My wife and I wanted a quality cup of coffee with fresh grounds and espresso periodically. We started with another brand in the same price range, but was nowhere near the versatility of this unit, and returned after a week of use. I just happened to find this one, since it’s new to the market. I will say after a few weeks of use that we love this machine. Once you learned the nuances of each type of drink you want to make, it’s pretty simple to make and clean up. I became a lazy K-cupper and was a bit concerned about the “process” it takes from start to finish, but the apprehension is gone. I really like this machine and would recommend to anyone looking for quality and versatility. Great job Ninja!

Love this machine!! Every part of the machine is made well and feels high end. The grinder works very well and makes a fantastic fine grind for espresso. The automatic steaming and milk frothing is great as well. Two things I would change about this machine to make it a full 5 stars. 1. The water reservoir for the discard water is not that big, so you do have to empty it fairly often. 2. The steam wand is great and the manual steaming function is perfect for the home barista, but when using the manual function it takes a minute to get the steam going causing unwanted bubbles in the milk. (I am being pretty nit-picky about this one)

But this thing? I love it so much that I actually went back through my emails just to find the one Ninja sent me asking for a review. That’s how much I love it.Trust me, you won’t regret getting this. It does everything you could want for coffee. It might not be barista-level, but hey, I’m not a barista—I just want great coffee at home, and this thing makes it so easy. It walks you through everything, comes with everything you need, and even stores all the tools right in the machine. Super handy!Honestly, Ninja, you’ve outdone yourself. This is our first espresso machine. We are extremely pleased with our purchase. The machine is very easy to use and performs really well. The quality of the coffee is excellent. We do use higher quality coffee beans, which does make a difference with the performance of the machine.

Grounds everywhere, I've tried doing a quad shot 3 times, I go by the recommended grind amount and every single time grounds are everywhere before I pull it out. I've tried googling, and can't find a solution. Also impossible to reach anyone via chat or phone

I shopped around for a long time for a new coffee machine and pulled the trigger on the Luxe because I love all of Ninja's other products. Overall? It's ok. It's not great and now that I know that feels expensive. It splatters- be prepared to have coffee everywhere. And grinds. It's also heavy & the water fill tank is on the back on the machine so if you have it against a wall which you likely would be prepared to pull the machine out to fill with water. The iced coffee should be called luke warm coffee. Even if you fill a glass with ice prior to brewing said ice will be melted by the time the glass is full with coffee. The frother is hit or miss. Sometimes I will get a good froth, others I will want to run through again and again. Every once in a while the machine will glitch and I will have to turn it all the way off and start again- almost like it needs a reboot. End of the day the warm coffee is good. It's just a lot of work and a lot of money for what it is.

Amazing machine. It’s extremely easy to use which is the main reason I love it. The reason for 3 stars is due to the portafilter funnel. Unfortunately the plastic has chipped in 2 places & I’ve only had it for a few weeks now. For the price of the machine I would expect the parts to be super high quality. But again, other than that issue, machine is amazing.

So far I am loving this machine. The Classic Coffee Drip is good, the espresso comes out perfect. I have owned several Espresso machines and without understanding the mathematics behind it, I never did get a good tasting shot. I am very happy with this purchase. I drink regular coffee, lattes and iced coffees and this provides all with great taste.
