[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First things first - the box. When the product arrived for testing, we saw it wasn’t just any old box. How cute and clever is it that the company designed the box to turn into a cat cubby?! We don’t have cats so we used it as a treat puzzle for our dog, who loved it. On to the actual product - we think it’s great. The cord on this vacuum is very long, which to us is a huge plus. Our house is around 1200 sq ft per level, and we can vacuum a whole level without having to move the cord if we choose an outlet in the central hallway. Fantastic! The lights clearly illuminate all the crumbs and hair that come with kids and dogs (and a postpartum shedding mom), so we feel confident we’re not missing any spots. We feel it does a better-than-average job of picking up dog hair from our carpeted areas, and we like the two levels of suction so we can easily adapt for hardwoods/tile vs carpet. Absolutely love that the vacuum stands on its own, so we can easily leave it in the middle of a job if said kids or pets are needing immediate attention. And bonus points for the included storage bag, which helps us stay organized and keep all the proper attachments in one place. Now for the things we’d change: the upholstery attachment was just average for us. It’s not bad at all; just not the same level of pet hair clean-up that we experienced with the main vacuum head. We found ourselves having to do multiple passes to get pet hair out of the couch cushions. Our other “complaint” is that none of the attachments reach under our appliances very well. They’re all too thick to fit under the narrow gaps. Not a huge deal as we can use other products to get underneath things if needed, but an absolutely perfect vacuum (for us) would have an attachment for that, too. All in all, this is a great everyday vacuum for us and we reach for it often. It has a lot of great features and performs better than other stick vacuums we’ve owned. Overall we’re very happy with it.

The upholstery tool is probably my favorite part. I used it on our couch and chairs and was honestly a little embarrassed by how much it pulled out. It did a great job lifting hair and dirt that didn’t even look visible at first. I also really like the ability to switch from a stick vacuum to a handheld by removing the wand. That makes it much easier to use on furniture and especially in the car. It’s quick to convert and doesn’t feel like a hassle. Another big plus is the cord length. It’s surprisingly long—honestly not far off from my full-size upright—so I’m not constantly switching outlets while cleaning. That alone makes it much more convenient to use regularly or when moving around from one side of the car to the other. Emptying it is simple too—just a quick dump into the trash without making a mess. The lights on the vacuum head are bright and actually useful, especially for spotting debris in darker areas. A couple of other nice touches: it stands up on its own, which is more convenient than I expected, and all the attachments and the main tube are easy to take on and off. My only small nitpick is that I wish it came with a wall mount or docking station to hold everything, especially the attachments. That said, it does include a storage bag, which is a nice touch and helps keep everything together. Overall, it’s a really practical vacuum that handles everyday cleaning well, especially if you have furniture or a car that needs frequent touch-ups. I find that I’m pulling this out during the week and my larger upright only for full house cleaning. Perfect combo!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean FurFinder Corded Stick Vacuum is lit up and powered up to find and suck up every piece of dirt and fur around the house. Bissell designed a pleasant looking stick vacuum that won't be an eye sore if you're not able to tuck it away out of sight. It also stands up on its own , which I find to be fantastic. It weighs only 9lbs , so it's easy to carry up and down stairs but I did find my arm getting tired while vacuuming when most of the cord is wrapped up on it still. The cord is very long which is appreciated. Less time spent finding another plug to use constantly , although the long cord adds to the weight of the top portion of the vacuum. I also found that due to the cord being so long and with the placement on the hand vacuum , it caused it to fall off easily when in use. I'm surprised at how quiet this vacuum is , and so are my cats. My three cats usually run from a vacuum the second they hear it. So I was amazed to see that none of the cats ran from this one. There are two power modes and even though the high power mode is a little louder , it's quieter than any other vacuum I've used. The low power mode has a good amount of suction while the high power mode has a lot more. On high power mode , I was struggling a little to move the vacuum in a sweeping motion since the suction power is so strong. I was vacuuming a lightweight rug at that time , so changing to low power was needed. While the high power mode worked great on the carpet. Fur finder is a fitting name for this vacuum as the lights on this are so good you don't need to turn on the lights in the house if you don't want. The lights are bright and have a wide coverage area. The motorized tangle free brush works great too. The three extra attachments that come with it , go on and off easily. The three options of use , are handy to have all in one vacuum instead of having three separate vacuums. And when changing from the floor vacuum to the hand vacuum , it's quick and easy. Having the lever slightly wider on the motorized foot would have been helpful though , as it can be slightly difficult to press with the foot as it shows to do in the manual. Emptying the dirt tank is easy but I did find that the manual implied that the tank would make a click sound when reattaching , mine has no click sound but have found it to be secure anyhow. The tank appears as really large but half of it is actually part filter , so it will need to be emptied more often than it actually appears as it would need to be. Cleaning the filter was easy. Unfortunately the second filter is not washable and will need to be replaced every three months as mentioned in the manual. There is a notch on the top of the backside of the hand vacuum , above the cord holder. This notch is not mentioned in the manual and I initially thought it was for a optional wall holder. But it does not come with this additional piece and is not listed as a optional piece for it on the Bissell website. After thinking it over more , I believe this notch to be a cord holder. Either for when not in use or perhaps a solution to the cord falling off while in use. Overall the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder Corded Stick Vacuum is a great addition to my house cleaning tools and I would recommend this stick vacuum to anyone whose looking to buy one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so impressed by this corded FurFinder vacuum! Out of the box it was assembled within minutes and ready to go. The instructions are easy to understand and follow. I use it on rugs, hard flooring, carpets and upholstery and was shocked to see how much dust and dog fur it picked up on the first pass. We previously regularly cleaned with another top-of-the-line cordless vacuum, but clearly it was leaving so much behind. The cord is a great length for our large, open-floor-plan home (4000sq ft), and still feels lightweight, like a cordless vacuum would. I love that I can vacuum my entire house with high-suction, where cordless options run out of battery long before I am done. I was surprised by how sturdy the vacuum is in the self-standing position, even with the added weight of a cord. The dust compartment is easy to empty and replace, and nothing gets caught in the removable roller. A few other things that work great for me— the bright headlights help when vacuuming under furniture and across patterned tile, to make sure I don’t miss anything. The accessories work great for couches, side chairs and narrow crevices. It is the quietest vacuum I’ve owned, which is great for doing chores while kiddos are sleeping! My picture shows what I gathered in the first pass over a 9x12 rug that is regularly vacuumed. As a family with allergies to dust and dander, we really love this vacuum.

