[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the expresso machine is great but the water is not very hot. average temp on most expresso machine is 172 degree and yours is at the best 132 degree..over all we like the KITCHENAID.. the gauge meter is lazy and has a problem moving off its rest point. it moved one time when we first used it.

KitchenAid has long been hailed as a reliable household brand and this espresso machine is no different. It makes a delicious and smooth espresso in just a few minutes. It’s very easy to use, once you start. It came with all the necessary equipment and is compact enough that it doesn’t take up a ton of space. The machine itself is well made, and probably doesn’t need to be cleaned after every use, but I do that due to my own personal preference. It looks nice in my kitchen and is a light stainless steel that blends well with my other appliances.

To start, the water tank is large and also comes with a water filter to insert into a water filter holder. The tank has a nice handle so you can easily remove it to refill and replace it. The grinder is amazing and adjustable so you can get an extremely fine grind using it. It’s very easy to use and it’s very fast at grinding. The machine is smart as it produces the correct amount of ground coffee needed for either a single or double shot. The coffee grinds go right into the portafilter. The machine comes with 4 different cup filters to use for either a single or double shot and there’s a single and double wall filter of each. The tamp is also included and it is a heavy high quality tamp. Brewing time is fast and heats quickly, there are 3 levels of temperature you can choose for your brew. Steam wand is convenient and gets the job done for a frothy milk. Stainless steel 12 oz milk pitcher was also included! The machine is able to run a cleaning cycle with a click of a button and it will also notify you when it needs a clean. Overall, the espresso machine feels very durable, high quality, modern and is easy, convenient, fast.

It has the little features which delight like a tab in the catch tray that pops up indicating when the tray is full and needs emptying or the storage for the extra accessories. I've appreciated having the ability to adjust the grind, temperature, etc to get the perfect espresso. The startup guide was helpful as well.

I've been enjoying trying different espresso drinks from the included recipe booklet. I only deducted a star because it is a little on the loud side. Other than that I've absolutely loved it. Such a nice, well made machine. Everything feels very high quality. The water reservoir is large and holds plenty of water, so you don't have to fill it up all the time. Also has a nice carrying handle to carry it to the sink. The stainless steel is beautiful and blends well in any kitchen. It's been easy to clean and care for so far as well. Overall I am very happy! It has everything I could want or ask for in an at home espresso machine. I drink espresso every morning, so it's been amazing having the ability to make it at home and save some money! Definitely recommend!
