I meant to buy this during Amazon Prime Week but it got sold out! I kept researching and researching this vacuum because I’ve been wanting it for months, and I finally found in stock at Walmart! 💙 Walmart is a lifesaver, AS ALWAYS! Back to the review… setting up the vacuum was really easy and I also watched a YouTube video to ensure I did it right. This vacuum is super light!!! It does take a little bit to charge, but it is definitely worth the wait! I love that it has 3 different settings and I especially love Detect mode that changes colors according to the level of debris it senses! This vacuum is very powerful and you can feel the pull when you’re vacuuming. It could easily zoom away if you don’t have a firm grip on it! 🤣 It really picked up all the additional debris that my old vacuum couldn’t! Imagine how long we’ve been living in that! I could really tell a difference after using this vacuum as the carpet felt super CRISP. I am so happy to have a cleaner, more breathable home. Also, the Auto Empty/charging dock is a game changer! It even comes with an odor eliminating puck that has a light and pleasant smell! I am so glad I finally purchased this vacuum and I know it will last a while. It really motivated me to clean and made the whole cleaning experience more enjoyable 😅👍

This vacuum is amazing. It's easy to operate, move around, and clean up. The self empty works flawlessly every time. And the base is easy to empty and clean once in a while. The edge detect, floor detect, and dirt detect all work like magic. Battery lasts a long time, easily do a 1500sq.f home and still have lots of charge left. I am quite sure this is a DC brushless motor. So don't worry about running it in smart mode like some customers have shown concern for, because the motor is constantly spinning up and down to adjust to floors and edges. This shouldn't be a problem for a brushless motor. Now the only thing remaining is that hopefully this product will last for a long time.... A of one month later, it is definitely recommended.

So far I’m loving our new Shark PowerDetect™ Cordless Vacuum Clean & Empty System. We have a French Bulldog who sheds like crazy, and 3 long haired people in our house. This vacuum powers through all the hair, and it doesn’t get bound up on the roller at all! No more picking clumps of hair out of our old canister vac! The self emptying feature is very handy.

I had a V15 Detect from Dyson and had so many problems with it and basically no aftermarket support. First the vacuum is exceptional, and I called to ask a question, I wanted to know how to get new filters to keep everything running properly and they sent me a filter free of charge! I didn’t asked for it to be free. So far really good after market. The vacuum can pass everywhere from hard floors to carpet without changing anything. The automated system to empty the vacuum is super as well. Really impressed with everything.

I like the way it folds in half makes it very easy the get underneath beds and couches. Battery life is good and the suction and auto clean is a bonus.

When I purchased this vacuum I had no idea how powerful if was. It effortlessly switches from bare floors to carpet. Automatically switches to more power when it detects dirt and cleans right up to the edges like no other vacuum I've used. I love this vacuum

As someone who has always used a corded vacuum, this vacuum has made my life so much easier. The suction is on par with my corded vacuum, even on carpet. It's no longer a hassle to do a quick mid week clean or vacuum upholstery/stairs/cars. Very happy that I treated myself to this. Reason I dropped one star is I wish you could manually empty the dust bin from the vac as well as using the clean and empty system. Seems like only way to empty dust is to use the charging station.

It has great power for a stick vacuum, it works really well at picking up small debris and pet hair and I like having the emptying container more than I thought. However, the comb/grate at the front of the unit by the small roller builds up pet hair fast. So, the vacuum picks it up, but I have to scrape out the built up bits several times (I have dogs) per vacuuming session. The edge pick up is not as good as Shark claims — it does not pick up anything alongside a wall.

It seemed nice and I love the idea of it but unfortunately, the vacuum was only used 1.5 for a small living room area before it seized. It smelled of something burning so I didn't get to finish the other 0.5. My boyfriend had to spend 45 min delicately removing the dog hair that had wrapped itself all around and into the mechanisms. The fluffy green and black rod is permanently scarred and practically useless. Needless to say, I haven't used the vacuum since.

Terrible vacuum. The low settings don't suck anything up and the high setting automatically shuts the thing off (some sort of protection setting). I've cleaned the filters multiple times (supposed to help keep the motor cool) but as soon as I start to clean the floors, the filters get dirty and the thing shuts off again. So frustrating!!!
