Customer reviews for Bissell PowerClean FurFinder Corded Stick Vacuum with FurFinder Headlights forCompact and powerful vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a household with three aging huskies, finding a good vacuum is imperative and challenging. I was intrigued by the title " Furfinder" and had high hopes. This vacuum didn't disappoint. The headlights are a great feature! They allow me to see all the hidden fur that can often be missed. The attachments are exactly what I needed for detail work, and hard to reach spots, and the handy storage bag keeps them easily found. I keep the bag hanging from the cord holder when not in use. The cord is so long, it goes really far without needing to be plugged into a different outlet, which I appreciate, as my home is older, and lacking a good amount of outlets. This vacuum is really powerful for a small, lightweight stick vacuum. It picks up all the fur, hair, dust, and even sand that gets tracked in by the dogs and humans. The roller hasn't gotten tangled in hair yet, but it looks to be simple to clear out if it does. I love the free-standing design, so I don't need to attach anything to my walls. My favorite part of this vacuum is how well it picks up fur and dirt- it's truly a powerful vacuum, and isn't heavy or cumbersome, like my previous upright vacuum. It's also quite quiet. The dirt canister does need to be emptied quite frequently, but as I mentioned, I have three senior huskies that shed quite a bit!
Great for Pet Hair and Busy Family Life
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found that the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder handled everyday messes really well, especially with pets and kids in the house. It picked up pet hair, crumbs, and even larger debris without much effort, and I didn’t have to keep going over the same areas. It also transitioned smoothly between hard floors and carpet, which made it really practical for moving from room to room without stopping to adjust anything. The self-standing design was really convenient and one of my favorite features. I could pause in the middle of cleaning to deal with kids or something else without having to lean it against anything or worry about it falling over. The built-in headlights were just okay to me. It was simply a light, and I didn’t notice any real difference when it came to finding hidden pet hair or debris. What I liked most about this vacuum is how easy and reliable it is for everyday use. With pets and kids, I need something that works quickly and doesn’t add extra steps, and this vacuum delivered on that. It handled different surfaces well and made daily cleaning feel a lot more manageable.
Perfect for Families
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used other stick vacuums, but they are usually heavy and don’t have a battery that lasts long enough to finish a job. The Bissell Fur Finder has the power needed to get the job done! Being a corded stick vacuum is a game changer. The standing design is convenient when moving from mess to mess. I had no trouble using this vacuum to pick up everyday messes, all of the golden retriever hair, and kid crumbs around our house. The headlight was very helpful in finding messes and ensuring that everything was picked up swiftly. The number one thing I love most about this vacuum is that it is lightweight and easy to use. So easy, in fact, my 7 year old is able to use it to clean the floor in her bedroom with no issues. It has quickly become the family favorite and gets regular use around the house every single day.
The Cord Brings The Power
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two reasons I specifically wanted a corded vacuum are 1) more power and 2) longer vacuuming time. This corded Bissell vacuum is a rockstar on power. It pulled up carpet cat hair my previous battery-powered vacuum could never dream of, and the headlight is an added bonus I didn't even know I needed. No longer can crumbs escape under the edge of my kitchen cabinets! Even though the roller brush doesn't always get into the corners, it's a really simple switch to pop the handle off and attach the crevice tool thanks to a foot-step latch release. Longer vacuuming time is less of a win, because the dirt container is comically small. While I was hugely disappointed on sight, it hasn't turned out to be as problematic in practice as I expected. I do have to stop more frequently to empty it, but the vacuum stands upright on its own wherever I leave it without toppling over, and the container itself is much easier to open and empty than my previous vacuum. There's no twisting and unlocking and wrestling when it's got just enough dust to get jammed up. This one slides open in one pull, empties with a couple of taps, and settles straight back in. Then I'm back on my way with a fresh and empty receptacle, so I feel more confident that the suction power is at its most effective. Still, I would have loved to have more capacity to combine with the cord. Other things I like: -Sturdy. The heft was the first thing I noticed out of the box. Super solid while still being light enough to carry around with one hand. -Long cord. And with the cord-wrap at the top rather than the bottom or middle, I can easily wind it up while upright. -Two power modes. Low is plenty for hard floors or short rugs, and it's surprisingly easy on the ears.
