Great little vacuum that is perfect for pet owner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a mom of two elementary age kids and have two Bernese Mountain Dogs as well as a cat. I can honestly say that I vacuum daily. Between crumbs in the kitchen and dog hair everywhere, to the occasional item left behind (today it was a toothpick), there is always a reason to vacuum. I’ve never used a stick vacuum before and was overall impressed by its ability to pick up pet hair without causing issues in the brush roll. In my experience, regular brush rolls tangle and I have to cut wrapped dog hair out of them after every use. I did not have to with this one. A little bit of hair did get wrapped, but nothing I’m concerned about at all. I love that this vacuum stands on its own and has a regular length cord so I wasn’t fighting with reaching different rooms or it toppling over. The headlights are really bright, which is a must when you’re picking up dog hair that likes to hide in corners. I also like the fact that it’s lightweight, which made doing my stairs a lot easier than when I take out my beast of a regular vacuum. The upholstery attachment worked very well for my couch, which inevitably always has hair on it, even though my dogs are not allowed up there! The fact that the vacuum is lightweight and has decent suction made using the upholstery tool so much easier than what I typically have to do to get dog hair off my couch. Huge win there. I have LVP as well as a variety of throw rugs, including shag and those lightweight washable rugs. It worked very well on the washable rug, which I’ve been having trouble with my other vacuum on. It wasn’t fabulous on the deep shag, but did really well on all the other types of throw rugs, including another type of shag. I did have to empty the bin 5 times while vacuuming my main floor. That was not fun. Though, this is meant to be a stick vacuum, and I believe its purpose is not for regular, vacuum-everything usage. I’ll get the beast out for that. What I will use this for is having my young kids help vacuum (they can actually lift this one)! I’ll also continue to use it for my stairs and couch since its maneuverability is so much better than what I usually use. I’ll definitely be tucking this one away in the pantry for quick little mishaps that are bound to happen and the scramble of making sure everything looks nice when I have visitors on short notice!

Great stick vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum handles everyday messes like pet hair, crumbs, and larger debris with ease! When our puppy decided to steal and crush a dozen Easter cascarones, it picked up the large egg shell pieces and small, sticky pieces of confetti with absolutely no problem on both hardwood and carpet. This is compared with the cord free version of the same vacuum, which kept getting jammed. Definitely a stronger motor/greater suction! And the cord is long enough that we're able to vacuum the entirety of our 2,000 sqft first floor with only needing to move the plug once. The built-in headlights are very useful in helping to illuminate all manner of debris that you wouldn't see normally---pet hair, dust bunnies, fine dirt, etc. However, they're only really useful if there's no overhead lighting on at the same time since it would overpower the headlights. Overall, this is a great stick vacuum with a lot of power and good suction! I would highly recommend it as an everyday option.

Great for pet people

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two cats and a small dog, and the fur situation in my house is... a lot. It drifts into corners, hides under the couch, and piles up behind bookshelves like it's paying rent. After spending some time with the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder, I have some thoughts for other pet owners looking to solve their fur problems. The headlights were the first thing that surprised me. I expected them to be kind of gimmicky, but they actually illuminate dust, dander, and pet hair hiding in spots I was clearly missing before. A little humbling, honestly. Something I didn't expect to appreciate as much as I do — the motor sits up near the handle instead of at the floor. That means the airflow stays high and doesn't blow hair around before you can vacuum it up. It sounds like a small thing but it genuinely changes how well it picks up pet hair. It's corded, which I know some people see as a downside, but I've come to prefer it. No battery dying halfway through, no loss of suction — just consistent power the whole time. The cord is long enough to cover a decent area, and it stores neatly on the back of the unit even with the extension wand removed. The self-standing design is one of those things you don't think about until you realize you're not constantly picking it up off the floor. It stands on its own, doesn't tip, and just makes the whole process feel less annoying. It also comes with several attachments for handheld use, plus a mesh bag to keep them all together. It’s the kind of small practical detail that makes storage actually work in a real closet. Overall, if you have pets, I'd recommend this. It's easy to maneuver, has real suction power, and the headlights are genuinely useful!

Great if you are on a budget

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this vacuum on both hardwoods and carpet in a house with 4 cats and a baby doing tummy time in the midst of all the cat hair. While it doesn’t have as much suction power as a Dyson, it also isn’t going to break the bank like one. I enjoyed that the cord is super long and it had a good management system so it wasn’t in my way when using. I plugged it in downstairs and was able to vacuum all the way upstairs and the hallway upstairs without needing to move where I was plugged in at. Being able to have it stand upright when I walked away in a hurry was also a big plus. The lights were helpful as I have both black and white cats and sometimes the hair of one cat doesn’t show up well depending on the type of flooring. It came with 3 different attachements to be used, but I personally only found the tight space one useful. I don’t think this vacuum would be good at cleaning a cat tree, but it’ll get the job done well on your floors without breaking your back or your bank.

Best Light Ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this vacuum! The power and suction are great but the best part is the bright light shining from the bottom of it. I can see so much debris that I couldn't see with my naked eye. It easily picked up pet hair from my cats, small Legos left out by my child, and crumbs. This stands up easily and is parked in my living room since it is low prophile. It was light enough for my small 5-year old to use. Love this vacuum!

