Customer reviews for Bissell PowerClean FurFinder Corded Stick Vacuum with FurFinder Headlights forLove it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With 3 dogs, 2 kids, and construction in our home, it was the perfect time to put a new vacuum to the test and wow, did this one exceed my expectations. I think the most impressive features are the suction and the headlight. It easily handled messes that my previous vacuum struggled to pick up and with only a single pass versus the many I was having to take with the other one. The headlight covered a wide area and even with the lights off, I could see clearly. I also really liked that the provided attachments came in their own bag for easy storage, and there was a wide variety of them making the unit very versatile. While I typically prefer a cordless vacuum, this one does such an amazing job that it's now the one I use the most!
Great Vacuum for Dog Hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an opportunity to test this vacuum out and as someone who has 4 dogs including 2 huskies, I would do almost anything to keep my home clean! I really enjoyed this vacuum. It does a great job at picking up pet hair and the light included is very helpful! I was able to see all the pet hair very clearly. One of huskies is white and her fur is hard to see on my white flooring so I appreciated that. It was even able to handle some dog food pieces that fell out of my dog’s bowls as they ate. I also really enjoyed the attachments it comes with. I used the small nozzle to get in between my dog’s cages where it can be sometimes really hard for me to reach. It picked everything up nicely. I even let my oldest try it out and they loved it. It’s light weight and the cord doesn’t not really hold it back. It’s really easy to carry around the house and it has a nice stand up feature that was useful for me when I would go to unplug it I was actually really surprised at how strong the suction on it was as it’s not the biggest vacuum I’ve owned before. If I could change anything it would just be the debris housing size. Maybe it’s because I have 4 dogs but after getting in between their cages I noticed it would get full quickly, however I was still able to finish most of the room. Overall I really like this vacuum and I am looking forward to continue cleaning with it!
We’re so glad the PowerClean® FurFinder™ is helping keep up with all that dog hair, and that the headlights, strong suction, and attachments made cleaning easier around your home. We appreciate your feedback on the debris bin size—homes with multiple pets may need more frequent emptying, and we’ll be sure to share your insight with our product team. Family Friendly Sleek and Strong Vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is a great asset for keeping our floors clean. I am a mom to four kids under six years old, so we have a lot of crumbs and debris to clean up on a daily basis. This vacuum has been a game changer for tackling our daily messes. We have area rugs, hardwood floors, and some carpeted area in our basement. I love that I can easily vacuum from room to room with ease. Three of my four kids are girls, so we have a lot of hair. Our other vacuum's brush roll would often get tangled up with hair. This vacuum has already been out performing our previous corded vacuum. One of the benefits of this vacuum is the sleek design. It stands upright without needing additional wall attachments. I can tuck it in our coat closet or off to the side of a room with little disturbance. I love that it is not bulky and can be broken down to be stored in a small space. Right now, I use it multiple times a day, so I love that I can conveniently access it right out of our office. This vacuum excels in its sleek design, suction power, and illumination. I didn't realize how much fine dust was accumulating under our couches. I find the light is so helpful to get those spots that often get overlooked. Another feature I love is the crevice tool. I can easily change out the brush roll with the step of my foot. The crevice tool has been perfect for baseboards, tight corners, and under cabinets. Overall, I don't mind having a cord to plug in. It extends up to thirty feet which has been plenty for rooms in our ranch style house. The suction power is much greater having a cord, and I'm grateful I don't need to charge a battery. The one thing I would change would be the debris canister. I had a little bit of difficulty reattaching it after I frequently empty the container. It clearly filters out the fine dust well, but you have to line up one filter just right before you put it back. I've now had no issues, but it took a few tries to get used to clicking it back in place. What I like most about this vacuum is the powerful suction for its lightweight body. It is sleek, yet has a very strong suction. On its high setting, it has gotten nearly every crumb with one swipe to the area. I also appreciate that while on its lowest setting, it is fairly quiet. For example, it's quiet enough to vacuum in the room next to my sleeping baby. I recently had a cleaner come to do a spring deep clean, and she was impressed with how lightweight the vacuum was. I mentioned previously that we have carpet in our basement, so carrying it up and down stairs is no trouble at just nine pounds in weight. Overall, this vacuum has become a staple in our cleaning routine. I'd absolutely recommend this product for families, with or without pets!
Powerful and Versatile
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our home really asks a lot from a vacuum; we have toddlers, a cat, a dog, and multiple types of flooring including hardwood, plush carpet, thin washable rugs, and tile. Every vacuum we’ve had until this one has fallen short because of the aforementioned. Before I had used the FurFinder for the first time, I had already swept my floors in the morning and vacuumed with our old extremely loud vacuum in the afternoon; when I received the FurFinder, I was too excited to not use it so I intuitively put it together out of the box in 2 minutes (I’m not one for instructions). The amount of dust and crumbs and hair that was illuminated by the bright headlights light was startling, but then when I saw how full the canister was after I finished I was actually shocked and a little disgusted by how much crud my old vacuum had been leaving behind without me even knowing it. Yikes. The suction is great, it picks up fine hair and dust really well, but it also picks up bigger crumbs and snacks like cheerios. I also really love all the attachment options, especially the upholstery attachment because it picks up every dog and cat hair on the couch, which also was shocking to see in the canister! On that note, the canister is kind of small, but I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing - you just have to empty it after each vacuum which is what one should probably be doing anyway. I had some initial hesitation on the corded aspect, but I haven’t had to unplug and plug it into a new outlet to finish a vacuum. The cord length is very generous! A feature that I really love is how quiet it is. I can vacuum during naptime without waking up the little ones, which I could not do with either of my old vacuums. It’s quiet, but still very powerful and versatile! It performs well in literally every single situation I have used it for: every type of flooring in my house, toddler messes, pet messes, baking messes, furniture refreshes. I intend to use the attachments to clean my car this weekend and I don’t anticipate any problems! It’s portable and fairly lightweight, though a bit top-heavy, which makes me uneasy about fully trusting the self-standing function. I could see a toddler running by and brushing it and it falling over, so I keep it in a corner for support. Still, it is not a dealbreaker at all given what an otherwise awesome vacuum it is! The silicone spin brush is awesome and will be so easy to clean as needed, which is so much nicer than trying to wash brush bristles that are tangled with gross hairs and dust. The silicone prettu much squeegees all that stuff up and into the canister it goes. Such an easy vacuum to just pull out to quickly clean up messes as needed or for a full vacuum and I always feel like my home is getting so much cleaner using this vacuum than it ever was before!
