[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is amazing! I used it for a month before giving my honest review. The brewing quality is professional like. Love all the options on the machine and what it can make. Super easy instructions for a newbie coffee lover. It’s easy to clean after use. Use it daily and still obsessed with it.
Loving My KitchenAid Espresso Setup!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the KitchenAid Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine with Burr Grinder for a little while now. Customization Options: What I really like is how easy it is to dial things in. You can adjust the grind size, shot amount, and milk froth just the way you want. I’ve been experimenting with different beans, and it’s been fun finding that perfect balance for espresso, cappuccino, or even an iced latte. Noise Level: It’s not whisper quiet, but definitely quieter than I expected. The grinder has a low hum instead of that sharp, rattling sound some machines make, and the brewing part is pretty calm too I can make coffee early in the morning without waking anyone up. Grinding Performance: The burr grinder is a game changer. It grinds evenly and gives a consistent texture every time, which really brings out the flavor in the espresso. The grind settings are easy to adjust, and the beans don’t jam or get stuck. Brewing Consistency: The machine heats up quickly and keeps a steady temperature, so the results are super consistent. I used to have a cheaper espresso machine, and this is on a whole different level. Cleaning Ease: Cleanup isn’t bad at all. The parts come off easily, and I can rinse everything in just a few minutes. The grinder doesn’t make a big mess either, which is a huge plus for me. Overall: If you’re thinking about getting a semi automatic espresso machine that gives you café-quality coffee at home, this KitchenAid is worth it. It’s simple enough for everyday use but gives you enough control to feel like a barista. Totally recommend it.
Absolutely terrible machine. Do not purchase.
I have had three of these machines and all THREE leak water out and are unusable. This is the most frustrating machine ever and I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. When I called for a replacement, they mention they know these machines do it, but hopefully my replacement won't. Spoiler alert: it did. Do not buy this, put your money towards a much better quality machine.

Sunday cafe coffee all week!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coffee has always been my thing… I have tried all kinds of methods to brew coffee. This is a comprehensive way to create that coffee house experience in my kitchen. I can make espresso, iced coffee, lattes, with milk or without. That perfect Sunday cup of coffee I can have 7 days a week. Our family loves this and it’s such fun from grinding the beans and selecting what to make. I love how we can grind one cup at a time choosing the size. Having the built in grinder eliminates clutter on the counter as is having steamed milk built in. The accessories are well built and buttons on the machine are not flimsy. We have been using this many times a day and have had no issues. My coffee experience has been elevated and I can kick the pods to the curb. This kitchen aid makes the best cup of joe for our friends and family to enjoy!
Tastes great but takes some time to learn!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this espresso machine but there’s a bit of a learning curve! I thought it would be pretty simple to use, however, to pull an espresso that has crema on top takes a bit of practice. Even if you read the instructions and watch video tutorials. The first couple of times I did it the shots didn’t have any crema on top. Eventually when I learned how to better compact the grounds, I started to get the crema like they have in their photos. However, the espresso shots still tasted good to me even if it doesn’t have the crema, but if you’re looking to get the most from the machine it does take a lot of practice. I like that the machine has a coffee bean grinder, because it makes it easy to grind the perfect amount that you need each use. I also really enjoy the milk frother and turning my espresso shots into lattes! I would say if you’re willing to put in the work to learn this machine, then it’s definitely worth getting! My coffee tastes so much better now than what I was previously having in the morning.
