On day one, after a few test shots to dial in settings, I was able to make a latte nearly on par with my favorite coffee shop which felt pretty incredible. With the right beans and a bit more practice I am confident I’ll meet or exceed their results! I reduced my review from 5 to 4 stars because the reservoir does have a tendency to leak if not perfectly seated on its base- and it did leak all over my countertop and floor on its first night in my kitchen.

I would say using an expression maker while just normally using a coffee maker is definitely for more experienced coffee makers! Once I learned how to use it, it was really easy to use. I am still learning all the tips and tricks of how to make the best expression and it also has a grinder that is attached.I love the stainless steel it matches everything in my kitchen. If you rather save your money than going to Starbucks I would say get one of these, it’s definitely a nice little addition to your kitchen.

I've made so many great drinks with this kitchenaid expresso machine already and it even comes with a recipe book that I've used to create drinks! It has several different baskets, frother and a bean hopper! This expresso machine is top of the line! I can't say enough great things about this kitchenaid expresso machine! Kitchenaid is great quality and known for several kitchen appliances they make and this is just another great product by them! You won't need anything else when you buy this! So happy i have this! However, Kitchen Aid’s Semi Automatic Espresso Machine made things so much easier! There’s a guide with how to make sure you’re grinding the beans properly (either fine or coarse) so that the espresso comes out smooth. Theres also a guide with different types of drinks you can make. There’s many cool features including the milk steamer, the stamp that packs the ground beans, the gauge which shows you if the espresso is going to come out at the right temperature, and much more. Honestly, since receiving this Espresso machine, I haven’t bought any other coffee. It’s quick & easy and one of the best machines I’ve ever had to review!

From espresso martinis to iced lattes and even delicious cappuccinos! Minimal noise, perfect addition to our coffee bar. I the tried cleaning the grinder area as suggested by Kitchen Aid. It’s better for one grind. Then the grinds fry everywhere.

It’s overall relatively easy to use, but there was a learning curve. The instruction book wasn’t super helpful but was still able to figure it out. I’d recommend this machine to anyone looking to upgrade their coffee-making at home. The coffee is so tasty
