Have had this for over two months now. I have to go over the same area multiple times. There is a trail left behind of particles the vacuum will not suck up. I find it very difficult to go from hardwood floors to a very thin rug to carpeting. The dog hair will stick if you will to the roller. I can vacuum two or three rugs and I have to stop and clean the entire vacuum before starting in a new area. The battery does not last enough to clean an entire level of living area. I have always been a fan of shark products but this is by far the biggest purchase regret I’ve had.

It works well on carpets and upholstered furniture. It does not work very well on hardwood floors. You have to go very slow on the hard surfaces - I end up going around with a broom to get corners which kind of defeats the purpose of having.a nifty cordless cleaner. The latch to the dust-bin collector pops open from time to time - so be careful you aren't just redistributing the dirt. The charge does not last long enough to do my entire small two-story home (I typically do one level at a time so it is manageable.) This really just is not worth the price.

I’m absolutely loving my new shark cordless vacuum and I love how my hair does not get trapped in the roller head. I love the lights on the head and how when you vacuum the edges it sucks higher. I would not change a thing. I love automatic emptying every time I vacuum.

I was really happy the first week and now it’s been a little over a month and the last couple of weeks I’ve just hated it. It’s not sucking or if it is, I think it might be and then it’s spitting it back out in the back so then I turn around where I already vacuumed and there’s a bunch of crap on the floor again. And it has never sucked up along the baseboards like it claims. I love being cordless but other than that very disappointed bc I’ve loved shark vacuums for a long time

Bought for Black Friday. Opened it today, finally. Was so excited, but it didn't last. Works beautifully with hand held system, although i did have some issues with getting pet hair to empty. But there was nothing on the floor attachment to hold the blue front brush in. it fell out the first time i lifted it out of its packaging. For the price point that is just ridiculous. i love my regular Shark vacuum so much I bought one for all my family members. Glad i didn't buy them this one, :(

Not as powerful as others are saying. I have dog hair on plank flooring that sticks to the plank flooring and it doesn’t pick it up. I’ve tried high mode and it’s ok but leaves clumps of dog hair from the rubber when backing up the wand. I do love the automatic cleaning out chamber! Works great.

I bought this three months ago for our new home. It picks up all the a Great Features !!changer. It lasts for approximately 45 days before you have to empty it and with the push of a button you empty it into the trash and not having to worry about having vacuum bags on hand, Best design & features Shark could have made.

Ive had this for a few weeks now. It is lite and so versatile when usung around the house. Not saying you need it. But the self clean is nice. Then when the main container gets full you empty it. So if it matches the longevity of other shark products I have bought. I will be very happy with it. Cause ive used this on blinds to on top of cabinets to crevices on couch and chairs and so much more. Buy it and be happy.

I hesitate between one and teo stars simply because it’s easy to maneuver and self-cleaning; however I bought this in November for our new apartment—which is only 1-level, about 1100 sq ft—and it works half as well in only four months time. I am now having to go back over the same areas multiple times to get some of the dirt up, picking up pieces big enough to see the vacuum missed, and it won’t clean the whole apartment at one time, has to be recharged. Nothing happened to it. It worked better at first. I have bought nothing but sharks for almost two decades and this may be my last.

I have only had this a couple weeks but so far absolutely love it! We are a ranching family so our vacuum gets a lot of dirt, straw, dust, not to mention dog hair from our 2 Aussies. It has been amazing so far. This was purchased to replace an older Shark cordless vacuum but I feel the PowerDetect makes a huge difference.
