So glad I caught this item on sale! So happy with my purchase. Cleaning the house has never been this easy. I love that it is cordless so I can clean up any mess made in our home. The vacuum is not heavy and it automatically adjusts the suction depending on the floor type.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am OCD when it comes to having clean floors. The Shark PowerDetect Cordless Vacuum Clean and Empty System works amazing from day 1. I love cleaning my floors in the dark because the LED lights up everything I can't see.

This is my second Shark vacuum my first one finally went to rest so I had to get another and it was a no-brainer. I want to get the same thing as what I had because it worked so well. No Dyson for this gal. I'm on a good budget and Shark is very affordable and it works just as good.

This was my very first cordless vacuum cleaner. How excited I was to be able to pick up this vacuum and not be tied to an electrical outlet. This is BY FAR the worst expensive purchase I have ever made. When I vacuum I want suction!! I want the dirt and dust to be sucked up. Yes I ran it on high speed. This vacuum has low, medium and high. It's suppose to give 70 minutes of vacuum time. Although it doesn't stay, but this must be on low speed, because I am lucky to get 15 minutes. I can't get through two rooms and either the vacuum get plugged or the battery power starts flashing. Not long after that flashing the vacuum turns off. Well my house is only 1230 Square feet, not a large house, and I can't get my work done. So my solution was to purchase an extra battery. Still can't complete my home even with two batteries. There is a flaw too in the design of the vacuum bar. Between the roller bar and the plastic housing of the vacuum head it catches lint, dust, dirt, whatever and needs to be cleaned out on a regular basis. I have had my vacuum over a year I really really tried to make this work but I hate it!!! I do like the auto clean docking station, but that's about it. I replaced it today with a bissell vacuum that is corded, may my Shark rest in peace. So that's my opinion … hope you have better results. Hey Shark want to buy back this piece of ju$k.

Honestly had nothing but issues... Tried switching over after having a Dyson and nothing but trouble (of course after the 30 day window.... About 60 days).... Can't run full power with a fresh battery and filter... Just shows errors and I'm not even eligible to return, with the headache this has been I don't even want a replacement.

I loved this vacuum at first, but now I hate it. I change the filters- all 3 of them- regularly and it loses suction so easily. The other part is that it is TERRIBLE on hard floors. When vacuuming on hard floors, it just throws all the dirt and hair back at your feet. I have to use the crevice attachment vs the actual vacuum head on the hard floor. We just redid our floors so now everything is hard floor but the bedrooms.... So we went back to the corded vacuum. So sad, but this was not worth it for how long the quality lasted. The battery also doesn't last long. It used to run for 45 minutes- an hour and now it only goes for about 20 minutes. I've only had this thing for a year.

I have never owned a cordless vacuum before. The last one I had was a Sears Kenmore canister that was more than 20 years old. The Shark Ninja is a great replacement. Lightweight and easy to use. Works well going from surface to surface and has good suction. I was able to vacuum my whole house including bathrooms and kitchen and did not loose power or suction.

I've had my vacuum for about a year, and let me just say I've hated it! First, the run time lasts about 30 minutes. The level of frustration I get when I am mid clean session and it just dies!!! 😡 I'm a mother of 2 and have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I need my vacuum to work and run longer than 30 minutes. Second, the amount of clogs I have to clear out of the unit every single time I have to use it, it's such an inconvenience and a huge waist of time. I clean my filters weekly, but that doesn't help. If you have a home full of pets and people … this is NOT the unit for you. The moment that front brush is clogged with hair, it's no longer going to have the same suction and more hair and dirt is left behind. It's more like you're just pushing it around. I've always been a Bissell or Dyson person … consider this me going back! Even the attachments suck! Only thing I like about it is the self emptying feature. Keeps dust at a minimum. If your company would like to utilize me as product testers … I welcome that. Maybe I can help you make these machines better.

I have had this vacuum for a little over a year. Seemed ok but not very good on carpet. It is extremely hard for me to push. I don't know why a medium plush carpet would be so hard to vacuum. It's almost like the vacuum head gets caught in the carpet. . The battery wears down very quickly also and the suction is barely there. I should have returned it right away but thought maybe just needed to get used to it. I ended up buying a corded vacuum that is so much better. I'm sure like other people think a cordless vacuum is so easy to take out if it works good that is and the majority of my house is carpet. I should have read the negative reviews instead of concentrating on the positive ones.

I am completely obsessed with this vacuum! I thought I was a Dyson girl until I used this vacuum and now I never want to use anything else! The suction is not even comparable to any other vacuum I've used! It's incredible! I have a GSD (lots and lots of hair) and this vacuum gets rid of it like it's nothing! I love all the cool features. It's not very heavy, the noise level is great. I love the light feature and it is very easy to assemble! 20/10 recommend!
