we used this for a housewarming party outside in upstate New York and it got rid of all of the bugs and nobody was getting bit which was a win for us! It is so much easier and better than bug spray and nobody goes home feeling oily, greasy and smelling like bug spray.

This is our second Thermacell Mosquito Repellent item. We use it daily from hanging out on the patio, cooking out, watching sports, and letting the dogs in and out of the house. It is a great product and very easy to use. Charge it, turn it on, and forget it!

Not sure how good it is in the long run, cause I only used it once just earlier, now mind you I live in texas, we have so many mosquitoes, and they love mine and my girlfriends blood so much, it's not even funny, but I set it up outside about 20 minutes before we went outside, and than me her and my sister were just outside for about and hour and a half, and no one got bit, not even once, nothing flying around us and messing with us, it was amazing. But usually we always have HUGE mosquitoes, and alot to, but yeah, absolutely nothing today, no spray, no smell, no sting, no problem.

I used to stay inside for most of the summer to stay away from mosquitoes. They like me more than other friends. My skin does not tolerate the bites well. My summer life has changed with my Thermacell! I garden again and entertain on the patio regularly! This product works! The best results I’ve ever had!

I’m one of those people mosquitos gravitate to no matter who is around me. I used it in my patio for a dinner hang with friends that lasted at least 4 hours. During that time, I didn’t get bit once nor did I see any mosquitos with the Thermcell. I’m excited to use this for camping in the near future.

To be honest I was quite skeptical, I've used many, many different mosquito repellents and the mosquitoes kept biting me and I get really bad reactions from their bites. Someone I know uses these products and said they work well, so I ordered one and the first time I used it I was sitting outside on my patio, I watched the mosquitoes come towards me, then all of a sudden turn around and fly away. I watched this happen over and over and not one reached me. Finally, I can actually go outside and use my firepit!

We use the E55 on our patio and while doing outside chores, and it works great. The insect detractor liquid refill are expensive however, and recharging the battery requires a cable and external power source. Two improvements could be to reduce the cost of detractor refills, and maybe incorporate a solar charger.

We have bought the first generation and then moved to these. They are great and really make a difference, however, they are expensive. We just got a new one and it must have been a dud because we have only used it a few times and upon charging it, it just stopped working. It would have been a 4.5 but for this.

I’ve had a Thermacell for a while. The last purchase I made was for 18 hrs. (2). I turned it on about an hour before I went outside and, an hour later, have about 10 mosquito bites. This may be good for “lesser” mosquitoes, but for Texas mosquitoes, it just doesn’t work.

I was so excited to get a Thermacell with longer battery life. It didn’t seem to be working; today I picked it up to recharge and there is oil everywhere. The first time, I thought it must have gotten knocked over accidentally. This time I know it wasn’t. So I have a half full 36 hour refill and a useless appliance.
