Customer reviews for LG 65" Class OLED evo C6 Series 4K Smart TV forFantastic TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Posting after 6 days of use of the 77 inch version. So far, the TV has turned out to be spectacular. Blacks are deep pitch black as expected of an OLED. There are several settings for Picture and Sound. Of these the Cinema and/or Filmmaker mode gave use the best out-of-the box effect and we liked them. Colors look great and real in these modes (not over saturated neither dull). Hooking up a soundbar does help. It allows to play the sound through both the TV and the Soundbar simultaneously which gives a nice effect. We find it amazing how well it reproduces low quality content on such a large screen. We also like the remote which has a cursor mode by just pressing the settings/wheel button on it! It also appears (but I am not sure) that LG automatically runs a pixel refresh after every 4 hours of usage which is nice to prevent OLED issues such as burn-ins. What can be improved? Setting things like "audio delay" when using a sound bar with the TV. This was not intuitive and took a while to dig out. Another major issue is the inability to see how much disk space/memory does the TV have or how much space has all the apps/updates etc taken up, how to clean/delete memory (not just remove apps). Less memory can lead to lags and it is useful for me as a user to know how much space I have before I install apps. It would have also helped if the "OLED care" section in the settings were to let us know what LG is automatically doing in the background. This would prevent users from unnecessarily doing (repeating) tasks that can actually end up damaging the TV long term. With that said, it is perhaps true that solutions for the above are already there in the TV that we missed (although I looked for these closely). Afterall we could only spend so much time with it in the 6 days. That said, we commend LG for producing a high quality product. We only hope it is a durable one and will continue giving us outstanding viewing (and auditory) pleasure and good eye relief for many years to come.
Hi, Barun. Thank you for sharing such a detailed and thoughtful review after your first 6 days of use of your LG TV. We’re thrilled to hear that the deep blacks, Cinema/Filmmaker modes, realistic colors, and simultaneous soundbar/TV audio playback have made your viewing experience spectacular. It’s great to know the remote’s cursor mode and the TV’s ability to reproduce low-quality content on a large screen have impressed you as well. We truly appreciate your constructive feedback regarding audio delay settings, memory visibility, and more transparency in the OLED care section. Insights like these help us understand how we can make the user experience even more intuitive and reassuring. Awesome OLED
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You won't be disappointed with this 77" LG C5 OLED this year. I spent alot of time researching the technology out there for tvs. I am primarily using this tv for streaming, gaming, and movies this tv excels on all phases. The refresh rate and connectivity are a must for gaming, and this tv does not disappoint. The display and resolution make you feel like your in the movie theater. Finally, the contrast sets itself above the competition.
Hello, Leroy. Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your LG TV! We love hearing that your 77" LG C5 OLED is hitting every mark — from cinematic streaming to smooth, responsive gaming. Your shout‑out to the refresh rate, connectivity, and standout contrast really shows how much this TV is elevating your setup. Amazing looking TV, flawed remote and WebOS
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: It's an amazing looking TV. This is my 3rd LG OLED and they never let me down when it comes to picture quality. It's just stunning. The 83 inch was a lot lighter than I thought it would be, so that was a plus when mounting it to the wall. Cons: The remote is 2/5. They are going with a minimalist approach, pushing AI and ThinQ for your interactions with the TV. Please LG, if your going to go minimalist on the remote, include a play and pause button. The wheel button has been problematic to start and stop play in some streaming applications (Paramount+ comes to mind). I don't need dedicated streaming service buttons. What I really miss is a play, pause, and mute button. The holding down the volume to mute is just annoying and not intuitive. The bloatware and advertisements on the WebOS has been getting more and more invasive. LG does a decent job of letting you disable a lot of the advertisements, but I wish I could remove the apps that come preinstalled. The AI features are not impressive so far. I haven't found any of it useful, yet. Conclusion: Overall, I love the TV even with the regression in the new remote design and WebOS drawbacks.
Hi, Jaybles. Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your LG TV. We really appreciate the balanced breakdown — it’s awesome to hear that your third LG OLED is still delivering that stunning picture quality you’ve come to expect, and that the lighter 83" made wall‑mounting a breeze. We also hear you on the remote design, WebOS experience, and AI features; feedback like yours is incredibly valuable as we continue refining the user experience. Awesome TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great to look at before it is even turned on - extremely sleek look with ultra slim screen. But once it is turned on the picture is unbelievable - crisp, bright with vivid colors that makes watching anything a joy; sporting events feel like you are there. I already had a 65” LG OLED C9 that performed beautifully but the 83” C5 is even better.

