Customer reviews for Bissell PowerClean FurFinder Corded Stick Vacuum with FurFinder Headlights forA Decent Vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean FurFinder Corded vacuum is a good vacuum, but not a great one. The Bissell PowerClean FurFinder Corded vacuum performs well when it comes to pet fur, long hair, crumbs, leaves and such tracked in from outside. But I wouldn’t say that its power or performance was anything outstanding. The vacuum does have many nice features, such as lights to illuminate the floor to see any debris, the ability to stand on its own, the lightweight design, and a long cord. The lights are so helpful to ensure a spot isn’t missed! And the long cord and ability for the vacuum to be free standing is so helpful as you move from room to room or move furniture. My favorite feature of this vacuum was the face it was lightweight, making it easy to handle like a cordless vacuum, but not having to worry about battery power running out or impacting performance. Overall, it’s a good vacuum. It does the job well and is a good value for the price.
Thank you for your thoughtful review, Erin! We’re glad to hear the PowerClean® FurFinder™ is handling pet hair and everyday messes well, and that features like the headlights, long cord, and self‑standing design are making cleanup easier. We appreciate your honest perspective on performance and value—it’s feedback like this that helps us continue improving our machines for busy households.
The almost perfect vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I call this vacuum the almost perfect vacuum for my needs. I've owned many vacuums before and this one is by far the one I would recommend to a friend. I own a two story house with upstairs being all carpet and downstairs all wood floor. In this house also live 3 little dogs and 2 messy kids. I basically have to vacuum every day or else the house is covered in dirt, random leaves and crumbs. This vacuum first off is very light for everyday use. The cord is very long so I don't have to constantly change outlets to get around different rooms. It felt a little flimsy when I first tried to stand it up but it has not fallen down once and it takes up so little space in the house. I love that I wind the cord up at the top and not towards the bottom because I feel like bending over doing that gives me a backache. I love the built in light function because I didn't know how much dust was all over the floor. The switch from low to hi suction is also very smooth with a touch of a button and the high suction is strong enough that I can suck in the debris that surrounds the baseboard of the house. I also love that it basically goes flat so I can get underneath my cabinets and chairs and tables. Now having gushed over all the positives, there were couple things I did not like about the vacuum. I felt like bigger debris definitely had to be sucked up using the hi suction and the vacuum does get a little hotter if you keep using it at that level. Also this one is minor but I didn't like the placement of the power and the hi/low change button. I feel like it should have been swapped because when I'm vacuuming I keep pressing the wrong button. But overall, this is a very light and small vacuum that can handle hard floors as well as carpet with no issue. It does a fantastic job picking up small debris, dog hair and crumbs off the floor and at the end of the day it fits into a small nook in my closet and doesn't take up much room. 5 out of 5 in my opinion.
Pet Hair Pro
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With two shedding dogs, plus our children, we vacuum quite frequently. I was skeptical of how something so small would do with dog hair, but I have been very impressed! I have several great Bissell products so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. The PowerClean FurFinder handled our everyday pet hair and crumbs with ease. I love that it has headlights to help see when vacuuming under couches or tables. It comes with 3 attachments that are especially helpful when cleaning furniture or the stairs, which are typically more difficult to clean. It could do a little better on area rugs. I like the self standing feature and my favorite part is that the top chamber comes off to use like a handheld vacuum with the attachments. Overall, very lightweight, convenient, and effective. I would definitely recommend!
Great for getting under tight spaces
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To preface, I have two long hair cats that shed a lot as well as the majority of my home being hard flooring. First impression was it is very small space friendly. Doesn't take up a lot of space and it’s easy to store. However, the self standing feature is a bit wobbly because of the weight of the main frame where the handle is. It is more top heavy so it doesn’t feel as sturdy and can be knocked over easily. As for the suction feature I was impressed! The suction power is pretty good considering the size of the vacuum. I have to vacuum everyday because my two long haired cats and toddler track litter, cat hair and crumbs all over the floor. This honestly has been my go to for quick clean ups and it gets extra brownie points for the built in head lights! My favorite thing about this vacuum is the fact that it can get under small, tight spaces very easily and it has a long cord! This can easily get under beds! The cord is a bit of a pain to wrap up since its so long but it beats having to unplug it and plug it in again to vacuum another part of the house. Overall I am very happy and impressed. This has been my new go to for quick clean up on hard floors!
A Game Changer For Busy Homes With Pets
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll be honest, when I first received this vacuum, I was a little bummed because I had just vacuumed my house. But I decided to try it anyway, and I was honestly shocked at how much dirt and pet hair it still picked up. The built-in headlights literally called out everything I missed, and it was kind of crazy (and satisfying) to watch it all disappear. The headlights are probably one of my favorite features. They make you want to keep vacuuming because you can actually see every little bit of dirt, especially in spots you’d normally overlook. And the self-standing design…wow. I have limited space, so being able to just stand it anywhere without leaning it against something or installing a holder is a huge plus. I used to have a cordless stick vacuum, and the most frustrating part was the battery dying before I could finish cleaning. With this one being corded, I can clean my whole house without stopping and still enjoy all the benefits of a stick vacuum. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, quick to use, and super easy to store. I also love the color and overall design. The dirt container looked small at first, but it actually holds a lot, even with dog hair, cat hair, and kids making messes all day. The suction is great, and it handles everything really well. Overall, I genuinely love everything about this vacuum and would definitely recommend it, especially for busy households with pets and kids.