I think the most impressive features are the suction and the headlight. It easily handled messes that my previous vacuum struggled to pick up and with only a single pass versus the many I was having to take with the other one. The headlight covered a wide area and even with the lights off, I could see clearly. I also really liked that the provided attachments came in their own bag for easy storage, and there was a wide variety of them making the unit very versatile. While I typically prefer a cordless vacuum, this one does such an amazing job that it's now the one I use the most!

The headlight was bright and helped show what areas still had dust and crumbs. I wish the location of the power and setting buttons would have been swapped - it was more natural for me to push the closer button to me as I was holding the vacuum, so it’d cause it to switch settings when I meant to turn off. Having the higher and lower suction setting wasn’t really necessary for me - with all the pet hair and crumbs in our home, I used the stronger setting every time. The hand held vac had good suction and cleared dog hair pretty well off our couch cushions. The cord was longer than a similar vacuum I have, which was great for covering multiple areas without needing to switch outlets. Emptying the canister was pretty easy as well - it held a decent amount, but seems a bit on the smaller side. Overall, was impressed with the cord length and hand vac features the most!

The mix of tile, hardwood, vinyl flooring and carpets also helped the Bissell FurFinder get a workout right out of the box! The suction is surprisingly strong, pulling hair from along walls and edges, and not having to stop to clear the brush head felt like a miracle in this house. No dusty fingers, no clogs, and no loss of suction! Of course there was the occasional snack explosion, courtesy of the little ones which challenged the Bissel, but nothing I didn't expect. The larger chunks (~3/4") gave it the hardest time or couldn't be picked up at all. It seamlessly moved from carpet to hardwood to tile, even picking up cat food along baseboards. I assumed a stick vacuum wouldn't be able to stand on its own, but not once has it fallen over. It's well balanced and much more convenient to grab and store quickly. There's a hidden perk to not having a dock stationed on the wall or a vacuum hanging out in the open that makes you realize just how much more versatile storing something can be. The dust container appeared small, which initially worried me, but it actually holds more than expected. The cord is extremely long and allows me to move freely between bedrooms, hallways or the main living area swiftly, without constantly stopping to change outlets. This makes cleaning quicker and more efficient, which allows extra me time. The accessories are easy to swap and expand what you can clean. I was able to clean the house, the car, outdoor rugs and finally removed a cobweb that's been living rent free in our living room since Christmas. The crevice tool and wand extension make it very easy for anyone to get into hard to reach places, the dusting attachment allowed me to clean the blinds, and the upholstery tool made it easy to clean King George's Kitty Kastle. Even my 3 year old was able to vacuum on his own after we broke the vacuum down to just the motor and roller. I couldn't tell who was happier about it, me or him! The built in headlights also showed me what I was missing out on, literally and figurately. They highlighted messes I missed on both carpet and hard floors and made it easy to clean up rooms during naps or night time without disrupting anyone. Overall I love how versatile this vacuum is for everyone in my house to use. Heavy, bulky vacuums were never a favorite but I would prefer it over cordless vacuums that die often or don't give the same suction power. This really feels like the best of both, giving compact AND powerful; and the LO setting works great for area rugs that usually make my vacuums panic and stop working. My only complaint is that the dust cup occasionally sticks. Forcing it open can cause spills and more cleaning, but I can adjust. This is a powerful, convenient, user friendly vacuum that I would highly recommend to those with kids, pets, several floor types... or Rapunzel herself. Daily messes become much less stressful with the right tools.
