[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t know if I’m allowed to compare it with another brand here, but I’ll try to explain without naming the other brand, lol. We have two dogs (1 German Shepherd and Labrador/Retriever mix) and 1 cat, and had a cordless vacuum from another very known brand. It just dies right in the middle of our cleaning (not even), and I mean the quick hair vacuuming. So happy with this new Shark Cordless PowerDetect, since it automatically detects the floor type (carpet or other), and have dirt detection, where it lowers/higher the power of suction. I don’t have to bend over to clean under tables, chairs etc. Also it cleans and charges itself, have quiet mode, have odor neutralizer which makes me like it even more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] there is so much that is awesome about this vacuum that i don’t know where to start! i was already impressed with it as i was taking it out of the package, but once put to the test - i’m SOLD and in love. just to name a few of the iconic features it holds - the detect technology that auto adjusts the active suction level based on how much dirt it senses, is amazing, along with its ability to auto-detect between hard flooring and rugs and switches seamlessly and automatically! the edge detect technology is also a game changer, maximizing the suction when it senses a wall or corner to use the most power getting dirt and debris. and probably my favorite feature of them all, (there are many more features beyond what i listed, these were just a few of my favorite), is the AUTO-EMPTY DOCK. when you click the vacuum back into the dock, the dock uses strong suction and AUTO-EMPTIES THE DEVICE EACH TIME YOU USE IT! then, emptying the dust bin is as simple as pressing a few buttons. i have never been impressed with a vacuum like the way i am with this one, so if you are debating it - GET IT. if you’re just in the market for a vacuum and came across this one - GET IT. you will not be disappointed!!!!

Let me say this is be best suction ever. I used my navigator on my living room rug then used this system and it amazed me as to the amount of additional gsd hair that was extracted from the rug. The fact that the suction levels change per surface type is awesome. I only wish it would change from more quickly , when going from my thicker nap rug to a flat runner, it want to suck the runner up and when going along the edge of two different height rugs and the bare floor it doesn’t get the edges very well. The suction power, It can detect the level of dirt on the floor because the vacuum cleaner's maneuverability allows me to reach the most difficult places. The battery is long-lasting and I can vacuum my entire house. It has a container with an acceptable capacity to accumulate dust and the noise level of the vacuum cleaner is almost the same as other vacuum cleaners.

So far, so good. I’ve had this vacuum for a few weeks. It was easy to set up. I vacuumed an area where I had just vacuumed a couple of days before and was very surprised to see how much dirt and debris it picked up. I like that I can stand the unit anywhere and don’t have to screw parts into the wall. So far this has been an excellent purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Shark Cordless power detect is impressive. First of all, very easy to build, you even get a filter for replacement. It is sleek, sturdy and very powerful. It is on the heavy side but it is very easy to use and move so well that it doesnt bother. It has 2 different attachments that cover pretty much all uses. But the Best parts are the detection of the dirtyness that will push the power of the vacuum without doing anything on your side; the light, I tried it with a low lighting inside the house and I was amazed on how you could see all the dust and crumb on your floor, the vacuum detects it and start to be more powerful (I couldn’t stop vacuuming because I was seing everything), you also have back lights going from white to purple in sync with the power suction; last but not least the wand that can bend to a 90 degree position, no more kneeling on the floor to go under the sofa!!!! When you are done you put it back on the base and pull back a trap that power up a suction, all the dust goes into the big white bin. I am very pleased, I have an old one from an other very well known brand, and my choice will go to this one, it is much more sturdy and more high tech. And I could do my whole house before running out of battery. There is also an odor neutralizer with a very nice scent. I think Shark went up their game. Wow

Bought one 4.days ago, took it back due to it shutting down all the time due to overheating. Exchanged it yesterday for another one thinking it was a faulty and it still overheats and shuts down. it's got great suction power, however it shuts down to overheating after 25-30 min. All filters were clear and it was getting air and still overheated. What's the point of the battery life if it shuts down at 70 battery life left!? I will probably return and buy a Dyson unless issue resolved today

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the Shark, you simply put it back in its dock and whoosh! It’s gone. It's very effective at cleaning the vacuum bin. Shark claims that the bin has a capacity of up to 45 days' worth of debris. It's so much more convenient to manually empty a bin once every few weeks instead of every few minutes. It clicks neatly in and out of place and is easy to empty. The controls are all on the handle and are pretty straightforward. Besides the power button, you can choose between three different floor types (hard floor, carpet / low pile, thick carpet / area rug) as well as an auto detect mode. Also connected to the handle is the hose, which unclasps and is just a couple feet in length at full extension. If you want to use one of the attachment tools, you would unclasp the hose and attach one of the tools to use them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great vacuum! It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and isn’t too loud. For it to be small, the suction power is large. The vacuum detects how much dirt and debris is in an area and will use more or less power depending on what it needs. The darkest shade of purple suggests there’s more dirt and when the light is solid white, it’s dirt free. The docking station automatically cleans the dust container which is really helpful. It also charges the battery which gives around 45 mins at full battery. I’m getting rid of my other vacuum and using this as the main!
