Who needs the coffee shop?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in exchange for my honest feedback. With the Kitchenaid Semi Automatic Espresso Machine featuring a Burr Grinder, you can create coffee shop-quaility beverages right in the comfort of your own home. Purchase high-quality whole-bean espresso, place it in the bean hopper, follow the provided instructions and you're all set to brew one of the finest cups of espresso. It's user-friendly, operates quietly, and has a sleek design that looks fantastic on a countertop ir coffee bar. The adjustable steam wand quickly heats milk, transforming any cup of espresso into a delightful, creamy latte, cortado, macchiato, or your preferred espresso drink. The possibilities are endless. Cleaning is a breeze with easily removable parts. My only drawback is that the portafilter is primarily made of plastic which raises concerns about its durability. However, all other parts are well-constructed. Whether your a seasoned barista or a beginner in the world of espresso, the Kitchenaid Espresso machine enables you to craft cafe-quality drinks at home.

Great home espresso allows for easy bean transitio

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this new Kitchenaid semi automatic espresso machine with burr grinder as a courtesy to test and review and I am in love with it! The packaging that it was sent in was great, there were handles to easily pull the machine out of the box. The buttons on the front panel of the machine clearly show what their use is for. I have found this machine to be very user friendly. I love how easy it is to add water to the unit with its carry handle, and it’s a nice size water vessel so you don’t have to add water constantly. The top bean container lifts off so the machine can stay in place while you fill the tray with beans. This also allows you to be able to switch out bean preference based on your need. I’ve used the hot water dispenser for making Americanos and the temperature is nice and hot at its highest setting. The espresso setting dispenses a lovely creamy pour. I’ve used almond milk with the frother and it has whipped up nice and creamy. I love the hidden tray that holds all of the extra espresso trays for storage. It’s great having it all on the unit itself. This is a beautiful stainless steel machine that looks elegant in my coffee bar station and makes the most delicious coffee drinks.

A Wonderful at-home coffee system!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was a pleasure to be sent this product to reveal, especially since I am an avid coffee lover. This was my first experience with a Kitchen Aid espresso machine, but it is truly wonderful and not difficult to master. The built-in burr grinder is super handy, but takes a bit of trial and error to get the bean size proper! The built in steam wand is great too, and can be pretty loud, but that’s to be expected. I can’t recommend this enough!

Amazing compact automatic espresso machine with ev

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best! Best! Best coffee machine and I’m so obsessed with it!! It’s been such a fun upgrade to my coffee routine. The machine looks sleek on the counter and feels solidly built. The burr grinder makes a huge difference—grinds are super consistent, and I can really taste the freshness in every shot. Pulling espresso is pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it, and it feels satisfying to make café-style drinks at home. It doesn’t give me the option to control the temperature of my coffee but it’s not an issue at all. The steam wand works well for frothing milk (took me a couple tries to nail the texture, but now it’s creamy and smooth). I like that it gives me the control of a semi-automatic machine without feeling overly complicated. Cleanup is simple too, which is a big plus for me. If you’re into making coffee at home and want a balance of quality and ease, this KitchenAid combo really hits the spot. It’s not quite “push a button and done,” but that’s part of the charm—you feel like a barista, and the results are delicious.

Makes good espresso. Has one easily fixable issue

First, I have to say this machine is quiet and brews just fine. It's SEMI automatic, which means you need to do some work ton get the best out of the machine. Now, to address a common complaint. If you read the non-incentivised reviews, you'll see complaints about water leaking from the machine. The issue appears to be the internal drain tube not properly entering the hole in the drip tray cover causing the drain water to drain onto the top of the cover and out of the machine. If you remove the drip tray cover, and install the tray with only the metal front cover, you should not have any issues. I'm not sure why the drip tray cover was designed with a raised hole instead of a flush hole in the cover. An easy fix for KitchenAid is to modify the design slightly. A tip for users: the descale function will output a liter or so of water. The user manual says to place a container to catch the water, but does not state how big the container should be. I feel like this should be noted in the manual. Make sure you are using a suitably sized container --- a small bowl or cup will not do. If the drip tray cover had a better design, I would give five stars.

High-end performance, beautiful design, and barist

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the KitchenAid Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine with Burr Grinder for a few months now, and it’s become a morning essential. The built-in burr grinder is incredibly consistent and saves counter space by eliminating the need for a separate grinder. Extraction is smooth and even, producing a rich crema every time once you dial in your grind and tamp pressure. The steam wand heats up quickly and produces café-quality microfoam for lattes and cappuccinos. The water tank is easy to remove and refill, and cleanup is straightforward. It does take a little practice to perfect your shots, but once you get the hang of it, this machine can easily rival your local coffee shop. It’s stylish, sturdy, and perfect for anyone who takes their espresso seriously. Looks amazing on the bar!

Overall a great low/mid-tier espresso machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this machine in exchange for my honest review! I’m a big coffee person and former barista, so I was super excited to try this espresso machine. It feels well built and hefty and also looks nice. The machine I received had some sort of leak at the connection between the water reservoir and the intake which is apparently not uncommon, but kitchenaid remedied the issue. I appreciate that it has a very customizable build in grinder. It’s also nice that the hopper is removable so you get multiple and switch out beans ex one for caffeinated and one for decaf. The machine itself is very intuitive and doesn’t take much dialing in to get a decent shot of espresso. It’s also pretty quiet! Overall I think this machine is very user-friendly while still allowing quite a bit of control over the grinding process. The only changes I could think of appreciating would be allowing more customization for the shot pulling time and a better tamper. It’s easy to buy a better tamper, but it would be nice if the included one was a bit better and less cumbersome. I really like this machine and I think it’s a great low/mid range entry level option for anyone wanting to get into espresso.

Mediocre espresso machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this espresso machine. It seems sturdy and very well made but after using it, there are some flaws. The bean grinder right on the machine works wonders! I do love that. Now with the pour of the espresso, that's another story. It seems that it doesn't matter which setting you set, you're going to get an amount of espresso, whether it's a single or double is a gamble. It never gives the same amount, or the right amount twice. The pressure gauge hasn't worked since day 1 out of the box. And the milk frother/steamer is great too!