Affordable Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am overall pleased with the Bissell FurFinder Stick Corded Vacuum. The 30 foot cord is a huge plus for me because once I get cleaning, I hate having to frequently unplug and plug back in my cord (I loose momentum). I really liked the headlights on this vacuum too! They were bright and illuminated my rooms well. This is a plus because I noticed hairs in spots that were not noticeable with natural bright lighting. It is lightweight and easy to stand. I really liked the adjustable power settings for transitions between tile, hardwood, carpets, and rugs. I did however need a slight lift onto my carpet and had to drop the settings from Hi to Low. This made it so that my vacuum rolled easier. I was very surprised to see how well the low setting vacuumed my carpet and rugs. This was huge because other high end vacuums cannot do this on rugs without lifting them out of place. The Low setting was ideal for these types of vacuuming. And how it was quiet enough to not scare my dog! The suction was amazing; I noticed this after emptying the easy empty canister. The amount of dirt and hair in the canisters was impressive!! The filters work well and are also easy to clean. I also noticed the Low setting was good for cleaning high mess areas on tile and hardwood. Once the debris was cleared I adjusted to the Hi setting on my hard floors and the vacuum did well. There were a few areas that needed to be passed over again. One of my favorite things about this vacuum was the pre-installed tools at the end of the extension wand and hand vacuum. It allowed me to quickly vacuum hard to reach areas without having to stop and attach tools. I did choose to attach the brush tool at the end of the hand vac. when cleaning my cat tower. The amount of cat hair it lifted was IMPRESSIVE! I was truly not expecting that either for a stick vac. By the time I finished vacuuming my room, I noticed my allergies were coming under control. My Theo (long haired tabby) spends most of his days in this part of the house; hiding from our beloved Belgian Malanois, Zoey. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this vacuum to pet owners. Especially if you suffer severe allergies to pet dander. The HEPA filter is truly a plus. Overall, my allergy symptoms died done once I finished cleaning. As to why I gave it only a 4 out of 5 stars, even though it is a great vacuum, is because I don't like having to passover my vacuum when in a rush (I know it seems lazy) because I want to clean and be done asap! So, if you have pets, I'd have to say Go for it!! You won't be disappointed. We'll see how it holds up in a few months.

Decent Little Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking for a small vacuum to use in place of my old handheld vacuum for a while now and was excited to receive this Bissell PowerClean FurFinder. The first thing I did was set it up, plug it in and give it a go. The second thing I did was let my 3 year old try it out, since without the extending tube, it's the perfect size for her to be a Mommy's Helper! Here are the pros and cons of this vacuum. Pros: ~It's small and portable: This vacuum is easy to grab, plug in, and clean up small messes. ~It's easy to plug in in the garage and do a quick mini-van cleaning. ~It's pretty powerful and doesn't rely on a battery so I can finish a job without having to recharge. ~The dust cup is larger than I expected. Most handheld vacuums have tiny dust cups that need emptied over and over. This vacuum does need emptied more frequently than a full sized vacuum, but that's to be expected. ~The headlights are very bright and make finding pet hair, dust, and crumbs easy! ~It can be used as a short vacuum so my younger children can help with cleanup. ~The head of the vacuum is just the right size for vacuuming stairs. I love that I don't need a separate piece for stair cleaning. Cons: ~The suction isn't really enough to get all the pet hair out of long carpet. We have a sheltie and fairly thick carpet. This vacuum picks up crumbs and some hair, but doesn't really get in deep like my full sized vacuum. ~There's not an option to turn off the carpet roller. I will still use this on my hard floors, but it would be nice if that could be turned off.

What a difference a cord makes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using a cordless vac for the last few years and it's been great.. but who knew how much power a corded vacuum can give you. When I said power I mean power after one pass I was so surprised at how much more dirt was pulled up. This is after vacuuming just the day before. Loved how long the cord was. I could complete downstairs without unplugging. Appreciated the headlights great for spotting derbies that I may have missed. Love all the attachments and highly recommend this vacuum.

It find everything from floor to white couch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This corded PowerClean Furfinder stick vacuum is a masterpiece. Trails of dirt, turf rubber, and food crumbs left behind by my 10 and 6 year old boys cleans up effortlessly. In addition, this vacuum takes command over an endless battle of dog hair from a black furred labrador. The small footprint of this vacuum makes the self standing design easy, and convenient, to keep in a common living space for quick use and better maintenance of well trafficked areas. The transformation to a hand vacuum is easy and works great on our white couch. The headlights are what I talked about most after using for the first time. The headlights are what I didn’t know I needed! They bring attention to hidden collections of debris and dog hair throughout the house. The lights on the head of this low profile vacuum go under and between pieces of furniture— leaving my floors much cleaner. I love how well this vacuum takes care of my home. I enjoy endless power from a corded vacuum with all conveniences met from being a stick vacuum that easily transforms into a hand vacuum— with tools! Above all, the ease of care and maintenance to keep it going is a big plus. Nothing like a product that does what it says!

Good Suction and Sleek Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Bissell PowerClean FurFinder Corded for a bit now, and overall it’s been a really solid addition to our routine, especially with a baby and all the little daily messes that come with that. It does a great job picking up everyday debris like crumbs and dust, but where I really notice the difference is with pet hair. It pulls it up easily without needing to go over the same spot a bunch of times. I also didn’t think I’d care much about the self-standing design, but it’s actually been super convenient. The built-in headlights were a nice surprise too since they really help you catch things you wouldn’t normally see. Another big plus is the size. It’s not as clunky as a traditional corded vacuum, and the design actually mimics those sleek cordless ones, which makes it feel a lot easier to handle and store. If I had to pick a least favorite feature, it would be the cord. It can be a little annoying, but I understand you’re getting stronger suction with a corded vacuum, so it kind of feels like one of those pick your battles situations.
