Going out in the evenings usually means I am covered in big repellent or becoming a buffet for the mosquitos. I tried the Thermacell E55 in graphite and was able to enjoy my backyard patio without being bitten or needing extra bug repellent on my skin. There was no scent and no noise from the machine I only wish it came with two repellent pods instead of one stop that I could enjoy it longer before needing to run out for a refill.

My family and I used it when we had a picnic in the backyard and I am very satisfied with this product. We sat at the table and the kids were in the yard running around and no one had any mosquito bites. I think it's great for backyards or the poolside because if it dies, all I have to do is plug it up.

The unit worked ok but after the first season the battery started not holding a charge and now after using maybe 15 times it's garbage. I believe a product that costs this much should last longer than 2 seasons. Electronic and plastic waste from items like this are filling our landfills and killing our planet.

I was already skeptical when I read the rave reviews about this products "new" technology. Previously I'd been using the Off mosquito lanterns with the candle and the repellant tab (which worked like a charm!) but after combing through the reviews I thought I'd give the Thermacell a shot. I've used it the last two nights on my small patio in the city (where the mosquitos aren't terrible to begin with compared to living outside town, but annoying). For the hype, I expected the odd mosquito to none at all (which is what I got with the Off lanterns). But I was constantly pestered by bugs, so these are definitely not as good as advertised! I am extremely disappointed with this product.

This product worked great, while pulling weeds in my garden and flowerbed. It's been kinda cold, but with the first warm snap— the mosquitoes and small flying gnats were everywhere!!! This eliminated me having to use bug spray! I will keep them gem charged and ready to go!!! No more whelps for me.

After charging my thermacell like suggested I went to open the cartridge and the cap was very difficult to open. I pulled up on the cartridge lid harder and it came off. Also, in the process the wick was broken. Cannot use this product now as the wick broke smooth off.

I received the rechargeable Thermacell a week ago on a try and Review giveaway. It REALLY Works ! As a Florida resident that lives on the water near Mangroves keeping the mosquitoes and no-seeums at bay is a HUGE Issue But Using the Rechargable ThermaCELL is a game changer. So many Good things to say about this product Pros~ Super easy to Use Refill cartridges are quick to put into unit and NO MESSY Sprays. Long lasting too ! The convenience of it being rechargable is also a Great feature. The Only negative I have is the Unit that was sent to use and review ( thank you !) Is round and rolls around quite easily and a flatter unit ( which is an option 🎉)would take care of this problem.

I bought the thermacell without telling my husband because he wouldn't believe it works. Sure enough, the moment the package arrived he started with his negative comments. As the sun began to set I turned it on and for the first time we stayed outside until almost midnight without turning on candles, a fire, or spraying ourselves. Not one mosquito bite. Now we take it with us whenever we're invited to a cookout and people laugh at us until they start getting bitten and we're sitting comfortably next to our thermacell. For that reason I'm buying another one and ditching the tiki torches and candles. It works. It works great. It allows us to use our back yard without smelling like a fire pit or bug spray.

Bought this 2 weeks ago and have been pleased so far. Seems to work well. My one complaint is that the supposed 12-hour cartridge didn't seem to last nearly that long (maybe 6 hours of use?). Bought a second unit with a 12-hour cartridge and noted the cartridge was only about 1/2 full of liquid. Marked the level before using and after one hour the level had dropped substantially. Looks to be about 5 hours worth of repellant. Not sure if the cartridge I got just wasn't filled properly - I will keep track of how long it lasts. I'm also putting the cap back on between uses. Got a 40-hour refill so will keep track of that as well. As I said, the unit seems to work but the refills will get expensive if they only last have the time indicated.

I recently bought this device I'm impressed with how well it works however the cartridges are not full therefore usage time is short. The price for the refills are ridiculous you can buy a whole new system but still end up with same results usage time too short.
