Love the idea of a steam mop! I purchased the mop right before they went on sale. My 600sqft apartment laminate floors were in need of a good clean. I was very excited for this purchase but feel it fell short. To start I absolutely love how light and quiet it is. It was very easy to assemble and get it going. However the dirt water reservoir holds less than half the amount of clean water so it has to be changed many times. The living room area took about an hour to clean between focusing on areas that have heavy traffic and emptying and refilling the water. Another thing I didn’t like was that it leaves behind a lot of water. Before I could move on to a different area I would have to go over it with a dry microfiber towel. For the price I would not recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The entire time I used this steam vacuum I kept saying wow look at that it picked up crumbs and the floor looked brand new. It even separated the crumbs from the water. The steam heated up fast. I did the entry upstairs in less than 5 minutes. Wow! The roller comes out to be rinsed and dries on the holder. I have sharks and everyone I love esp the apex. This one is perfect for hardwood floors. Dried super fast too. I want to buy my kids each one. It’s definitely portable and versatile.

I had bought a bissel steamer and returned it. It was top heavy and you had to hold a button down for it to work. The Shark is easy to use, works awesome, my floors feel so clean. It’s easy to take apart for cleaning. I highly recommend the Shark steamer. We have 3 big dogs and wood floors and tile, it does a great job lots of steam making everything very clean.

A bit complicated to operate first time, but does a fabulous job. Worth the money as there are no disposable pads or cleaning solution to purchase forever. I had 2 Shark steam mops for many years and loved that I could clean thoroughly with no chemicals. They finally stopped working and this is a great replacement!

If the floors are dusty, I highly recommend using the vacuum first before using the Shark steamer. The steamer was super easy to assemble and use. It is well made and not heavy. When it comes to using the device, all I had to do was add water to the container, plug in the device, select the steam level and I was good to go. I have to say that I was very impressed with it. Not only did it pick up additional debris that my vacuum did not pick up but the amount of steam coming out was amazing. It left my floors spotless and best thing is that there are no chemical involved in the process, just water. Emptying the container and cleaning the brushroll after I was done mopping was a breeze. All in all, I really like this steamer and it goes without saying that it gets a perfect rating from me.
