Very disappointed in the cake in general. Wasn't up to Sam's standards in my opinion. Only eat less than half and threw the rest in the trash.

DELICIOUS!!! I purchased for my daughter's 38th birthday. This cake was so moist and fresh. Everyone grabbed a second piece! They ate this cake up.

Cake was delicious and moist. Saw a lot of reviews where it was dry and frosting tasted weird, maybe those locations are horrible bakers? I got mine from far north suburb from Chicago. It was a little too sweet but I paired it with unsweetened Greek yogurt and it was perfect!

After reading the reviews, I decided that in response to the person that said this must be negative review from competitors, I strongly disagree. I love strawberry cake. This tastes artificial. The only savior could be the strawberry gelee but it gets lost in the cake that's overly dry. This is my opinion, but I have to say that I've served it and others LOVE it and claim it's fantastic. I don't get it. So there ya go…it's literally 50/50
