- 5 out of 5 stars review6/12/2023I love this ice maker. It keeps us in ice constantly. It is easy to refill with water when needed, and easy to empty the ice out. It is pretty quiet and it has a solid feel to it. The plastic water container and the ice container are made out of sturdy material.

So anytime I open the drawer to get some, it immediately starts making more. It also needs descaling much more often than they tell you. I’m having to descale every 3-5 days. While it’s not hard to do, it’s definitely annoying. I’m not sure I would buy this again.

There has been a couple times it made few weird noises but it went away and the machine works great. We leave it on all day very day.

The auxiliary tank is very useful & reduces time of adding water to the maker. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was due the noise of the unit when making ice. Every time you remove a scoop of ice the maker automatically come on and I feel is a little noisy.

The set up was so simple, although I was heartbroken to disinfect it before I had my first taste of my fancy ice! Be responsible, sanitize your machine first. The first ice really does pop out in 20 minutes, but it’s just a few pieces- give this bad boy an hour and you’ve got a full glass- a few hours and you’re good for a party! We hooked our machine up to the app, which was also super easy, and I set up a schedule for it to run. Now the machine turns on for me at 6 am and I’m ready for my first glass for frosty, crisp, ice water at 7:00. I run it until about 7 at night and then just take whatever is leftover in the bin and throw it in a plastic bag in the freezer to save for a rainy day, or another party. The p...

The main cons are the price, and how cleaning requires me to move the machine around to access the drain hoses. That said I used to barely use ice in my drinks and I bought this for a crushed ice replacement in cocktails. Now I use ice in nearly every cold drink I have at home. There are now other nugget ice makers out there for less expense, but this one is really much better build quality.

For a family of 3, this seemed like the best solution. So far, so good! This makes that great soft ice like you get at Sonic so that's a bonus. The only knock is the machine is a tad noisy. Not a big deal when there's allot going on in the house, but when we're relaxing on the couch, it's a bit loud. Love the compact size too! Doesn't eat up allot of counter space.

It is the best nugget ice I have ever had!!!! It's better than the fountain drinks in the store. The ice maker was easy to set up and easy to clean. I'm a 71 yr old lady and I did it with no help. I have 3 glasses a day, and I will be having more in the summer. It was sooooo worth it!!!!! I have wanted one for years. I love it❤️

It makes 24lbs of ice a day (1lb per hour), but only holds 3lbs of ice which is WAY too small. It needs a hopper to hold the 24lbs. If you did that and kept the price point where it is, you would kill the competition with volume. Still within my window of returning and have not decided yet.

The opening sits in the reservoir so every time you need to refill the water you have to handle the part that will be submerged in the reservoir (not very sanitary). There also is no light or any indication of the water level (sure you can seethe level in the clear plastic but it would be great to get some indication the water level is low. Finally would be great if there was a way you could tap right off a water line and not worry about refilling the reservoir. Great ice maker but could be better.

This machine works great, but it is louder and larger than i anticipated. The ice it makes are small pellets which is great for soda, but not as good for adult beverages. Needs to be set up near a sink because when you unplug the hose to clean it, the water starts gushing out. Yet, it is a good machine and I'm still glad I bought it.