Bissell furfinder with cord
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This handheld/stick vacuum with cord is a powerful thing! I loved the lightweight handling and the cord is long enough that I can reach to most areas of the first floor without having to unplug. It came with a bag of extra tool attachments and I love the power head that really helps clean carpet. The cleaning of the head is easy as well as it pops out! The canister holds a good amount of dust before needing emptying. Very powerful and portable.
Convenient and easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a mom of two young kids, one of whom tends to leave a trail of crumbs whenever she eats. I have found the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder Corded incredibly convenient for a quick clean up after a snack or meal. With the ability to remove the extension my kids are able to use the vacuum by themselves, and they think that it is fun having a vacuum their size. I was impressed with how well it picked up the popcorn mess off my carpet and how handy the lighted head is for when I vacuum under my dining table. My 5 year old was even able to vacuum the stairs on his own. I have really long hair so I have to clean the roller brush on vacuums almost every time I use one. The way the power head is designed on this PowerClean FurFinder it's a breeze to clean the hair off and clean. I was also impressed with the length of the cord, with the lightweight design I expected it to be much shorter but I was able to get to multiple rooms without having to unplug it, which is a must when you have crumb trails throughout the house. I still need my larger vacuum for the deeper cleaning but this is a time saver for all of the little messes throughout the day.
Excellent for Everyday Cleaning
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having used several kinds of stick and traditional vacuums on my wood kitchen flooring, I found them to be not as effective as I had hoped. The traditional ones had power, but often were too large to get between chair legs and other obstacles easily. The stick vacuums I've tried have all been cordless, which was handy at times, but a pain when they'd have consistently low batteries or would die mid-job. However, this hybrid (stick vacuum, but with a cord) has allowed enough power to be delivered while still keeping my vacuum cleaner light and easy to use. As you can see from my pictures, it handled the everyday crumbs (like toast crumbs) with ease on the hard surfaces, and can even tackle larger items (like whole almonds and cough drops wrappers) on my carpet. (The lighter dots in my picture were yogurt drops from that morning that will require a mop to clean.) The self-standing design is helpful during the cleaning process, but the vacuum doesn't have enough weight versus its height to make it practical to leave standing, especially since I have young children running around. I do store it in a closet. Thankfully, it doesn't take up much space, so allowing it to lean up against a corner isn't a problem. Though the cord is generously long, allowing me to vacuum several rooms without switching outlets, it all can be wrapped up easily on the cord storage hooks, which is very much appreciated. The lights can be very helpful when vacuuming in a low light situation, or in the evening when I don't feel like turning on the overhead lights, though on some surfaces, the light can cause a bit of a glare. It is useful for vacuuming underneath furniture, and the head of the vacuum is short enough that it can reach farther under my couches than my traditional vacuum. This vacuum truly delivers the best of both worlds: power that doesn't require a recharge and a lightweight design that allows for moving it easily throughout the house.
New Favorite Vacuum with Kids
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean FurFinder Corded vacuum handled all kinds of messes in my house. From pet messes to kids spilling dry ramen all over the floor everything cleaned up with ease. I was impressed with how the vacuum was able to handle larger pieces of dry ramen noodles as well. I loved how not only did the vacuum do a great job at picking up messing the self standing design made pausing mid vacuum to tend to my kiddos needs with easy. As a mom of three rarely does a chore or any task get completed without an interruption and this made those pauses easy! The headlights on the vacuum helped me find little debrief and pet hair with ease to make sure all was caught and off my floors! Overall I loved that the suction was strong and that with the self standing design I could pause and resume with ease. I would highly recommend this vacuum!
Excellent Little Vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I opened my box for this vacuum, I put it to work. It was a straightforward process connecting the stick to the vacuum body. It is small and stands upright which makes it easy to keep in a corner of my closet. There are two modes - light and heavy which differ based on what floor type you're vacuuming. I have a lot of wood and ceramic floors so the heavy duty setting is great for it - with my rugs I turn it to the light mode so it doesn't suck up the rug and cause issues. The vacuum knows if it's the wrong kind of setting for the rug because it will blink and pause urging you to turn it off and restart, which I think is brilliant so your don't ruin your vacuum! I have tons of pet hair and messes from children and this vacuum sucks it up like a breeze. My favorite feature is the light! I am able to see under spots I normally don't pay attention to, and since the vacuum is a small sleek design, it fits under hard to reach areas. This corded vacuum makes cleanup easy and my floors are looking good!