Excels all expectation!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picture Quality is good. I came from C1 and can definitely see a huge improvement with the C5. Also love the new remote that they got. AI Upscaling also works surprisingly well, bringing older content to life on this big TV.
Hi, Kevin. Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your LG TV! It’s great to hear how much of a leap the C5 feels coming from the C1—those picture upgrades, the refreshed remote, and the AI Upscaling really do bring everything together in a big way. Enjoy the elevated viewing experience on your new screen. For more feedback or questions, please send us an email at lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com. Thanks for choosing LG! #LifesGood ^James
Not worth the money
Not worth the money for sure. Nothing is intuitive or plug and play. Doing anything in the settings is difficult and finding simple, basic features (like inputs?) is much more complicated than it should be. My last tv, you plug the PC/laptop into the HDMI and you get video. Not at all on this overpriced thing. The picture is fine, sound is okay but I use a sound bar so no a factor. I cannot stand the voice remote or "SMART" TV garbage. Useless to me, I will never talk to any electronics, but there are no decent options that aren't "SMART". This one had the best reviews, I don't get it though, especially not for the price. It takes a ton of research to figure out basic settings. There's no manual, not even online that I have found, so you have to search random posts. Terrible

A Well-Chosen TV with Excellent Performance
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the OLED77C5PUA, the first thing that stands out is the vivid and lifelike picture quality. Thanks to OLED technology, blacks are deep and colors are rich and accurate, which makes movies, dramas, and games extremely immersive. The TV supports a 144Hz refresh rate, and it really shows when gaming. Gameplay feels incredibly smooth with no noticeable stuttering or screen tearing, even during fast-paced scenes. It performs excellently for both console and PC gaming. The built-in speakers deliver surprisingly solid sound quality. While an external sound system would enhance the experience further, the internal audio is more than sufficient for everyday viewing, with clear dialogue and balanced sound. In terms of design, this TV is very impressive. The ultra-thin panel and extremely slim bezel make the screen feel almost borderless, allowing for greater immersion. The overall look is modern and premium, fitting well into any contemporary living space. Despite being a large 77-inch TV, it is lighter than expected, light enough for one adult male to handle during installation with care. This makes setup much easier compared to other TVs of similar size. Another convenient feature is Bluetooth headphone support, which is perfect for watching TV alone at night. You can enjoy content without disturbing others while still getting an immersive audio experience. Overall, the OLED77C5PUA delivers excellent performance in picture quality, refresh rate, design, and usability. It is a highly satisfying premium OLED TV and is especially recommended for users who enjoy both movies and gaming.

The 144Hz refresh rate truly shines for fast‑paced gameplay, and it’s great to know you’re experiencing that smooth performance on both console and PC. Your notes on the built‑in speakers, the ultra‑thin design, and the lightweight build highlight exactly what makes this model so versatile. Absolutely beautiful TV.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got my LG C5 83" OLED—stunning! Colors pop with vibrant, lifelike accuracy that makes movies magical. Packed with cutting-edge features like seamless webOS and gaming perks. CPU feels lightning-fast so far, menus zip along smoothly. Haven't tested AI deep yet, but early vibes are promising. Sharp 4K upscaling, deep blacks, and immersive sound. Super happy—worth every penny! One caveat. I did purchase this TV during an LG promotion stating that if you left a review then you will receive a gift card back. However, I am now reading that many people are not being rewarded as they've ran out of redemption quantity. This would definitely be a changing factor and I am sure I wouldn't be the only disgruntled character since this was a big deciding factor on my purchase. A $300 "rebate" for a C5 and even a "$500" rebate for a G5 is a significant amount.
Hi, Andy. Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your LG TV. We love the passion in your review — the C5 83" really knows how to put on a show, from those lifelike colors to the smooth webOS experience and lightning‑fast performance. It’s awesome to hear it’s already transforming your movie and gaming setup. We also appreciate you calling out the promotion concern — your feedback is important, and we understand how frustrating that situation can feel. The sound is not bad either major improvement over regular tvs. And the inky blacks really make the oled great.vivid colors.

Superb picture quality!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture quality is fantastic with rich deep blacks and the capacity to handle a broad range of contrast ratios. There are quite a few picture and sound settings to choose from. I like that the remote can turn into a pointer! Looking forward to learning more about it.
