Waitied awhile tor my OLED but couldn't be happier. Just a phenominal picture. Does just fine in my bright room during the day. The inky blacks are the ebst I've seen on a TV I own. Can't wait to rewatch some moves. Also upgrading screen size from my old 65 to this 77. So worth it. The adeage is true. Purchase the largest you can possibly afford. Worth the wait. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG OLED C5 surpassed my expectations in brightness, quality, and responsiveness - I was shopping around for a long time, and decided on the C5 because it was one of the best OLED TVs available in a not-break-the-bank price range. It took a while to get used to the remote control, but once I did, it was a breeze. I though the 77" inch TV was perfect for our family room, which was fairly large and so this TV was a well-needed upgrade. The sound quality was fine, but I had our family room wired with speakers, so connecting it to an external amplifier was a breeze - otherwise, I would have used an LG soundbar as well.

On my old TV, the Upside Down was just a muddy grey blur, but this screen brought it to life with perfect, inky blacks and terrifying detail. Out of the box it can look dim because “Energy Saving Auto” is enabled — turn that off and the panel becomes much brighter. Movies in HDR and Dolby Vision look amazing, and gaming at 4K 120Hz/144Hz is smooth with almost zero input lag. Not the brightest TV for very sunny rooms, but overall one of the best OLEDs for both movies and gaming.

I expected improvements, but the difference is far greater than I imagined. The brightness alone is a huge upgrade — HDR content looks dramatically more vibrant, with specular highlights that genuinely pop in a way the C1 couldn’t achieve. Colors are richer and more accurate, and the contrast feels even deeper, giving movies and shows a more cinematic look. Input lag is virtually nonexistent, and the boosts in brightness and uniformity make both dark and bright game environments feel more immersive. Everything just looks cleaner and more controlled compared to the C1. The webOS interface is faster and feels more polished, and the overall user experience is simply more responsive. Even the build quality feels slightly more refined, with that premium OLED look that LG is known for. I was really happy with it an unsure how it could get better. However this year 77;l c5 blew my mind for the discounted price and quality. It took me awhile to get used to it since it was so bright and big, but after less than a day i put it in my bedroom to serve as a cinema. And everyday since then I haven’t had t go to the theatre, it like i have a cinema experience in my bedroom.
