Just go ahead and pick something else. I had high hopes for this because I have shark vacuums in my house already. This one is probably my 5th shark. It doesn’t pick up what they say it will. It gets clogged so fast and then you have to turn it upside down to remove the clog. I do not want to touch that stuff. Canister is small. Both the one on the vacuum and the one on the stand. It’s lightweight but definitely under performed.

I love that it is cordless, it makes vacuuming feel so easy and effortless. I have it 4 stars because it does seem to struggle with certain rugs, not sure if I’m missing a mode or if it’s just the vacuum.

It is a workhorse on both carpets and hardwood floors, angling around obstacles as needed and delivering professional results. I was impressed by the long battery life, as I was able to finish the whole house in one charge. Since I have allergies, I was hoping it would sufficiently remove dust and it did better than I expected. I immediately noticed a difference. Lastly, the automatic evacuation of the vacuum is amazing. I love not having to worry about emptying the vacuum every time I use it.

Let me say this is be best suction ever. I used my navigator on my living room rug then used this system and it amazed me as to the amount of additional gsd hair that was extracted from the rug. The fact that the suction levels change per surface type is awesome. I only wish it would change from more quickly , when going from my thicker nap rug to a flat runner, it want to suck the runner up and when going along the edge of two different height rugs and the bare floor it doesn’t get the edges very well. Over all the best.

Great power , good for all floor surfaces, in power mode it does go through the battery very quickly. The one need is an option for a second battery for standby so you can finish whole house areas without having to stop and recharge. Overall great machine . .

The suction power is powerful, and suctions every dirt, hair, and dust out there. The battery lasted a long time, and I was able to vacuum a lot of rooms and areas. The empty system is something so innovative because I truly disliked getting dirt and dust eveytime I had to vacuum all over the place. This empty system avoids the trouble of that because it's just a one time thing after multiple empty systems.

Dirt holder is standard. Battery life is supposedly over an hour. It’s easy to maneuver and sound volume depends on power setting. Detaches to a handheld vacuum and comes with a couple of accessories.

I bought this Shark Cordless PowerDetect Clean & Empty Sys Vac in October 2024 and was amazed with its powerful suction and smoothless clean&empty sys features. My intellectually challenged son, Anthony, is able to operate it flawlessly with a little to no supervision at all and can also return to its place for easy emptying of the dust and debris collected by the vac. Thank you Shark for this great innovation.
