I just unpacked this and had to press the Temp, On, & Start button many different times to get it to prime. Once primed, it leaked water all over my countertop. Kitchenaid has known about this leaking issue and decided to ship me a faulty product, why?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the expresso machine is great but the water is not very hot. average temp on most expresso machine is 172 degree and yours is at the best 132 degree..over all we like the KITCHENAID.. the gauge meter is lazy and has a problem moving off its rest point. it moved one time when we first used it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was told to send two machines back because I was told by customer service it wasn’t normal to have water draining into the drip tray and then got a third machine and the pressure gauge doesn’t work at all and it still waste a bunch of clean water. Apparently it’s normal for it to use a decent amount of water even when just making a shot of espresso since it always drains into the drip tray… which means emptying the drip tray every couple days and filling the water tank more often than you’d think. I guess that’s why the water tank is larger than others it waste a bunch in the drip tray…. Tired of the hassle of returning machines and really disappointed I can’t get a refund.. and I’m not even the type of person to complain but this has been a disappointing purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This espresso machine by KitchenAid is foolproof. We had a previous machine that made OK drinks but was really hard to use and clean. This one grinds beans fresh, steams milk easily and makes a very, very good latte. The only real downside is that the steamer is incredibly loud. Overall, this quickly became part of our daily routine and I prefer our lattes to many chain coffee shops.

It has the little features which delight like a tab in the catch tray that pops up indicating when the tray is full and needs emptying or the storage for the extra accessories. I've appreciated having the ability to adjust the grind, temperature, etc to get the perfect espresso. The startup guide was helpful as well.

KitchenAid has long been hailed as a reliable household brand and this espresso machine is no different. It makes a delicious and smooth espresso in just a few minutes. It’s very easy to use, once you start. It came with all the necessary equipment and is compact enough that it doesn’t take up a ton of space. The machine itself is well made, and probably doesn’t need to be cleaned after every use, but I do that due to my own personal preference. It looks nice in my kitchen and is a light stainless steel that blends well with my other appliances.

It is my first time owning an espresso machine like this, so take me a bit time to learn how to use it. But overall is pretty easy to brew. Cleaning is easy and I really love how it looks too.
