This printer is great. It has fast printing, duplex printing with no hassle, and a good price point. Also, it works great with my wireless devices. Additionally, I am enjoying the automatic ink subscription service, which means no rushing at and trying to find the best price for ink or wasting gas and time picking it up. That being said, the paper tray is very flimsy and there is no easy way to set the paper size to the most-used default of US Letter length. If any size should have a snap in indentation for the paper guides to default to, one would think those would be US Letter, Legal, and #10 Envelope, in that order. But the paper tray has a poorly designed push up guide that just floats around and allows for no firm paper positioning for US letter paper (nor any other sizes). It is a cheap and very detracting item in an otherwise great office / home printer. Fix that, and you will have an easy 5-star product.

It took me a lot of time to finally get both computers set up to print from this printer. The driver wouldn't install. I restarted my computer mulitple times, tried on different days. I don't know what I finally did but it finally worked. Then afte it started working a pop up saying that a different printer driver wasn't working and needed fixed. If I closed it, it would just come back after a few minutes. This caused me to sign up for something I thought was Norton, it's not. I am working to get it fixed before I am charged, but super frustrating that this happened all becuase I installed your product.

I have always had hp printers and purchased my on ink but with this new printer I tried 3 different ink that was for my printer model and they would not work. Error no hp chip, you are making me purchase more expensive ink because it is the only one that works in this printer. This will be my last hp printer , because I feel you are monopolizing on the ink 🥲🥲

Touchpad on printer is slow reacting. Software is cumbersome and could be much better. There is no automatic warning that an ink cartridge is low. It just stops printing. Now for the really good part - It is relatively quiet. The print quality is very good. It looks good. Unfortunately, I didn't read the specs well enough, because I found out that I cannot easily copy or scan two-sided documents.

There is only one paper tray. My old hp printer had two. And it doesn't extend automatically when printing. The paper tray feels very flimsy. Sometimes the first time I try to print the icon just spins and requires a second request before it works. The attached touch screen is not user friendly. Very difficult to tap it properly to get a response. When changing a new router password, the characters are too small and am constantly to correct. Also very slow to respond

I was unable to successfully connect my printer or scanner to my PC. I enlisted the help of my part time employer's outsourced IT dept, and required two sessions, the second with a higher level tech. That was finally successful after a 45 minute, excruciating telephone call. SET UP NEEDS TO BE MUCH EASIER. I am fairly certain this is the last HP product I will ever buy.

I really like the quality of the printing. It's more cumbersome to change ink cartridges on this compared to my 9015e but that's an infrequent occurrence. The case looks like it's right out of the 1970s (not a compliment) but the "look" doesn't help it print pages so I can live with it.

Mine is actually a 8120. The touch screen control panel is too small - buttons don't work very well and screen pad won't stay in position. I'm having an issue printing PDF's - sometimes it prints fine, other times the page prints full of thick black lines.

When the paper tray is full, I keep getting the out of paper message so it will not print. The control panel is very difficult to read because it is on the side of the printer. It should be on the top. The chute that holds the printed pages needs to be bigger so that the printed pages stay in the tray.

I am not a technical person - at 86 years of age I found it extremely difficult to install this printer. Would not connect to internet. Would not scan. I didn't even try to set up fax and other features. It took me two days to get it to print. It does print fast and beautiful colors.
