From the moment you open the box, you see thoughtful care in every detail. They’ve made every part of the process as clear as possible. The machine is designed with easy cleaning in mind and does everything you need for a wide range of drinks. I love the large water reservoir and the precision grind for the freshest espresso. You have complete control at your fingertips to craft your perfect espresso drink in the comfort of your home. I was intimidated at first to make this upgrade from a combination of my basic espresso machine (never tasted good enough) and limited offering of my Nespresso machine but I couldn’t be more thrilled. I knew I could trust KitchenAid for great kitchen appliances, but I am truly wowed by the experience they deliver in the espresso realm. Highly recommend!

The provided guides helped a lot though and it helped me get used to the machine pretty quickly. The added accessories are all great quality with a nice heft to them, nothing feels cheap. I love the integrated grinder; I always got annoyed making coffee with my old machine because i would always run out of grinds, but with this I can just simply grind some more with little effort, without having to use a food processor. The customization for the brew is great, you can really fine tune how you want your coffee to come out. I usually don't use the steaming wand but I tried it a couple times with this and it worked great. One of the biggest pros of this machine is how quite it is. Compared to my cheap, small machine, this is so much quieter, which would come in really handy if you got other people at home that may still be asleep. Overall this is an amazing machine for someone who takes their coffee drinking experience seriously. I haven't had a cup of coffee from this machine that I was disappointed with. I highly recommend this if you're in the market for a new machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this espresso machine but there’s a bit of a learning curve! I thought it would be pretty simple to use, however, to pull an espresso that has crema on top takes a bit of practice. Even if you read the instructions and watch video tutorials. The first couple of times I did it the shots didn’t have any crema on top. Eventually when I learned how to better compact the grounds, I started to get the crema like they have in their photos. However, the espresso shots still tasted good to me even if it doesn’t have the crema, but if you’re looking to get the most from the machine it does take a lot of practice. I like that the machine has a coffee bean grinder, because it makes it easy to grind the perfect amount that you need each use. I also really enjoy the milk frother and turning my espresso shots into lattes! I would say if you’re willing to put in the work to learn this machine, then it’s definitely worth getting! My coffee tastes so much better now than what I was previously having in the morning.

Easy to use directions and makes a wonderful cup of espresso and with the grinding process is so much nicer than others I have used. It’s not a loud machine and you can make it the exact way you want for each separate cup which is nice when you have company over. The overall taste is absolutely amazing. Love love love it

It did take a little while to figure out the right size for the bean I was using, but once you get that dialed in the espresso issuper easy. It’s so easy to clean and maintain. This espresso machine has been a definite upgrade to my old coffee maker, as it is semi-automatic with a built in burr grinder. My first impression was how gorgeous it is and well made this espresso machine is. It definitely lives up to the standards of maintaining the quality of KitchenAid products. It’s a statement piece that looks great on the kitchen counter, or a coffee nook. As for functionality, it is easy to operate and very user friendly, and I love how quiet it is! The buttons/controls are easy to read, it grinds evenly, and the frothing wand is easy to adjust. I absolutely love all the accessories: the portafilter and tamper are a nice substantial weight, and the storage drawer underneath helps keep everything organized. I am so impressed and happy with this espresso machine, and will be recommending it to all my family and friends!

The machine looks sleek on the counter and feels solidly built. The burr grinder makes a huge difference—grinds are super consistent, and I can really taste the freshness in every shot. Pulling espresso is pretty straightforward once you get the hang of it, and it feels satisfying to make café-style drinks at home. It doesn’t give me the option to control the temperature of my coffee but it’s not an issue at all. The steam wand works well for frothing milk (took me a couple tries to nail the texture, but now it’s creamy and smooth). I like that it gives me the control of a semi-automatic machine without feeling overly complicated. Cleanup is simple too, which is a big plus for me. If you’re into making coffee at home and want a balance of quality and ease, this KitchenAid combo really hits the spot. Super user friendly but with awesome customizable settings. I love the pop up flag showing the drip catch tray is full so you don't accidentally make a mess. The noise level is completely reasonable for how much work is needed to make espresso. Love the built in grinder and have had nothing but consistent and delicious results. Awesome device!

This is a comprehensive way to create that coffee house experience in my kitchen. I can make espresso, iced coffee, lattes, with milk or without. That perfect Sunday cup of coffee I can have 7 days a week. Our family loves this and it’s such fun from grinding the beans and selecting what to make. I love how we can grind one cup at a time choosing the size. Having the built in grinder eliminates clutter on the counter as is having steamed milk built in. The accessories are well built and buttons on the machine are not flimsy. We have been using this many times a day and have had no issues. My coffee experience has been elevated and I can kick the pods to the curb. This kitchen aid makes the best cup of joe for our friends and family to enjoy!
