This feeder is a great way to get into viewing birds. Its well packaged and built and easy to set up with the Birdfy app. It also comes with all mounting hardware needed for trees, posts, or poles. I recommend this feeder for anyone looking to get into bird watching.

The integrated solar panel is a huge plus - it keeps the camera fully charged even on overcast days, making the whole setup completely maintenance-free. The AI camera captures crystal-clear, sharp video, and the motion detection is spot on. It accurately identifies the different bird species visiting our yard and sends instant notifications, which has been incredibly fun to track. i’ve been a huge fan of birdfy for a while, and bought a previous generation of feeder in 2025 as a gift (still going strong!). i am so excited to have one for myself now. there are so many quality of life upgrades have been made on the new generation of feeder! the camera is so clear and easy to access for maintenance and cleaning. i love that the whole body is made of metal to deter chewing, mold, and damage. it feels very solid and sturdy. the seed guard is attached with latches so squirrels and raccoons can’t remove it and drain your feeder. i also love that the solar panel is integrated so there are no cables available for squirrels to chew! my family and friends love that it’s easy to share access to the camera so we can compare birds in our areas. my six-year-old is obsessed with rewatching all the cute and funny moments the camera catches and saves in the app. as a birdfy customer for over a year, i will also say that their customer service and support is incredible. it’s easy to solve just about any problem you could run into without ever having to leave the birdfy app. support is super responsive actual humans, and they’ve all been so helpful in answering questions! overall 10/10, would buy again!

I love this bird feeder so far. I am a huge fan of this line of products, and this feeder has been the most exciting. It's extremely easy to set up, and it seems very sturdy. I am hoping that cleaning is fairly simple as well. I love the little bird feed locks for the tray-- adorable!

This is my third Birdfy Feeder, as I gift away my previous versions when a new one hits the market, and let me tell you, this one puts the rest in its price range to shame. I don't think I'll be passing this one along any time soon... They all feature quick, easy setup via your smartphone and a 2.5 GHz Wi-Fi connection, and with several mounting options, you can always find a perfect spot. The solar panel for charging the camera battery is on one side of the roof, so you will need to pick an area that will get a few hours of direct sunlight to keep it charged. Once you fill it with quality food, you will have visitors in no time. I had several guests within a couple of hours after installation. Unfortunately, my tree is home to a family of squirrels, but now with the impenetrable metal construction, I don't need to worry about it getting vandalized when the food runs low because this feeder is built like a tank!!! Now with full-color night vision and app alerts, which can differentiate between male and female birds, this is the time to upgrade your existing feeder or take the plunge with this version. You will not be disappointed.

The new metal feeder is the best product from Birdfy! Having a built in solar charger makes refilling easy, and the metal is durable and great looking in the yard! Takes only a few minutes to set up and install.

I own two of Birdfy’s Paragon Bamboo Birdhouses and I’m thrilled with the angled design allowing a side view of the nest and babies. The photos and videos are very good. I found the Birdfy Smart Metal Bird Feeder at Samsclub, and the price was significantly lower than at other retailers. The videos which start when motion is detected vary from good to better depending on where the feeding bird decides to perch. The build of the feeder is both sturdy and stylish, but the wide, side-to-side feeding holes causes birds to eat out of camera shot. A couple of design changes would improve the camera results.
