Beyond happy about this purchase. I was interested in an espresso, coffee, and milk frother all in one. For the price, and all that it does, along with all the positive reviews, I finally decided to get it. As long as it doesn’t suddenly break on me, this will be the best purchase I have made in years. The coffee beverages have been delicious. My lavender oatmilk latte tastes way better than that one place.

There’s something for everyone with this machine because of the cold brew/press options. I prefer the regular espresso setting and use it most often, but I’ve liked everything! I can’t wait to entertain and make custom drinks tor a group! The only thing I think would be a nice addition is an instant hot water spout for tea, we have an electric kettle so it’s not an issue at all, but it would save a bit of counter space. Overall the value of this is incredible for everything it does!

The machine is good looking, thoughtful (hello accessory storage!), and fits easily under cabinets! Ninja/Shark products always have wonderful warranties, and I'm registering my machine right after this. It comes with everything you need to get started except for beans! 🤩 The built-in grinder adjusts based on what you're making, you can adjust the self-stirring frother to dairy or plant-based milk in various foam levels (and cold foam - YUM!). This is the machine of my dreams and I can't wait to continue learning how to make the best coffees out there!

This is the 2nd machine I have bought, not because any mechanical issues, only because my house burned down and I love the machine so much I had to buy again! However, due to economic issues, I did try a Panasonic machine that was $200 cheaper, and boy was that a mistake. After a few issues and the overall feeling of it being too plasticy, I sent it back and bought the NINJA!! It really makes everything and anything you want, so love the versatility of the machine and feels like it was made to last a long time, so once you get over the price, you will LOVE making coffees each morning, like I do!

Grounds everywhere, I've tried doing a quad shot 3 times, I go by the recommended grind amount and every single time grounds are everywhere before I pull it out. I've tried googling, and can't find a solution. Also impossible to reach anyone via chat or phone

I'm one of the Americans who are waiting for the versions you've chosen to release in Europe. We want to be able to dispense water for tea, and to make single shots. The three stars are for what sounds like a decent fit for me, the other two are waiting...

I was excited to buy this machine as I have loved all my other Ninja products. However if you don’t use the same beans for drip and espresso you have to waste A LOT of beans every time you change beans. My husband drinks drip and I drink espresso and cold press. For this “smart” machine to switch you have to run two cycles through with the beans you have switched to. For this reason we will be returning ours and continuing on the espresso hunt.

It looks complicated, but there are QR codes and videos to accompany the included printed material, and the displays also guide one along from grinding to brewing. The first step in setup is testing the water hardness with included test strips. Each time you fill the bean hopper (with a UV-protective cover), the machine likes to be calibrated for best results. The portafilters, dosing funnel, spring-assisted tamper, and cleaning brush all stow into designated places on the sides. One feature I especially like is that the frothing unit’s steam wand has a purge function that sends fresh steam through it to clean out any residual milk. That purged water collects in the base of the unit. There is a little float button in the corner that pops up when the water in the base needs to be emptied. The machine will suggest which grind setting is best for the drink you want to make, and then you just rotate the grinder dial unto the setting matches the recommendation. The grinder weighs the portafilter and knows precisely how much coffee to grind for the drink you want. We have been enjoying both espresso drinks and rich classic drip coffees. The frothing unit can produce several types of velvety froth. Ninja has done its best to make the machine accessible for the average person. There are QR codes and stickers showing classic beverage instructions. Fabrication is excellent quality. Lots of stainless steel, and any plastics are of high quality. The water reservoir is thoughtfully designed, with volume markings, ergonomically designed hand grips that also serve as mounting notches, and a fairly high capacity so that you’re not having to refill it after just a couple of uses. It is also surprisingly easy to clean. I don’t have a knock box but have been using a plastic citrus peeler to dislodge the used ‘puck’ from the portafilter after each use. The machine looks good, feels good, and produces really lovely beverages. My aunt really looks forward to afternoon salted caramel cappuccino time!

When I grind beans to make a quad espresso, the funnel does not catch all of the grounds resulting in a waste of my beans which are not cheap to buy. If this continues, I will probably have to return the machine which I do not want, unless I am doing something wrong. Please advise.
