Customer reviews for Bissell PowerClean FurFinder Corded Stick Vacuum with FurFinder Headlights forLightweight and Effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean FurFinder (Corded) is wonderful. With 2 little kids and my postpartum hair loss, I feel like I’m always sweeping and vacuuming! This vacuum is so lightweight. It has been great for everyday messes. It’s light so it doesn’t feel like a huge chore when I have to bring it out for a quick clean. Crumbs, sand, and hair are vacuumed up the first time. My other vacuum required going over it a couple times to get all of it. We have hardwood and carpet, it is very effective with both! I love that it is easy to maneuver. I can easily go under the table and around toys. The light on the front is so helpful. It really makes hair and crumbs visible which I appreciate so I know that I got it all and won’t be stepping on another crumb as soon as I put the vacuum away. The self standing design is nice. Vacuuming is something that often flares up my lower back pain so not having to keep bending to pick it up is a really nice feature. Again, the light weight aspect helps a ton with that too. We have 2 stories so it being easy to carry is a huge bonus. I highly recommend the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder Corded!
Great Performance but Handle Needs Improvement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is a solid vacuum that performs really well for everyday use. It handles pet hair, crumbs, and general debris without any issues, and the suction is strong enough that I don’t feel like I have to go over the same spot multiple times. One feature I didn’t expect to care about as much as I do is the self-standing design. It’s actually very convenient when you need to pause mid-clean without leaning it against something. The cord length is also great. I can cover my entire one-bedroom apartment without constantly switching outlets, which makes a big difference. The built-in headlights are surprisingly useful. They really highlight dust, hair, and debris on the floor, especially in lower light areas, so you can clearly see what needs attention. The only downside, and it’s a noticeable one, is the handle. There’s a seam where it looks like the handle was welded together, and that line digs into my fingers while vacuuming. It got uncomfortable enough that I had to wrap tape around it just to keep using it comfortably. Aside from that issue, it’s a strong vacuum and does its job very well. I’d recommend it, but the handle design could definitely be improved.
Thank you for sharing your experience with the BISSELL PowerClean® FurFinder™ Corded Stick Vacuum! We’re glad to hear the suction, headlights, cord length, and self‑standing design are making everyday cleaning easier. We appreciate you calling out the handle seam discomfort; we’ve shared this feedback with our product team for future improvements. If you’d like additional assistance or options, our team is always happy to help at bissell.com/support.
Love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First things first - the box. When the product arrived for testing, we saw it wasn’t just any old box. How cute and clever is it that the company designed the box to turn into a cat cubby?! We don’t have cats so we used it as a treat puzzle for our dog, who loved it. On to the actual product - we think it’s great. The cord on this vacuum is very long, which to us is a huge plus. Our house is around 1200 sq ft per level, and we can vacuum a whole level without having to move the cord if we choose an outlet in the central hallway. Fantastic! The lights clearly illuminate all the crumbs and hair that come with kids and dogs (and a postpartum shedding mom), so we feel confident we’re not missing any spots. We feel it does a better-than-average job of picking up dog hair from our carpeted areas, and we like the two levels of suction so we can easily adapt for hardwoods/tile vs carpet. Absolutely love that the vacuum stands on its own, so we can easily leave it in the middle of a job if said kids or pets are needing immediate attention. And bonus points for the included storage bag, which helps us stay organized and keep all the proper attachments in one place. Now for the things we’d change: the upholstery attachment was just average for us. It’s not bad at all; just not the same level of pet hair clean-up that we experienced with the main vacuum head. We found ourselves having to do multiple passes to get pet hair out of the couch cushions. Our other “complaint” is that none of the attachments reach under our appliances very well. They’re all too thick to fit under the narrow gaps. Not a huge deal as we can use other products to get underneath things if needed, but an absolutely perfect vacuum (for us) would have an attachment for that, too. All in all, this is a great everyday vacuum for us and we reach for it often. It has a lot of great features and performs better than other stick vacuums we’ve owned. Overall we’re very happy with it.
