This vacuum would be great if we didn't have pets! (We have 2 dogs and 2 cats) I have to stop every couple of minutes and unclog hair and debri that builds up on the roller brush. The only way it really sucks anything up is if it is in turbo mode. However, then the battery dies before I get half way through with the house ( our house is only 1300 sqft) I really wish I would have stuck with a classic upright vacuum 😢

I have really tried to like this product. Best features are charging station and self cleaning . Boost power is very poorly designed and only gives a boost transitioning from hard floor to carpet. Does not pick up well on hardwood floors. I would return this if I could , but waited too late. SO NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

Love this vacuum! The auto empty is such a nice feature, in fact, i'm more inclined to vacuum more often, (like twice a day at least often). I have 4 very furry shedding babies, and nasty allergies, so this vacuum has been a GAME CHANGER. I got this in a bundle with the steam mop, and my floors are looking soooo nice!! Thanks Shark(:

I own Model: BU3521, and thought I would upgrade to this model to keep in a different area of my home. I love the convenience of no cord and vacuuming every day, so I figured since this had more features and it was more expensive it would be an upgrade. What a disappointment, I wish I had bought another BU3521. It's hard to turn on, it doesn't detect the flooring easily - doesn't pick up when vacuuming in reverse like the description says. When I used the power boost, the charge didn't even last 20 minutes. I didn't save the box, so I don't know how I can return and replace with the other model...Shark, can you assist?

I've been trying multiple cordless vacuums. This one is just ok. The suction isn't amazing and it does NOT suck crumbs from corners well. I feel like it works best when on “boost” mode as shown in the video, but even so it doesn't suck much from corners. It has a self cleaning system which is convenient. It's nice and compact and easy for storage can fit into any corner in your home. It's ok not amazing I will be trying out other cordless vacuums until I find my favorite one.

While Dyson is the bigger name, Shark wins on durability and overall value—Dyson should take notes on how to build a high-performance vacuum that actually lasts. Performance: the Shark picks up more debris in fewer passes. Run Time: the Shark last long enough for me to do my whole house and still have battery life left over. Build Quality: the Shark feels sturdier and handles daily wear and tear better. Cost-to-Value Ratio: more for money with the Shark I only wish that it came with the handheld Motorhead as an accessory instead of a separate purchase. Am I Doing Something Wrong?? I was so excited to get this vacuum. The first brand name vacuum ive invested in. But this is the WORST?? Even on eco mode the suction is too strong to use on rugs (being too "good" was not what I expected) and immediately jams, blocking airflow, and turning off the rollers. This isn't able to be fixed without turning it off and back on, adjusting back into eco mode, and almost always getting blocked again immediately no matter how I adjust where I start. Speaking of which, the button for switching between modes is directly under the index finger, causing it to be very uncomfortable to hold while trying to avoid this button. Holding it like this is also uncomfortable with it being too heavy to comfortably lift repeatedly to adjust positioning. Uncomfortable positioning continues with the button to press in utilizing the multi-flex technology. It's placed with ease of manufacturing, but not for ease of use. An additional inconvenient "feature" is the "self standing" lock. Any time you get near 90⁰, the head locks into place and has to be manually corrected before continuing, but is not able to stand freely while in use due to the posterior wheels and weight. I really want to love this vacuum for the self emptying and charging while docked, but every time I use this it just gets more inconvenient. Please help if you have any tricks, as I already discarded packaging.

I have had this vacuum for about a year and half and I’m very disappointed. It does not pick up pet hair off of my area rug very well. If I go over my rug with a lint roller after vacuuming there is still a ton of hair. Also nearly every time I vacuum I have to pull hair out from between the soft roller brush and the plastic bumper. So it not even in the brush roll where it gets caught it’s inside the plastic bumper. It has a 2 brush roll design that is poorly executed. And yes, I change and wash the filters regularly. It doesn’t make a difference. And sometimes the static electricity build up is so much it just leaves rolls of hair on my carpet. I will not be buying a shark vacuum again and I do not recommend to anyone.

The absolute worst. I have had this 7 months now and it’s been a problem since day 1. Not good for hardwood floors, just blows dirt around. Hair constantly gets stuck in the wheels so I have to take it apart. I actually miss my Dyson. But honestly, this has just led me back to a broom and dust pan.

I have a collie that sheds constantly and this vacuum so far is the best I have owned. Portable and powerful and the automatic empty is great. So far I would highly recommend it to anyone. Great product and quick delivery.
