So Cool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love all things KitchenAid and this Fully Automatic Espresso Machine KF6 is my favorite! Friends...! It's so cool and fancy! I'm absolutely obsessed with it! Although it is the smallest if the 3 versions it's quality and functions are not small! I've been wanting to learn how to make my own espressos and fancy coffee drinks ☕️ from home but have always been intimidated....this little baby is perfect for beginners! It's fully automatic and us super smart! 😎 Assembly is really easy as it does not require much. It comes with the basics like a filter, instruction manuals, recipe books, etc. Once set up it walks you through everything step by step. This thing is capable of making SO MANY awesome drinks! Plain coffee, espresso shots, lattes, cappuccino, hot water for cocoa or tea etc. It has a grinder built in for whole espresso beans which is very convenient. If you prefer grounds - that's an option too! This is the "basic" version of the 3 but is just slightly smaller without the milk frother container...but....rest assured because it still froths milk! You just hook the little hose up directly to your dairy product of choice or buy yourself a little cup for frothing. It's super easy and 100% customizable! It's literally what coffee dreams are made of! 😉 There is something for everyone. Clean up is also a breeze. This awesome machine is worth every dollar! I 100% recommend purchasing it especially if you are a beginner. I'm still learning what I like best but so far it's caramel macchiato for the win! My advice is to do your research and practice! Read the manual and experiment, experiment, experiment! The more you play with it the more it does!

Super easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this item for about 4 days now and have been playing with it everyday and sometimes several times a day. It’s a high quality, beautifully simplistic peace of machinery. Much larger and heavier than I was expecting. Has plenty of caffeinated drink options along with a green tea, hot water, hot milk options. Has plenty of settings such as how hot you want you drink, how strong you want the coffee to be, what type of milk whether dairy or plant-based, milk first or coffee first and some other options I can’t remember at the moment. It isn’t entirely noiseless but not super noisy either. Also, I have noticed that when using pre-ground coffee, the flavor of it isn’t as strong and tastes slightly watered down as when using the freshly ground coffee beans the taste of black coffee is stronger. However, I do love that you have the 2 options of using coffee beans or pre-ground coffee. It grounds the coffee beans for you too! I absolutely LOVE that there’s options u can use to set the machine to clean itself and to auto shut off when not in use anywhere from 8 minutes to 8 hours. Right before it shuts off it does a quick clean cycle and drips out the water when cleaning itself right into the drip try. This machine is definitely hassle free in that respect. When using coffee beans, the aroma is so deliciously aromatic. Any coffee lover would be obsessed! LOVED, that there’s also an option to add PROFILES! Thought that was pretty cool! (FYI, KF6 can add 4 profiles, but CAN’T personalize them ~meaning naming them~, KF7 can add 4 profiles, and CAN personalize them, KF8 can add 6 profiles, and CAN personalize them). I think the only real complaint (if you want to even call it that) is that I wish you can add a larger option to the size of the drink. For example, I had a cappuccino the other day but it was only about an xtra small/small cup worth. I understand a lot of these aren’t normally full size cups of coffee but I would have liked it for it to have that type of option. All in all, we love this espresso machine here at home!

Where does the brewed coffee grounds end up?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The KitchenAid Fully Automatic Espresso Machine Model KF6 brews a fantastic cup of various coffee drinks. There is a screen listing the types of coffee drinks where you choose the coffee drink type, the strength, heat, and water or milk level. Once you check ✅ and press the start button ➡️ your drink will brew to your specifications. You may save your drink in one of four programmed entries. THE KF6 model saves it labeled one through four. (Other models iKF7 and KF8 can be saved by named profiles). There is a slide button to adjust the grind. It is simple to use. The water tank is easy to put in the filter and add water for coffee drinks and rising parts. The build quality of the KF6 is quite impressive, large, and heavy. It is stainless steel and boy do the finger prints show. Perhaps too large for small apartments unless you have loads of counter space. One issue that I had was that the sliding mechanism fell off. This button allows you to adjust the height for cup size. (See attached picture of slide and where it belongs). Considering the cost of this machine, I didn't expect anything to break after four uses. The machine comes with a quick start guide, an in-depth guide, and recipe booklet. The guides/booklet are in English, French, and Spanish and are straight forward. However, I think they omitted an important detail. No where does it show or mention how to get the coffee grounds out of the machine. There isn't a label or numbered section for how you get your coffee grounds out. The closest label is the drip tray. It does not tell you that you need to pull out a tray at the bottom of the machine right above the drip tray. I kept reading the directions; however, I couldn't find how or where the coffee grounds end up. (Please note the picture of the tray pulled out). Even my guy who got the KF6 espresso machine out of the box (it is big and freaking heavy) he couldn't figure out where the coffee grounds end up. Special note for drinks you need heated milk, with the KF6 a milk tank is not included. I used a measuring cup and placed the hose inside. I made several yummy Macchiato and Cappuccino drinks (see attached pics). I just wish that the milk tank was included. Basic cleaning works well as you can follow the directions on the display. The machine does rinse itself out as you start and end each coffee making. After several brews, the machine tells you to set the process up to clean. You can follow the prompts on the display. As to the point of where the grounds go, the water goes to the same place - the bottom sliding tray (see attached pics). The KitchenAid Fully Automatic Espresso Machine does make fantastic coffee drinks. I have enjoyed making the drinks and using the recipe booklet. I'm glad that Infuenster sent me this to review. I thank them kindly.