Compact and powerful vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a household with three aging huskies, finding a good vacuum is imperative and challenging. I was intrigued by the title " Furfinder" and had high hopes. This vacuum didn't disappoint. The headlights are a great feature! They allow me to see all the hidden fur that can often be missed. The attachments are exactly what I needed for detail work, and hard to reach spots, and the handy storage bag keeps them easily found. I keep the bag hanging from the cord holder when not in use. The cord is so long, it goes really far without needing to be plugged into a different outlet, which I appreciate, as my home is older, and lacking a good amount of outlets. This vacuum is really powerful for a small, lightweight stick vacuum. It picks up all the fur, hair, dust, and even sand that gets tracked in by the dogs and humans. The roller hasn't gotten tangled in hair yet, but it looks to be simple to clear out if it does. I love the free-standing design, so I don't need to attach anything to my walls. My favorite part of this vacuum is how well it picks up fur and dirt- it's truly a powerful vacuum, and isn't heavy or cumbersome, like my previous upright vacuum. It's also quite quiet. The dirt canister does need to be emptied quite frequently, but as I mentioned, I have three senior huskies that shed quite a bit!
A Game Changer For Busy Homes With Pets
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll be honest, when I first received this vacuum, I was a little bummed because I had just vacuumed my house. But I decided to try it anyway, and I was honestly shocked at how much dirt and pet hair it still picked up. The built-in headlights literally called out everything I missed, and it was kind of crazy (and satisfying) to watch it all disappear. The headlights are probably one of my favorite features. They make you want to keep vacuuming because you can actually see every little bit of dirt, especially in spots you’d normally overlook. And the self-standing design…wow. I have limited space, so being able to just stand it anywhere without leaning it against something or installing a holder is a huge plus. I used to have a cordless stick vacuum, and the most frustrating part was the battery dying before I could finish cleaning. With this one being corded, I can clean my whole house without stopping and still enjoy all the benefits of a stick vacuum. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, quick to use, and super easy to store. I also love the color and overall design. The dirt container looked small at first, but it actually holds a lot, even with dog hair, cat hair, and kids making messes all day. The suction is great, and it handles everything really well. Overall, I genuinely love everything about this vacuum and would definitely recommend it, especially for busy households with pets and kids.
Great little vacuum that is perfect for pet owner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a mom of two elementary age kids and have two Bernese Mountain Dogs as well as a cat. I can honestly say that I vacuum daily. Between crumbs in the kitchen and dog hair everywhere, to the occasional item left behind (today it was a toothpick), there is always a reason to vacuum. I’ve never used a stick vacuum before and was overall impressed by its ability to pick up pet hair without causing issues in the brush roll. In my experience, regular brush rolls tangle and I have to cut wrapped dog hair out of them after every use. I did not have to with this one. A little bit of hair did get wrapped, but nothing I’m concerned about at all. I love that this vacuum stands on its own and has a regular length cord so I wasn’t fighting with reaching different rooms or it toppling over. The headlights are really bright, which is a must when you’re picking up dog hair that likes to hide in corners. I also like the fact that it’s lightweight, which made doing my stairs a lot easier than when I take out my beast of a regular vacuum. The upholstery attachment worked very well for my couch, which inevitably always has hair on it, even though my dogs are not allowed up there! The fact that the vacuum is lightweight and has decent suction made using the upholstery tool so much easier than what I typically have to do to get dog hair off my couch. Huge win there. I have LVP as well as a variety of throw rugs, including shag and those lightweight washable rugs. It worked very well on the washable rug, which I’ve been having trouble with my other vacuum on. It wasn’t fabulous on the deep shag, but did really well on all the other types of throw rugs, including another type of shag. I did have to empty the bin 5 times while vacuuming my main floor. That was not fun. Though, this is meant to be a stick vacuum, and I believe its purpose is not for regular, vacuum-everything usage. I’ll get the beast out for that. What I will use this for is having my young kids help vacuum (they can actually lift this one)! I’ll also continue to use it for my stairs and couch since its maneuverability is so much better than what I usually use. I’ll definitely be tucking this one away in the pantry for quick little mishaps that are bound to happen and the scramble of making sure everything looks nice when I have visitors on short notice!
Great stick vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum handles everyday messes like pet hair, crumbs, and larger debris with ease! When our puppy decided to steal and crush a dozen Easter cascarones, it picked up the large egg shell pieces and small, sticky pieces of confetti with absolutely no problem on both hardwood and carpet. This is compared with the cord free version of the same vacuum, which kept getting jammed. Definitely a stronger motor/greater suction! And the cord is long enough that we're able to vacuum the entirety of our 2,000 sqft first floor with only needing to move the plug once. The built-in headlights are very useful in helping to illuminate all manner of debris that you wouldn't see normally---pet hair, dust bunnies, fine dirt, etc. However, they're only really useful if there's no overhead lighting on at the same time since it would overpower the headlights. Overall, this is a great stick vacuum with a lot of power and good suction! I would highly recommend it as an everyday option.
