Third machine I received that was defective. First one just stopped working, second one the grinder wasn’t working correctly and third is leaking. Currently in the process of trying to return it and the process has been so frustrating. I’ve been on the phone with many reps- some helpful, some not and the issue is still unresolved. I do not recommend an espresso machine from Kitchenaid. Better go with Breville or the other many options out there.

I am in love with this machine! Once you figure out the proper grinding setting, temperature and which cup to use for a perfect cup, it makes the best coffee! Instructions are a bit vague, they could be little more detailed for the ones like me that went from a traditional drip coffee makers to this state of the art.

There's lots of instructions in the manuals to help you figure out all the settings. I don't use the steamer frequently, but I don't have any complaints about it. The machine is easy to wipe down and the built in accessory storage is great! I also like how easy it was to set the hot water fill to fill mugs with one touch for the guests that want "just normal coffee". The noise level is negligible; it does not bother my betta fish that lives right next to it! Overall, I can highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality espresso machine!

It's a good machine but had a better experience with breville. Mostly due to ease of use. There are more steps to switching between coffee and steamer. Also the coffee tends to spill when grinding and coffee grounds go everywhere making it more difficult to keep area clean. The espresso drip quality is very good.

I really enjoy this espresso machine. The grinder is impressively quiet—easily the quietest I’ve ever used—and that feature alone is worth five stars. That said, I did start noticing a small but constant drip from the steam wand within the first two months. It only happens when the pump is running, but it’s persistent enough to be concerning. I reached out to the small appliance support line and was placed on a 1.5‑hour hold. I opted for a callback, but unfortunately never received one. I still need to get in touch with support to resolve the issue.

I have had 2 of these machines and they haven't lasted 24hrs. They both leaked water out of the back tank ruining my floor. I would never purchase this machine again and if I could give it 0 stars I would. This has been the worst product I have purchased in my entire life.

I absolutely love this espresso machine. It is efficient and quiet and easy to use. The handbook has easy ways to help you figure out if you are over/under extracting the espresso. However I would have given it 5 stars, but I have had complications with the original order as well as with this machine. There is some issue with the water reservoir sealing to the machine. It doesn't seem to sit fully snug and there is a small leak each time I try and reset it into the machine. I have got it set now so it doesn't leak, however I will not remove the reservoir to prevent further leaking. I had already returned my original machine and the this replacement does the same thing.

Easy to use directions and makes a wonderful cup of espresso and with the grinding process is so much nicer than others I have used. It’s not a loud machine and you can make it the exact way you want for each separate cup which is nice when you have company over. The overall taste is absolutely amazing. Love love love it
