Cake was delicious and moist. Saw a lot of reviews where it was dry and frosting tasted weird, maybe those locations are horrible bakers? I got mine from far north suburb from Chicago. It was a little too sweet but I paired it with unsweetened Greek yogurt and it was perfect!

Read the reviews , many claimed to sweet. Nope, just perfect! the jam used has great flavor and it's in each layer with the frosting. Smells wonderful and tastes equally wonderful! This and the Italian cake are our favorite. German Chocolate could have been better but the frosting needed better chocolate flavor. STRAWBERRY CAKE IS A WINNER!!!;;;

After reading the reviews, I decided that in response to the person that said this must be negative review from competitors, I strongly disagree. I love strawberry cake. This tastes artificial. The only savior could be the strawberry gelee but it gets lost in the cake that's overly dry. This is my opinion, but I have to say that I've served it and others LOVE it and claim it's fantastic. I don't get it. So there ya go…it's literally 50/50

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. It looks cute, but that's where the positives end. The cake tasted extremely artificial, was incredibly dry and crumbly, and the filling and icing were just as bad. It was a complete waste of money. Unfortunately, it looked much better than it tasted. I wouldn't recommend it.

So disappointed in how dry this cake was. We love Sam's cupcakes and thought this was a no brainer- order a cake from Sam's and it would be great. It was a very dry cake. Hard frosting. We had guests say too dry and too sweet. I guess for the price at least we didn't over pay!

This was an absolute no for me. So much fondant and the strawberry flavor gel tasted so artificial. It was not edible and returned it immediately. We would've eaten around all the frosting and topping but even the cake its self was dry and flavorless. It makes me think they were trying to make the cheapest cake possible just for the sake of calling it a cake. I miss the actual strawberries and whipped topping white cake they use to have.

Purchased this for my baby's first birthday it seemed as if it went bad while in fridge for a day! It had these porous white dots everywhere, the icing was rock hard and the bread was dry and hard! It was by far one of the worst cakes I've ever purchased. Ruined her first birthday experience honestly 😭
