This is my third Birdfy Feeder, as I gift away my previous versions when a new one hits the market, and let me tell you, this one puts the rest in its price range to shame. I don't think I'll be passing this one along any time soon... They all feature quick, easy setup via your smartphone and a 2.5 GHz Wi-Fi connection, and with several mounting options, you can always find a perfect spot. The solar panel for charging the camera battery is on one side of the roof, so you will need to pick an area that will get a few hours of direct sunlight to keep it charged. Once you fill it with quality food, you will have visitors in no time. I had several guests within a couple of hours after installation. Unfortunately, my tree is home to a family of squirrels, but now with the impenetrable metal construction, I don't need to worry about it getting vandalized when the food runs low because this feeder is built like a tank!!! Now with full-color night vision and app alerts, which can differentiate between male and female birds, this is the time to upgrade your existing feeder or take the plunge with this version. You will not be disappointed.

Great Feeder, the new hit of the hot bird summer! The metal style will not disappoint. I was initially worried the metal would get too hot for birds to want to come to the feeder, but I was wrong. This appears to be more durable than the plastic version and does not seem to have any downside, while the older plastic models can snap and wear out over time. If you are on the fence, definitely get this metal feeder; you will not be disappointed!

I love this bird feeder so far. I am a huge fan of this line of products, and this feeder has been the most exciting. It's extremely easy to set up, and it seems very sturdy. I am hoping that cleaning is fairly simple as well. I love the little bird feed locks for the tray-- adorable!

The new metal feeder is the best product from Birdfy! Having a built in solar charger makes refilling easy, and the metal is durable and great looking in the yard! Takes only a few minutes to set up and install.

So far so good! I love that this is metal so the squirrels can't chew it. I also love that the solar panel is built right in to the roof.
