[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been really impressed with the Birdfy Feeder Metal Espresso . The espresso color is aesthetically pleasing , and I absolutely love the overall sharp look of the feeder. The perch that slides out is really cool, and to me, is a plus. The top is super easy to open and close making it easy to fill. The metal construction feels incredibly sturdy and well-made, and it's held up great so far against the weather and curious squirrels and the occasional raccoon . It definitely gives me confidence that it'll last for years without rusting or getting chewed up. The camera quality is excellent, producing clear 1080p videos that capture amazing close-up views of the birds. One of my favorite features is the AI bird identification, which has made learning about the different species visiting my yard both fun and educational. The full-color night vision is another great addition—I love being able to see activity even after dark, since we get the occasional hangry raccoon. The built-in solar panel has been a huge convenience. With my other feeders with stand alone solar panels, I've had issues with birds sitting on them and pushing them down away from the sun, which occasionally causes charging issues, so this to me is another plus. Set up was quick and straightforward since everything came preassembled. The app is easy to use, sends notifications when birds arrive, and lets me save and revisit my favorite visitors. The only improvement I'd really like to see is an adjustable camera, like the original Birdfy feeder. (I have the white one with the blue top and perch) Right now, the camera angle is fixed, so you can't tilt it up or down to customize the view. Being able to adjust the camera angle would make it much easier to capture different-sized birds or get the perfect shot depending on where the feeder is mounted. Overall, this is a fantastic smart bird feeder that combines durability, excellent video quality, and useful technology into one package. Despite the fixed camera angle, it's been a wonderful addition to my backyard, and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys birdwatching.

Giving it as a Christmas gift!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved my espresso metal feeder a week ago and am very impressed with it. It was easy to set up and It's very sturdy. I love the extendable perch and built-in solar panel. We recently had a tornado in NE Ohio shortly after I hung it and it survived without a scratch. It's such a pleasure to see my favorite birds in such detail. I love being notified when new ones arrive. I especially love seeing my beautiful bluebirds, adults and juveniles. I also have the birdfy duo nest box and currently have the female roosting on 4 eggs, making it 14 new bluebird so far this season. Birdfy support has always been amazing. As I get new products I pass on my older ones and everyone seems to love them. As with any technology, there are always glitches but birdfy gives great support. I won't hesitate to continue to have them as part of my birding adventures.

Quality product. Well packaged with a sturdy yet simple design. Multiple mounting options, easy access for refills and cleanings. This is our 3rd Birdfy product for a reason. Go get one!

i've been a huge fan of birdfy for a while, and bought a previous generation of feeder in 2025 as a gift (still going strong!). i am so excited to have one for myself now. there are so many quality of life upgrades have been made on the new generation of feeder! the camera is so clear and easy to access for maintenance and cleaning. i love that the whole body is made of metal to deter chewing, mold, and damage. it feels very solid and sturdy. the seed guard is attached with latches so squirrels and raccoons can't remove it and drain your feeder. i also love that the solar panel is integrated so there are no cables available for squirrels to chew! my family and friends love that it's easy to share access to the camera so we can compare birds in our areas. my six-year-old is obsessed with rewatching all the cute and funny moments the camera catches and saves in the app. as a birdfy customer for over a year, i will also say that their customer service and support is incredible. it's easy to solve just about any problem you could run into without ever having to leave the birdfy app. support is super responsive actual humans, and they've all been so helpful in answering questions! overall 10/10, would buy again!

I own two of Birdfy's Paragon Bamboo Birdhouses and I'm thrilled with the angled design allowing a side view of the nest and babies. The photos and videos are very good. I found the Birdfy Smart Metal Bird Feeder at Samsclub, and the price was significantly lower than at other retailers. The videos which start when motion is detected vary from good to better depending on where the feeding bird decides to perch. The build of the feeder is both sturdy and stylish, but the wide, side-to-side feeding holes causes birds to eat out of camera shot. A couple of design changes would improve the camera results.

Works great until the company's server went down.

Great when it works, but it shuts off for no apparent reason often

I've flown airplanes at night in thunderstorms by myself but I can't get this bird feeder to “fly” in regard to getting it to interface with our WiFi. It is fully charged, less than 4 feet from the router and WiFi and all it does is make annoying sounds when attempting to connect. I'm returning it only hours after purchase for a refund.
