the way to go for me. Unfortunately it was too big so I sent it back for a different upright machine from Bissell. I'm sure that one, which has almost a five star rating will be the winner!!! They are all winners, really, it just depends on your needs and physical capability.

On my first attempt at cleaning a dirty x 2 years carpet with stains, this machine took them all (including a nasty cat diarrhea stain!) out.....the only problem I have is that the product for deodorizing the rug did not last.....it was pleasant at first, but then the smell of cat urine returned. I believe it must be the padding, but thought the product would be strong enough to neutralize it better. Overall, I am very pleased with this machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was going to purchase the big green, but purchased this for the smaller footprint and included accessories. Either our puppy has unusual urine, or this machine doesn't work well for pet odor. Several passes with the OXY urine formula, the antibacterial formula, and the 3x formula and the smell remains. I ended up dosing the area in vinegar. I'm thinking maybe the Bissell formula just isn't any good? I haven't tried a different brand in this machine yet. The machine also doesn't seem to have strong suction as the floor remains humid for a long time afterwards. I do several slow passes of pure suction and it still takes a very long time to dry. Using the recommended formula cap lines results in a somewhat sticky feeling carpet. I usually do a final pass of just water. The other thing I don't like is that the clean water tank holds a gallon of water, yet the pick up tank only holds 1.2L. I know it holds this exact amount because the cleaning tray uses a measurement of 600ml and two cleanings results in a full dirty water tank. This means you will need to empty the dirty water at least 3 times because 1 gallon = 3.785L. I definitely wouldn't recommend this machine for anyone looking to use it for pet urine.

Tried other cleaners and nothing worked, stains were still there. Used my new Bissell cleaners and products only once and no scrubbing with my hands, the stains were gone. EVEN AFTER A YEAR!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this for the cleaning of my carpets. I also have the small Bissel for spot cleaning when we got our dog. It did a great job and I thought I could get this cleaner for the whole carpet cleaning. It does a wonderful job.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd Bissel carpet cleaner the others were the little green machines. I loved them, so I thought the upright version would do a better job, I Just set it up and while the vacuum motor works it would not spray the solution. I followed all instructions, and I cannot even access the line from the trigger to the spray nozzle. I'd return it, but I discarded the box and packing paraphernalia. Don't bother purchasing this product wait until they figure out the kinks.

I needed the ability to clean my carpets at a moments notice. I should have bought this YEARS ago! For the cost of one professional service, I can now clean my carpets as often as I want, and the results were really quite impressive! The good: carpets look great. I pretreated pet stains (including blood) and they all came out! I really like that the water stays heated/hot for improved cleaning and faster drying. I love having all the attachments. The machine was much easier to use than it appears at first read of the manual. The negatives: the tanks are a bit small, but totally doable for my home. The main roller bar continues to turn when furniture attachments are used which could be an issue for some, but I have tile under my couch and chairs, so no problems. The carpet was a bit 'crunchy' after it dried but honestly can't blame the machine... I had spot cleaned so many areas before buying this that I know there was plenty of cleaner residue in the carpets already. Next time I'll go over it again with clean water to pull out any remaining residue. Overall, I was very pleasantly surprised! If you've got pets and/or grandkids like me, this is a definite YES