Thanks for the great review, Christi! We’re glad the PowerClean® FurFinder™ Corded Stick Vacuum delivered the strong suction and visibility you were looking for. Emptying the dust cup more often can help keep performance at its best during longer cleanups, and we appreciate your feedback on capacity. The almost perfect vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I call this vacuum the almost perfect vacuum for my needs. I've owned many vacuums before and this one is by far the one I would recommend to a friend. I own a two story house with upstairs being all carpet and downstairs all wood floor. In this house also live 3 little dogs and 2 messy kids. I basically have to vacuum every day or else the house is covered in dirt, random leaves and crumbs. This vacuum first off is very light for everyday use. The cord is very long so I don't have to constantly change outlets to get around different rooms. It felt a little flimsy when I first tried to stand it up but it has not fallen down once and it takes up so little space in the house. I love that I wind the cord up at the top and not towards the bottom because I feel like bending over doing that gives me a backache. I love the built in light function because I didn't know how much dust was all over the floor. The switch from low to hi suction is also very smooth with a touch of a button and the high suction is strong enough that I can suck in the debris that surrounds the baseboard of the house. I also love that it basically goes flat so I can get underneath my cabinets and chairs and tables. Now having gushed over all the positives, there were couple things I did not like about the vacuum. I felt like bigger debris definitely had to be sucked up using the hi suction and the vacuum does get a little hotter if you keep using it at that level. Also this one is minor but I didn't like the placement of the power and the hi/low change button. I feel like it should have been swapped because when I'm vacuuming I keep pressing the wrong button. But overall, this is a very light and small vacuum that can handle hard floors as well as carpet with no issue. It does a fantastic job picking up small debris, dog hair and crumbs off the floor and at the end of the day it fits into a small nook in my closet and doesn't take up much room. 5 out of 5 in my opinion.
Great everyday vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Genuinely curious where this vacuum has been all my life. I have been sweeping my hardwood floors like an 1800’s pioneer woman for far too long. I guess I didn’t know what I was missing. The Bissell PowerClean FurFinder is perfect for everyday messes that you need to quickly clean up. I have been able to easily suck up pet hair, skittles, glitter, small legos, dog toy stuffing, mulch and just about any other mess dogs/kids can make. It does struggle to pick up larger things, like a big piece of mulch or a large wrapper, but overall the suction power is great. The self standing design is so convenient. You can stop vacuuming and leave the vacuum right where it stands, without worrying it’s going to fall over and ding the walls. I love that the vacuum is corded because I really think that strengthens suction power compared to battery operated vacuums. The headlights are 10/10. I honestly do not think I could purchase another vacuum that did not have headlights. It’s shocking all of the pet hair and crumbs I would miss without it. I am also impressed with how versatile this vacuum is. You can use it for big messes, or make it a handheld vacuum for little messes. It comes with many different attachments that allow you to customize the vacuum based on the mess. It even comes with a bag to hold said attachments. This Bissell is great on carpet and hardwood, although I prefer it on the hardwood. It’s versatile and convenient making it a great every day vacuum for everyday messes.
Pleasantly Surprised with orded Stick Vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum did very well handling daily messes that happen in a house of kids and pets. It sucked up most everything in its path on the first swipe. The headlights really help being able to see all the debris that would otherwise be missed. I was truly surprised at how well this vacuum worked on both wispy pet hair and larger leaves/debris. I usually use a cordless vacuum, but I actually like the corded aspect of this one. I don't have to worry about a dying battery or trying to rush to finish. The cord is plenty long enough to do a big room. I also appreciate the self-standing design. I cringe everytime I let my other non-self-standing vacuum crash to the floor. I want to comment on how quiet this vacuum is compared to my previous one. It's still a vacuum sound, of course, but it's noticeably quieter. The Lo setting lets me do my washable two-piece rugs whereas the Hi setting lets me do my carpet. I take off one star because the design of the vacuum won't allow me to get under some of my furniture that I am used to being able to vacuum. It's not a deal breaker because the included tools can help me get into those areas. I prefer the corded design compared to a cordless vacuum with a short battery life anyday!