Coffee Shop quality at home!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you’ve never used a machine like this, it can honestly be a little intimidating at first. There is a bit of a learning curve but I have gotten the hang of it now. The instructional videos on their website are extremely helpful! I also reference the user manual. You freshly grind your espresso beans with the burr grinder before you brew. Thie machine comes with four filter baskets for the ground coffee. You can adjust the grind size but I have stuck with the suggested level on the website for double shot brews. You can also do a single shot. After you grind your bean you press the coffee down with the tamper that is included. When you brew the espresso you have a choice of low, medium, or high temperature. I like my coffee extra hot so I use it on high. Also the machine heats up very quickly. And both the grinding and brewing are a bit loud. There is a steam wand to heat up and froth milk. You put the toggle just under the surface of the milk in the pitcher to froth it. The longer it goes the more foamy the milk gets. If you just want to heat up your milk put the toggle further down into the milk. I’ve don’e this with vanilla almond milk for my lattes I’ve made. I’ve also frothed a combo of almond milk and a flavored creamer. I haven’t mastered milk foam art at all but I’ll keep at it. This came with a recipe book that tells you how to make different drinks. I’ve made my fiancée Americanos and then lattes and cappuccino’s for myself. They taste like they came from a coffee shop. We are extremely happy with this machine!! Aside from the high quality coffees, it looks beautiful in our kitchen. The house we are going to move into will have a coffee bar area and this will be absolutely perfect for that!
This makes awesome coffee.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This espresso maker is almost perfect! It’s such great quality and if you spend time learning you can adjust pretty much everything. Once you get the hang of it and get the settings to your desired levels with great coffee grinder…you can make some consistently awesome coffee . Super easy to clean and and consistently use. Definitely not as loud as my old coffee maker. It really does have some cool features, I love how I can just take top coffee bean storage out and easily fill it. Apps love the handle on the water tank. The only small adjustment I would make to this would be adjusting the water tank to make it easier to fill water from the fridge.
Convenient!!! Revolutionary
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This might be a little dramatic to say that this machine has changed my life!! However, I love that I can fill it with beans and water and espresso myself happy for days in a row. This sure beats having to set up the coffee maker every night before bed and awake to hohum coffee or to have to dip out espresso on the stove top and wait for the water to boil. I can stumble down the stairs partially asleep, press a few buttons (although the buzzing noise is a bit jarring to the sleeping family so I close the kitchen door- only for about 10 seconds) and voila my espresso is ready !!! I have tried the milk frother a few times but I’m mostly happy to receive the caffeine. My mornings have drastically improved. This is my favorite thing in a long time!! Get one now!!
Great enthusiast machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm used to a very simple machine, so transitioning to this was a learning experience. The provided guides helped a lot though and it helped me get used to the machine pretty quickly. The added accessories are all great quality with a nice heft to them, nothing feels cheap. I love the integrated grinder; I always got annoyed making coffee with my old machine because i would always run out of grinds, but with this I can just simply grind some more with little effort, without having to use a food processor. The customization for the brew is great, you can really fine tune how you want your coffee to come out. I usually don't use the steaming wand but I tried it a couple times with this and it worked great. One of the biggest pros of this machine is how quite it is. Compared to my cheap, small machine, this is so much quieter, which would come in really handy if you got other people at home that may still be asleep. Overall this is an amazing machine for someone who takes their coffee drinking experience seriously. I haven't had a cup of coffee from this machine that I was disappointed with. I highly recommend this if you're in the market for a new machine.
The Perfect Home Espresso Machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] By far the best espresso machine for the money. It could very well be the best machine out there for home use. There’s not a single thing that I can find wrong with it after 1.5 months of daily use between two people. There hasn’t been a time where I said it would be better if it had this or that, they included everything and all of the parts are designed to be stored internally. It’s extremely easy to clean using the built in frother (it works off of steam). Since it uses steam I’m able to get a thorough clean of everything. It has a pressure gauge that shows optimum pressure for pulling your shots, and you can get your perfect shot by playing around with different grind settings, how hard you tamp the grounds, and which of the 4 included stainless steel filter plates you choose. It also comes with a recipe book with TONS of drinks you can make with this machine, I’ve been making Iced lattes at home every morning and it’s awesome doing it myself! I’ve recommended this machine to multiple family members and friends and they all love it as well. I’m super happy with it, they really did a great job designing this machine/set.
