[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted a short vacuum and I’m so excited about this. I love that it’s cordless. It’s hard for me to drag my other one up and down the stairs with a cord on it. I cannot wait to try this vacuum. It’s not too heavy. it’s the perfect size. And it comes with its own charging stand. I love this. 

Let me say this is be best suction ever. I used my navigator on my living room rug then used this system and it amazed me as to the amount of additional gsd hair that was extracted from the rug. The fact that the suction levels change per surface type is awesome. I only wish it would change from more quickly , when going from my thicker nap rug to a flat runner, it want to suck the runner up and when going along the edge of two different height rugs and the bare floor it doesn’t get the edges very well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The PowerDetect is a cool feature that adjusts power when it senses dirt or carpet. The auto disposal/charge station is convenient. Dirt holder is standard. Battery life is supposedly over an hour. It’s easy to maneuver and sound volume depends on power setting. Detaches to a handheld vacuum and comes with a couple of accessories.

I wanted to love this vacuum, but sadly the maintenance is driving me to use a competitor's model more. Why? Not because it doesn't work but because there are so many filters to clean monthly (and some are already falling apart after just 2 months). There are at least 7 filters that need to be washed and then take 24-48 hours to dry (usually 48). 4 in the auto-empty dock and 3 in the vacuum itself. It's almost borderline ridiculous. With that said the vacuum itself is pretty nice, it seems to pick up everything I throw at it, though the non removeable fine mesh filter seems to clog quickly, requiring me to empty it more often than normal. This vacuum is definitely not going to replace your upright, I keep it upstairs for a quick cleanup, but that all its really used for now.

This is a hard review to post as it seems I'm the only one in the world who has found issues with Shark vacuums not wanting to work on washable rugs!! I'm talking 9 ft x 12 ft rugs not just little ones. It stops working like it sucked up the rug or got caught. The Vertex liftaway corded/power detect liftaway corded and now this new cordless. Which speaks to its great suction power but what on earth am i going to do with my over $1500 worth of Shark vacuums and no way to vacuum all my new rugs?!?!? Help!!!

I bought the Shark PowerDetect Clean & Empty after buying and using the Shark Clean & Empty Cordless for a couple of months (I still have it but will likely use it in our camper or give it to a family member). This one is much more powerful, has features that are much smarter and well implemented than those of the Shark Clean & Empty Cordless but then the price is quite different as well so in this case, you really do get what you pay for. I'm surprised at how well the Shark Cordless PowerDetect Clean & Empty works comparatively. It doesn't struggle or lose suction, it seems able to pick up everything in its path on both hard floors and on carpet and the indicator lights changing color to indicate the detection of dirt is spot on. You can see the little crumbs or bits on the floor just before you run over them and just like you'd expect, the vacuum, detects it, changes the color of the light and if there is several bits of debris, it will even increase the speed of the motor and then ramp back down to save battery after detecting there is nothing else being picked up. The "Detect" features work VERY well and it runs much longer on battery than the Shark Clean & Empty Cordless in spite of their similarities. The build quality is also much nicer as well. I'm a skeptic when it comes to features that seem gimmicky but I'll admit that this Shark cordless really does do all that it says it will do and I'm super happy with my purchase. I only wish I had purchased this model first. If you are considering a Shark cordless vacuum, I would recommend going ahead and getting the Shark Cordless PowerDetect Clean & Empty. Their model names are SOOOO similar that it is definitely confusing but this is their top tier vacuum for a reason, it is leagues above their others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark Power Detect is a dream come true! It’s lightweight and easy to maneuver. It has multiple ways it can be used depending on your vacuum needs. Each change is so easy to make. You can complete small jobs in minutes. The suction on this machine is amazing and also adjustable if you need extra or want eco boost. It also does forward and reverse pickup. Battery life is about 70 minutes. One really cool feature is the auto-empty dock which saves you from having to empty the canister each time. All while keeping the dust inside along with the odor neutralizer technology to keep it smelling great. I would absolutely recommend the Shark Power Detect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very very easy to put together! I was surprised it was so quick and easy. I am impressed by this vacuum, think it does a great job cleaning and is relatively quiet (it’s still a vacuum, but it seems more gentle than my cheap vacuum)

Frequently have to dislodge clogs in the main tube and along the front roller, which is a frustrating mess and defeats the benefit of the super-sealed holding tank on the mothership. Doesn't last nearly as long as stated battery life. Doesn't work nearly as well as our really old plug-in Shark vacuum. Bought it cus we figured the top-of-the line newfangled machine could replace it. Spend the money if you're going to anyway, but don't quit your day vaccum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shark vacuum is great it has really good suction power and I like how the light at the bottom changes depending on the amount of dirt on the floor. You can bend the handle for those hard to reach spaces. The vacuum is not so loud and the battery life seems good so far. My favorite feature would have to be the auto empty dock.
