10/10 recommend. I’ve owned a Shark vacuum before this one and it was nice and worked very well so I knew I wanted to stick with a Shark. However, this one is the king of vacuums to me. The only flaw I’ve noticed is if you put it in boost mode, the battery doesn’t last long. But, other than that this vacuum is awesome!

I was hesitant getting this vacuum due to it’s price, but so far, it has not disappointed. The smart detect mode is great for all edging and maneuvering between carpet and hard floors. It is seamless. The extra surge of power for dirtier spots really gives a sense of a thorough clean. Eco mode is a lot quieter, best used if you need a quick spot clean. I absolutely love that I can turn on quiet mode on the charge stand so it doesn’t always evacuate the canister whenever it is put back. The only thing I have a hard time with is the weight of it. It can tire a hand out. Otherwise, great battery life, excellent cleaning modes, and the fact it can get underneath low profile furniture takes the cake. I would definitely recommend it and buy it again. After the first use, my floor felt and looked cleaner than before.

Just got the hand held cordless vac a month ago. My wife and I are so pleased. It was and upgrade from the last one we bought from shark. We are very pleased with the run time, the suction, and the debris removal. And also the automatic tank emptying when you put it back in the home charging station. Well made product shark. That is why I keep coming back to you guys, you make good products.

This vacuum is amazing in more ways than one! The suction is unbelievable. The auto detect is one of the coolest features I’ve ever experienced and it totally work. The container in the back literally sucks the dust, hair, cat litter up so easily! Very pleased! One downside is the actual vacuum portion will get into the locked standing position while vacuuming and that can be annoying but everything else makes it worth it

This was my very first cordless vacuum cleaner. How excited I was to be able to pick up this vacuum and not be tied to an electrical outlet. This is BY FAR the worst expensive purchase I have ever made. When I vacuum I want suction!! I want the dirt and dust to be sucked up. Yes I ran it on high speed. This vacuum has low, medium and high. It’s suppose to give 70 minutes of vacuum time. Although it doesn’t stay, but this must be on low speed, because I am lucky to get 15 minutes. I can’t get through two rooms and either the vacuum get plugged or the battery power starts flashing. Not long after that flashing the vacuum turns off. Well my house is only 1230 Square feet, not a large house, and I can’t get my work done. So my solution was to purchase an extra battery. Still can’t complete my home even with two batteries. There is a flaw too in the design of the vacuum bar. Between the roller bar and the plastic housing of the vacuum head it catches lint, dust, dirt, whatever and needs to be cleaned out on a regular basis. I have had my vacuum over a year I really really tried to make this work but I hate it!!! I do like the auto clean docking station, but that’s about it. I replaced it today with a bissell vacuum that is corded, may my Shark rest in peace. So that’s my opinion … hope you have better results. Hey Shark want to buy back this piece of ju$k.

I recieved this Shark Power Detect. I am very pleased with it performance. The build quality seems good, although some plsatic parts feel like that may break (Probally wont break, but feels flimsy). The suction power is incredible for this vacuum cleaner. I do have a dog, and he sheds quite a bit. The hair pickup is really good and does not get clogged whatsoever. Now I do have a large house but, the vacuum is constanly ramping up and down. With that the battery seems to drain very quickly and was unable to finish my entire house without it dying. (I wish there was a medium mode too). Dirt removal is also a very strong point of this vacuum cleaner. It picks up everything on the first pass!

I’ve had this thing for six months now. It’s my first cordless vacuum, so I was originally thrilled by its convenience. But I grow more disappointed with it every time I use it. I have to clean the brush head (and sometimes the wand, as well) after each use because it gets so clogged with pet hair. The teeth behind the felt brush just catch hair and clog so quickly. The other issue is that the motor will just randomly stop and all the lights on the screen flash. I have no idea what it means. I turn it off, turn it on, and it starts up again until the next episode a few minutes later. And finally, the battery takes far too long to charge. I have a lot of pet hair and a medium sized house, and I can’t do the whole house on a single charge. It takes hours for the battery to recharge to do the rest of my house. And by then, I’ve given up. Photos show how much hair gets clogged in the brush. The search for a good cordless vacuum continues…

I have never owned a cordless vacuum before. The last one I had was a Sears Kenmore canister that was more than 20 years old. The Shark Ninja is a great replacement. Lightweight and easy to use. Works well going from surface to surface and has good suction. I was able to vacuum my whole house including bathrooms and kitchen and did not loose power or suction.

I have had this vacuum for a little over a year. Seemed ok but not very good on carpet. It is extremely hard for me to push. I don’t know why a medium plush carpet would be so hard to vacuum. It’s almost like the vacuum head gets caught in the carpet. . The battery wears down very quickly also and the suction is barely there. I should have returned it right away but thought maybe just needed to get used to it. I ended up buying a corded vacuum that is so much better. I’m sure like other people think a cordless vacuum is so easy to take out if it works good that is and the majority of my house is carpet. I should have read the negative reviews instead of concentrating on the positive ones.

Very nice cordless vacuum. Shark honored the warranty on my year and half old cordless vacuum after several sensors went bad. They replaced it for free (other than nominal delivery fee) with this upgraded version. It's a powerful, effective vacuum cleaner, picking up the daily fur my golden retriever mix dog loses. The downside is the roller brush is so strong it doesn't roll over small rugs or thin runners easily -- often gathering up the material and jamming. That's why it didn't get 5 stars.
