The C5 is the upgrade I have been looking for. The picture quality is exactly what you buy an OLED for — deep blacks, insane contrast, and colors that actually look natural instead of blown out. Brightness has noticeably improved compared to older models, especially in HDR, so it handles daylight rooms better than past OLEDs I’ve owned. The motion handling is smooth, gaming performance is top-tier (low input lag, full HDMI 2.1 support), and the OS is fast without the annoying lag you get from some other brands. Build quality is premium, setup was simple, and so far I’ve had zero issues — same as all my previous LG OLEDs. They’ve always been reliable for me, and this TV keeps that trend going. UI is easy to use and fast. It integrated really easily with my Sonos soundbar so I can use my streaming box remote to control the volume. I’m prone to buyer’s remorse, but not with this TV. I’m blown away by how good it looks.

I finally decided to upgrade to the 77" C5 after seeing all the positive reviews—and I was stunned the moment I turned it on. The larger 77" size is incredibly immersive, especially for movies and sports, but it still feels sharp and detailed, not stretched. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really happy with the 77" C5, it is in a room with large windows on an adjacent wall and I haven't had any issues with the picture during the day, I often forget to turn on the "bright room" feature. I also really like the gaming hub overly, have always used consoles and have never been able to see FPS while playing, lots of neat features hiding in there I wasn't expecting and didn't see when researching.

We went OLED bc we our family room is in a north facing room and gets hit with a ton of sunlight. The OLED helps reduce the glare drastically. Through the Black Friday deal, we also got a soundbar half off which helps improve the sound quality. I would recommend adding that to your purchase as it is needed. Overall very happy with our purchase and confident it will last us another decade. The 120 HZ helps future proof!
