Works great until the company's server went down.

Giving it as a Christmas gift!!

Great when it works, but it shuts off for no apparent reason often

I bought this a few weeks ago and am very happy that I did. Easy to mount and the camera is great. It's fun to see the birds and with the identification, it helps me identify the ones I don't know.

This is my third Birdfy Feeder, as I gift away my previous versions when a new one hits the market, and let me tell you, this one puts the rest in its price range to shame. I don't think I'll be passing this one along any time soon... They all feature quick, easy setup via your smartphone and a 2.5 GHz Wi-Fi connection, and with several mounting options, you can always find a perfect spot. The solar panel for charging the camera battery is on one side of the roof, so you will need to pick an area that will get a few hours of direct sunlight to keep it charged. Once you fill it with quality food, you will have visitors in no time. I had several guests within a couple of hours after installation. Unfortunately, my tree is home to a family of squirrels, but now with the impenetrable metal construction, I don't need to worry about it getting vandalized when the food runs low because this feeder is built like a tank!!! Now with full-color night vision and app alerts, which can differentiate between male and female birds, this is the time to upgrade your existing feeder or take the plunge with this version. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely love this Birdfy metal bird feeder! The camera quality is excellent , and the app is very easy to use and makes it fun to check in on all the different birds visiting throughout the day. It was simple to set up, easy to fill with bird seed, and the metal design feels very sturdy and high quality. Such a fun addition to the backyard - highly recommend!

I ordered up the Birdfy Smart Metal Bird Feeder with Built-in Solar Panel and AI Camera a week ago and I'm really impressed. We get our share of squirrels, rain, and wind, so I wanted something tougher than the usual plastic feeders. This metal one delivers. The all-metal construction feels very sturdy and squirrel-resistant. Those little thieves have tried, but they can't chew through it or knock it around like my old feeders. The built-in solar panel keeps the battery charged with almost no effort from me — I haven't had to recharge it manually once. The 1080p camera is clear during the day, and the night vision works better than I expected. I get instant notifications on my phone whenever birds show up, and I can watch live or check the recorded clips anytime. The motion detection is pretty reliable. Best part? It came with lifetime AI bird identification included. The app automatically tags over 6,000 species, so I'm learning all the different birds visiting my yard — cardinals, blue jays, chickadees, woodpeckers, and even a few I wouldn't have known without the AI. It creates nice daily highlights too. No monthly subscription needed — huge plus! Setup was straightforward: connect to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, hang it on a pole, fill with seed, and done. The seed capacity is decent, and it's easy enough to refill. A couple small things: cleaning the hopper takes a minute because of the metal design, and the AI occasionally mixes up very similar-looking birds, but it's accurate enough for everyday use and keeps getting better with updates. Overall, this is a fun, low-maintenance way to enjoy backyard birdwatching. If you're thinking about a smart feeder and want durability plus lifetime AI without extra fees, I highly recommend grabbing this one. Would buy again!

I love this bird feeder so far. I am a huge fan of this line of products, and this feeder has been the most exciting. It's extremely easy to set up, and it seems very sturdy. I am hoping that cleaning is fairly simple as well. I love the little bird feed locks for the tray-- adorable!

Really like it so far. I've hesitated getting a smart feeder before because most are plastic and vulnerable to squirrel damage. This metal one seems to eliminate that problem. Picture quality is great, best if not pointed into the rising/setting sun. I wish I was attracting more interesting birds but that's not the fault of the feeder.

Great Feeder, the new hit of the hot bird summer! The metal style will not disappoint. I was initially worried the metal would get too hot for birds to want to come to the feeder, but I was wrong. This appears to be more durable than the plastic version and does not seem to have any downside, while the older plastic models can snap and wear out over time. If you are on the fence, definitely get this metal feeder; you will not be disappointed!
