[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Shark Detect Pro Cordless Vacuum is a model with premium level features. The features include selectable modes, automatic floor surface detection, multiple accessories, and a base unit with a built-in dirt storage bin. The vacuum does a good job of cleaning flooring and rugs. A multispeed motor creates different levels of suction. The suction level automatically adjusts based on the level of dirt detected and the types of surfaces being cleaned. Similar to other vacuums, this one requires a bit more effort to use it and also is quite a bit heavier. It’s absolutely worth it though!

Just go ahead and pick something else. I had high hopes for this because I have shark vacuums in my house already. This one is probably my 5th shark. It doesn’t pick up what they say it will. It gets clogged so fast and then you have to turn it upside down to remove the clog. I do not want to touch that stuff. Canister is small. Both the one on the vacuum and the one on the stand. It’s lightweight but definitely under performed.

I love this vacuum, especially the automatic empty. No more dust clouds. The only thing, the battery, when it's unplugged and in use the charging bolt status stays on like it's still on the charger and i have never had a battery life number to indicate it needs charging. That's very strange to me. This started at day one of purchase.

I love that I can vacuum my whole house without getting tangled up in cords. I love that I don't have to empty the vacuum cleaner anymore and risk getting dirt everywhere except in the trashcan. I love that this vacuum works in all areas of my home and I don't need a separate vacuum for laminate flooring and area rugs. I love that it reaches under areas I couldn't reach before.

Overall it's an ok vacuum but I'm disappointed with the battery run time; on boost mode it only lasts 12 minutes! I can't vacuum my family room in that time! On auto or eco mode it definitely doesn't have as much suction as my old corded shark. Not sure it was worth the high cost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far the most incredible vacuum I’ve ever used, and I can say that with confidence because I’m constantly challenged to keep up with a shaggy dog (see pic) who is a “heavy shedder” - translation, fur everywhere. This vacuum is so efficient and easy to operate. I appreciate that it’s much lighter than almost any other vacuum I’ve used, without compromising on suction power or capacity. I especially love that it works like a fine toothed comb - gets into crevices that might be missed by older models. I also appreciate that it empties automatically! I feel like this is the definition of a Smart Vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be honest I didn’t expect a whole lot from this Shark vacuum, to my surprise I was wrong! I have a longer black haired Mainecoon kitty who sheds ALL OVER. No matter how much I run my robot or vacuum there always seems to be black fur balls all over my house. My robot vacuum doesn’t pick it up and my other full sized vacuum you have to run over it several times before it will pick it up. But THIS vacuum… PICKS IT UP ON THE FIRST TRY! Shocked! Super super impressed. With that said the attachments could be better but they aren’t terrible. And I really like how it empty’s the canister upon placing it on the charging stand, no dust! It’s a good looking vacuum so I don’t mind having it out. Overall I’m very pleased with this vacuum!!

I bought this vacuum for Black Friday last year. I have a large house and was tired of constantly unplugging and replugging my vaccum for each room. This vacuum, sucks to say the least. If you have pets, do not waste your time. The suction part, gets clogged with pet hair in less the 5 mins of vacuuming. So you constantly have to go empty it even though the bin is NO where near full. Then my pet hair, Got stuck so I had to manually empty it.. and the tiny little plastic piece holding it together broken in the first month. Parts weren’t even available on the website bc they were out of stock. Then pet hair gets clogged in the roller brush, OFTEN. Plus my right tiny roller wheel, also gets pet hair stuck and you have to use tweezers to get it all out. I also can’t even vacuum my entire house on one charge! Unless you were to go in to lower power mode? Useless.. I have a low pile rug in my living room, and for whatever reason? I can’t seem to push the vacuum across it. Neither than my husband? I tried making sure all the brushes and wheels were clear? They are, still will not let me push across it. If you have more then 2 bedrooms, a living room and office, don’t bother bc you have to wait for charges to even finish it all.. and pets with hair, I wouldn’t even bother. For the price I would expect it to not get constantly clogged.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fabulous vacuum! It auto detects whether you are cleaning bare floor or carpet. It senses edges and a light comes on. It also has the ability to maneuver under furniture. It picks up pet hair easily and boosts suction if it detects a large amount of debris. This suction is great and being cordless is a terrific bonus. It is top heavy and may becoming tiring if using for a long period of time, and can not stand on its own. Small trade offs in my opinion. The most fun is docking the vacuum, engaging the auto empty. A little surprising at first, but very satisfying and easy to empty. Best vacuum I have ever owned, definitely worth the investment.

For the price of the vacuum, I’d expect it to work on shag area rugs and it sadly does not. It’s just okay on any other surface. I am not impressed and will most likely be returning. I have a 8 yr old Navigator Lift Away that works amazing but it’s clunky and I have to keep plugging it in each room and deal with the cord which is why I bought this but I’d still need my old vacuum with this one. Not worth it.