Wonderful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is wonderful. It was easy to unpack and the directions were very easy to follow. It brews great coffee. My kitchen is small and I worried about space, but it doesn’t take up much space at all.

I really like the looks!

I had a hard time finding a coffeemaker that met my wife’s approval. I really wanted a fully automatic model, but most of them are just cheap-looking plastic. Not this one, though! It's easy to set up, and maintenance is straightforward, just follow the instructions on the display and replace the water filter every once in a while. I had to tweak the settings slightly to enjoy the cappuccinos as I like them a bit stronger than usual. Adjusting the settings was simple, and I had it just right in a few tries. It's worth noting that the machine is quite large and may not fit on every countertop. However, the space is well-utilized with a large drip tray, grounds bin, and water reservoir. The reservoir slides out from the side, making it easy to position under a cabinet. The machine also has small wheels, so it’s easy to move around. I would highly recommend this coffeemaker to anyone who has the space (and budget) to accommodate it.

Lukewarm at best

We just received our new KF6 in stainless steel. We like the selection and customization options. However, you cannot fit a large mug or travel mug below the dispenser. Our biggest disappointment is that the drinks come out warm, not hot, even when we select "high" for the temperature. In order to have a hot drink, we have to microwave our drinks after they dispense. They do taste great, but coffee should be hot, not lukewarm!

Great size and features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine is a great size if you don’t have a big space for your espresso machine! It is a beautiful and elegant machine. My favorite part is that it allows you to customize your recipes and saves them so that you can use them in the future . It doesn’t make loud and scary noises . The clean up is fairly easy and the manual is really helpful to help you get to know your machine.

It changed my life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful high quality machine. I use it daily to make my coffee. I love the versatility and the options it gives you. You can even make your own creations! Super quiet, makes less noise than a drip machine which is surprising because it's literally grinding the beans. I love this and I recommend it to anyone who can afford to get one.

Excellent for someone who love espresso but doesn’t have the time or want to play with all the gadgets that traditional espresso machines require.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First and foremost I really really want to give this a five star, and I can’t because there were just a couple of things that prevented it. The positives(More than listed I’m sure): Truly a good quality and well built machine. It is so easy to use and makes amazing espresso and other coffees. The components come apart easily for cleaning mostly. Water and bean filling is easy and the removable bean tray allows for swapping beans easily if not everyone can agree on the beans. The puck clean out tray works very well and is simple to rinse. The automated cleaning is very convenient. Literally using it every morning and love it more each day. The constructive feedback (I know this is being picky but this is honestly feedback on where improvements can be made): The instruction manual shows that there should be two ends on the milk hose so my wife and I though we were missing pieces for a while and looked through the box, but I concluded that it was likely a rev. change for lower complexity and lower cost which I whole heartedly agree with, the user manual just needs an update. There isn’t much warning when the start up rinse is going to kick in. It would be better if there was a hold mechanism in the program logic that asked if you are ready to rinse so you can get a cup under it. We resorted to always just leaving a cup under it. The handle one the water tank makes it nearly impossible for anyone with larger hands to get into it for cleaning. I would recommend eliminating the swivel handle and doing a cut out on the outlet panel and slight recess in the tank to grip, or maybe just two molded in handles on the two skinnier side which this change should be tool safe and not require new molds just modified existing molds. The pour spout on the drip tray is not effective. It is centered in the back of the tray and to get all the liquid out of the tray it requires a counter clockwise tilt so a more natural pour spout location would be the left corner this could be achieved adding a slight lip around the rim save for that left area to help prevent over spill. The stainless catch tray I would add finger half circle intent on each side of the grate for easier removal. I currently just pinch the middle grates which works but not really ideal for end user experience. When we got the machine it was set to the finest grind possible which led to a poor initial experience because the grind was so fine that it wouldn’t allow for saturation and through flow of the water and most of it would end up in the catch tray. It also cause a very consistent low beans alert even when the beans were full. I would highly recommend the stock position be the most course then allow the end user to adjust as desired. I found the middle setting is my perfect grind. Bottom line, life IS better with this product in it the few opportunities for improvement are just that to an already good product.

Fancy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very grateful that I got to try this machine. Overall , ease of use is amazing. Product is very well made. The grinding portion of the machine can be a little noisy but that is to be expected. Machine allows you to save several preferences for you favorite drinks. The screen guides you through the step by step processes of making each drink.
