The vacuum works well. Love the self emptying function. Also the light on the cleaning head as I can see the dirt on my floors and see that it is actually picked up! Run time is also good as my old vacuum would run out of battery before I finished cleaning.

I love this vacuum. I had a different brand with a cord and it was so heavy to lug around the house. I love how durable and easy to use this is. I really like the light to show all the dog hair in my living room (it was truly invisible to the eye). I clean often so I was surprised there was so much hair but the vacuum did the job! I also love the self cleaning aspect.

Bought this model for son and daughter in law, they were so happy with it bought the same model for myself. We have hardwood, area rugs and tile and this cordless vacuum works great on all surfaces. Have a corded shark stick vacuum which has worked great for years but wanted a cordless vacuum and now wonder why we did not go cordless long ago. Not at all disappointed with our new shark and the auto empty is great.

I absolutely love my Shark Power Detect vacuum! It strikes the perfect balance between power and maneuverability. It also cleans really well along walls and baseboards. Many vacuums miss these edges, but this one gets right up against them. And the self-emptying unit is a game-changer. I will need more time as I have only had a week and half but have vacuumed about 3 times and love it. My floors and rugs actually feel cleaner and I had a Shark duo before. I love how it detects dirt with color light change when clean. Just love the clean & empty system. Too cool. Hope it continues being the best

I’ve only had this for about a month but so far it’s been life changing, from the commodity of cleaning without worrying about a cord, to reaching corners, under furniture without crazy maneuvers , cleans furniture very easily. I love it so much! I can only hope it’s durable and lasts a long time! For an apartment it’s perfect! For a house I’m not sure if the battery will be enough to clean it all in one charge. Nonetheless if you find this on a discount don’t overthink it and get it !!

This thing cleans hard floors like nothing else. Edges, stairs, and sucks out decades old dirt from hardwood. Love the folding handle, now I dont have dust bunnies multiplying under the bed. Head fits under edges of almost everything we own. Love the auto empty system as well. I think the auto sensing stopped working properly, seems to only run at one speed unless it's on carpet. Will not work on any mats we own, it sucks them into the head.

So great for picking up animal hair and dirt. I prefer picking my own setting vs using the sensor, especially when switching from hard floor to an area rug. I love the self cleaning/charging dock. It's almost perfect aside from when it sticks if you turn it too far to one side.

Review after one month of using my first cordless vacuum. My comparison is vs our central vacuum with powerhead and a canister Miele with powerhead. Positives: On carpet the big powerhead picks up everything. If you have pets - the amount of hair it will extract will blow your mind vs what your old vacuum was missing. Negatives: On hard floors the big powerhead pushes debris away from you instead of vacuuming it up. Run time isn't able to fully vacuum 1200 sq ft and recharging takes much longer than is practicable (hours). The small included powerhead attachment does not pick up anything. There is no "normal" brush head like every vacuum on earth has. It includes a wand type brush for horizontal blinds. It is top heavy so if you try to stand the vacuum up by leaning it against something when moving chairs out of your way it will probably tip over and the dustbin will detach from the unit when it hits the floor.

Eats rugs, inconsistent detection regardless of floor types. Plastic wheels scratch floors. Clunky head dings walls and furniture, a little bumper padding would go a long way. The angle necessary to keep it from snapping close is unusually low. Upholstery head looked promising but it just doesn’t work right, what ever happened to bristles? The only good thing is the auto empty. Disappointed to say the least. For the price and hype I can honestly say not worth it.
