[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cleaning cycle works well. Unfortunately it is quite loud, but you can turn it off whenever you need to. The nugget ice is really nice and works well for drinks. The machine is extremely large especially with the water tank add on and takes up a lot of counter space, but is a nice addition to the kitchen if you like nugget ice! So far we have not had any build up in the machine, and we have moderately hard water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this machine. I had been looking at it for months and months, until I decided to purchase it. I love the nuggets that it makes and the speed of it. I would recommend anyone who’s thinking about it get it. It’s worth it. I love it!!!

This is the 2nd Opal ice machine I have owned. The first one I didn’t have the best luck with. They ended up having to send me 4 units before I got one that worked over 2 months. And then the 4th one didn’t work more than 1.5 years. So hoping this one does better. We will see.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] super good ice maker, and it makes the perfect soft ice! it isn’t too loud and is just a quiet humming that is barely noticeable. the instructions are also super easy to follow and it is super easy to clean. it makes ice so fast too! and the ice lasts for so long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the GE Profile Opal Nugget Ice Maker for a few weeks now, and it’s been a total game-changer! The ice is perfectly crunchy, similar to what you get at fancy restaurants. It’s easy to use and refills fast thanks to the side tank. The build is sturdy and sleek, adding a touch of luxury to my kitchen. However, it’s a bit noisy during the ice-making process, and you need to stay on top of cleaning to keep it running smoothly. Overall, I’m thrilled with the ice quality and love how it elevates drinks and snacks at home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really good ice maker. Makes perfect little ice pebbles and pretty fast. Comes with an ice scooper. Has a light. Plugs in and you fill up the water chamber so no need to worry about attaching to a water supply. I was able to get 2-3 full ice buckets before refilling with water again. It does give off some heat in the back so be careful where you place it. Pretty quiet when making the ice. I haven’t cleaned it yet so unable to give my opinion on that but Overall I’m enjoying this ice marker and I’d definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This GE ice machine is a power house. And it's quiet. I love how quick it is, making ice in 15 minutes. The container fills up fast. I like that the cubes are crunchy and airy, so they're gentle to chew on. I recommend this ice machine to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You want restaurant quality ice at home? This GE Nugget Ice Maker is a dream! Makes lots of ice fast. It also recycles melted ice back into the bottom where it continues to make fresh ice. Only drawback is it larger than I expected. Otherwise it is an awesome kitchen machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Came packed very safe it's such a nice color Comes with the tank and takes about 10 minutes to make the nugget ice. this machin is very helpful. i always wanted an ice machine. I didn't have any weird scents. I'm in love with ice maker

I was so happy to get my FIRST! Machine. It worked a while and I loved it. When it stopped no one could fix it. So I ordered another one! I knew it was going to be okay. But it lasted less time than the first one. I tried everything they recommended and finally had to give up hope. It still sits in my kitchen. I have a lot of money invested in 2 machines. I finally found another brand that is working great! Sorry about bad news. I so wanted to have the Opal. So I am sorry to say it is a waste of money.