Lightweight and Heavy Duty Vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm thrilled that I got to try the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder in exchange for a review from Stellar Panel. This vacuum is so lightweight that I can carry it with one hand up and down the stairs in my home! Having such a lightweight and easy to maneuver vacuum helps me not dread vacuuming duty so much! This vacuum is great at cleaning up heavy messes on the carpet and really gets all of the cat hair in all of the corners of my home. Even though the tank in the vacuum isn't huge it is so easy to empty as needed with no mess. This vacuum is great for anyone with pets and kids like me who needs a lightweight and easy to use vacuum that actually works.
Lightweight and quiet for everyday cleaning
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell PowerClean FurFinder Corded Vacuum is a solid, no-frills vacuum. On performance, the suction is strong; it handles standard carpets and hard floors really well, with especially good pickup on hard surfaces. On low-pile rugs, pet hair comes up easily, though you’ll get the best results with a couple of passes. It does struggle a bit more on shaggier rugs, where hair tends to stay more embedded. I loved the light feature - it was my first experience with it and I would it useful to get all the bits. Would love it if the light were warmer in hue. I was less impressed with the attachment experience. While it’s nice that it comes with a storage bag, it’s not particularly practical—some tools don’t fit well, and there’s no built-in way to store attachments directly on the vacuum. Swapping tools also isn’t as intuitive as it could be, which makes quick transitions a little clunky. That said, the overall usability is a strong point. It’s very lightweight, easy to push and pull, and steers smoothly around furniture. It’s also noticeably quieter than higher-end vacuums, which makes a real difference for everyday use—especially in a busy household. Build quality felt more functional than premium. It does feel somewhat plasticky, but not fragile—just not something that gives you that “this will last forever” feeling.
We’re glad you’re enjoying the lightweight, quieter performance and strong pickup on hard floors and low‑pile rugs with the PowerClean® FurFinder™ Corded Stick Vacuum. For thicker rugs, a couple of slower passes can help improve pet hair pickup, and we appreciate your feedback on attachment storage and the LED light tone. Bissell FurFinder great for pets and wool rugs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder Corded vacuum for everyday cleaning, and it’s been a reliable and practical option—especially for a home with pets. Even though I had a non-shedding doodle, I notice that this vacuum picks up my hair (I shed a lot!) and shedding from my wool rugs. For everyday messes, it handles things like pet hair (my hair!), wool clothes/rugs, crumbs, and even slightly larger debris surprisingly well. The suction is consistent (one of the biggest perks of it being corded), so it doesn’t lose power mid-clean like some cordless vacuums. Pet hair on hard floors and low-pile wool rugs comes up easily, and the FurFinder tool does a great job pulling hair off furniture. For larger debris like small food pieces or tracked-in dirt (also have a messy toddler!), it performs well, though you may need to go over thicker carpet a couple of times. The self-standing design is a standout feature. It’s incredibly convenient to be able to pause cleaning and have the vacuum stand upright on its own without leaning it against a wall. This makes quick cleanups much easier, especially when you’re multitasking or cleaning around kids or pets. It’s also helpful since the dust bin collection is smaller so it’s nice that it’s able to stand while emptying the dust bin. The built-in headlights are more useful than expected. They really help illuminate dust, pet hair, wool debris, and crumbs that aren’t obvious in normal lighting—especially under furniture or along baseboards. It definitely makes it easier to do a more thorough clean without missing hidden debris. What I like most about this vacuum is the balance of simplicity and effectiveness. It’s lightweight, easy to grab for quick messes, and doesn’t require worrying about charging or battery life (it’s corded!). The consistent suction and pet-focused design make it especially useful for daily maintenance cleaning rather than heavy-duty deep cleans. Overall, it’s a great choice if you want something straightforward, effective for pet hair, and convenient for everyday use.