Great Suction Perfect for Pet Homes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been really impressed with the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder Corded—it’s quickly become my go-to everyday vacuum. It handled everyday messes like pet hair, crumbs, and larger debris incredibly well. The suction is stronger than I expected for its size—it was actually pulling up my rugs a bit! It easily picked up both our short, coarse lab mix fur and our long husky fur without any of that frustrating wrap around the beater bar. It also tackled the constant crumbs from my toddlers in the kitchen and around the dining table with no problem. On top of that, it’s super easy to maneuver and has a really long cord, which makes cleaning larger areas much more convenient. The self-standing design is a small feature that makes a big difference. It’s so convenient to be able to let it stand on its own instead of having to carefully lean it against a wall and hope it doesn’t fall over (you know what I mean if you’ve dealt with that before!). The built-in headlights are honestly a game changer. I don’t think I can go back to a vacuum without them now. They illuminate pet hair, dust, and debris so well, and I could actually see that everything was clean—often on the very first pass. What I love most about this vacuum is the suction power for its size. It outperforms my similarly sized vacuum from another popular brand by a noticeable margin. Between the powerful suction, the headlights, the easy maneuverability, and the versatility of the tools (plus the ability to remove the top portion for stairs and upholstery), it just checks all the boxes. The extra-long cord is the cherry on top—it lets me clean more without constantly switching outlets. Overall, this is a powerful, practical, and thoughtfully designed vacuum that makes everyday cleaning a lot easier—especially in a home with kids and pets. Plus we love Bissell for everything they do to support pets and pet families, which makes using their products feel even better!
Great Performance but Handle Needs Improvement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is a solid vacuum that performs really well for everyday use. It handles pet hair, crumbs, and general debris without any issues, and the suction is strong enough that I don’t feel like I have to go over the same spot multiple times. One feature I didn’t expect to care about as much as I do is the self-standing design. It’s actually very convenient when you need to pause mid-clean without leaning it against something. The cord length is also great. I can cover my entire one-bedroom apartment without constantly switching outlets, which makes a big difference. The built-in headlights are surprisingly useful. They really highlight dust, hair, and debris on the floor, especially in lower light areas, so you can clearly see what needs attention. The only downside, and it’s a noticeable one, is the handle. There’s a seam where it looks like the handle was welded together, and that line digs into my fingers while vacuuming. It got uncomfortable enough that I had to wrap tape around it just to keep using it comfortably. Aside from that issue, it’s a strong vacuum and does its job very well. I’d recommend it, but the handle design could definitely be improved.
Thank you for sharing your experience with the BISSELL PowerClean® FurFinder™ Corded Stick Vacuum! We’re glad to hear the suction, headlights, cord length, and self‑standing design are making everyday cleaning easier. We appreciate you calling out the handle seam discomfort; we’ve shared this feedback with our product team for future improvements. I never knew I could love a vacuum so much
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this vacuum. I have a cat, two children, and a lot of wool rugs. I am constantly vacuuming up after them all and my previous, cordless vacuum was always running out of power before I finished cleaning up. I love that this vacuum is corded and I don’t need to worry about losing a charge, and that it is very powerful. Every time I vacuum, the tank is full of fur, wool, and so many crumbs. I also love that it stands on its own, which is so much better than needing to safely prop up my previous vacuum against something while trying to clean. I didn’t realize how annoying having to do that was, until I didn’t need to with this vacuum. The headlights are very powerful and help so much with showing me areas that I may have previously missed. I also love how it doesn’t come with too many attachments to worry about storing/losing. There are just enough, for exactly the purposes I need them - I especially love the crevice finder. I’ve used this on all types of floors and it works great on every type. I never knew I could be so excited about a vacuum, but this one is near perfect. My favorite aspect is the fact that it is corded and still slim, not taking up too much space.