Worth It
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked how easy this vacuum was to set up. I was able to figure it out without even looking at the instructions, which I always appreciate. The suction is really good and it picked up pet hair, crumbs, and everyday messes so well. I have two big dogs and four kids, so there is always something on the floor, and this handled it like a champ. This is honestly my favorite part because it picks up a lot more debris and pet hair than I expected. It worked best for me on carpet and even did a great job vacuuming the couch and other upholstered areas. I also loved how lightweight it is because that made it easy to carry around the house without feeling heavy or bulky. One thing I really liked was how simple it was to empty the canister. Dumping out the dirt and hair was quick and not messy, which is a big plus for me. I also liked how easy it was to take apart and switch over to the attachments when I needed to clean furniture or smaller spaces. I also love that it is corded. I never have to wait for it to charge, which makes cleaning faster and easier for my busy days. Another thing I really liked is that it stands up on its own. I do not have to lean it on anything or take it apart, which makes it super convenient when I need to pause and chase after my kids for a second. The built in lights are also a great touch. They really help you see dust and pet hair in those darker or hard to reach areas. The only things I did not love were that the attachments are stored in a separate bag instead of on the vacuum itself, and it did not work quite as well on hard floors. Overall, I would definitely recommend this vacuum, especially for homes with more carpet, pets, and kids. It is simple to use, lightweight, and makes cleaning up everyday chaos a lot easier.
Good mid range vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissel PowerClean FurFinder is a great option for a mid range corded vacuum. The suction is powerful enough to handle every day messes and pet hair, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much the seemingly small canister held. I was able to do our entire main floor without stopping, which wasn’t possible with our previous option. I found myself using the higher power suction option for most messes, but we do have multiple indoor cats and a very hairy Pyrenees dog. The self standing design worked very well and is helpful, but it is not as sturdy as a conventional corded vacuum. I have used that feature when untangling a cord or moving around things, but my children could easily topple it with running around if it wasn’t put away. My favorite feature of this vacuum is the headlights! I was horrified at the level of hair and dust on our floors… it feels so nice to actually be able to see and know it is clean! The accessories are great for doing stairs, baseboards, and upholstery. My only complaint is cord tangles, but honestly the trade off of not being bound to a battery and suction power is worth it.
Fur babies be gone
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder mainly for pet hair and general cleanup, but it’s been more impressive than I expected. The upholstery tool is probably my favorite part. I used it on our couch and chairs and was honestly a little embarrassed by how much it pulled out. It did a great job lifting hair and dirt that didn’t even look visible at first. I also really like the ability to switch from a stick vacuum to a handheld by removing the wand. That makes it much easier to use on furniture and especially in the car. It’s quick to convert and doesn’t feel like a hassle. Another big plus is the cord length. It’s surprisingly long—honestly not far off from my full-size upright—so I’m not constantly switching outlets while cleaning. That alone makes it much more convenient to use regularly or when moving around from one side of the car to the other. Emptying it is simple too—just a quick dump into the trash without making a mess. The lights on the vacuum head are bright and actually useful, especially for spotting debris in darker areas. A couple of other nice touches: it stands up on its own, which is more convenient than I expected, and all the attachments and the main tube are easy to take on and off. My only small nitpick is that I wish it came with a wall mount or docking station to hold everything, especially the attachments. That said, it does include a storage bag, which is a nice touch and helps keep everything together. Overall, it’s a really practical vacuum that handles everyday cleaning well, especially if you have furniture or a car that needs frequent touch-ups. I find that I’m pulling this out during the week and my larger upright only for full house cleaning. Perfect combo!
Great if you are on a budget
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this vacuum on both hardwoods and carpet in a house with 4 cats and a baby doing tummy time in the midst of all the cat hair. While it doesn’t have as much suction power as a Dyson, it also isn’t going to break the bank like one. I enjoyed that the cord is super long and it had a good management system so it wasn’t in my way when using. I plugged it in downstairs and was able to vacuum all the way upstairs and the hallway upstairs without needing to move where I was plugged in at. Being able to have it stand upright when I walked away in a hurry was also a big plus. The lights were helpful as I have both black and white cats and sometimes the hair of one cat doesn’t show up well depending on the type of flooring. It came with 3 different attachements to be used, but I personally only found the tight space one useful. I don’t think this vacuum would be good at cleaning a cat tree, but it’ll get the job done well on your floors without breaking your back or your bank.
