I wanted to love it but just can't 😞

I had the original steam mop/vac I absolutely loved it, this is the worst redesign ever made! I have used it 3 times and it's sit the remaining time. Like a lot of people I also have a ton of water and streaks left on the floor after using this even on the lowest steam setting (I've tried them all) very very disappointed in this product

Great intention, flawed design

Overall, is a good tool for cleaning the floors; unfortunately, I'm not sure I would use it consistently. I would love to have a Shark tool that I can use as a triple tool separately without having to maneuver over one of the functions (vacuum brush portion) to clean the floors. 3-in-1 is a bit of a stretch in my opinion. This is my experience and I would love to support the shark team providing useful feedback for their engineering design team because this was my literal Christmas gift to myself after buying my first house. I'm disappointed though and expected excellence as I always do with their tools! This is my review regarding the tool with my feedback of things It could work better for me as a customer. The on/off button should be on top next to the handles and start with a button. Not start heating up to the lowest level automatically when you connect the cord. The steam function should start with a button too in handle as well. Not when the head is tilted. The brush motion makes the steam mop move automatically due the brush motion, so the only way the steam mop functions really work is when you hold steady the handle and do not let the head tilt. The handle should be longer following the length of a regular mop, not the current size with this design. The steam mop function only works as a mop to cover about 18” at most at a time. The current handles makes people over 5'5' to bend to get the steam function to work on stubborn marks. I understand the instructions but honestly such a great tool should be considered for more than just cleaning immediate spills.

Dirty water is not sucked up

I got similar problems as one user posted. The dirty water suction worked when I used it for the first time. But since the second use, the dirty water tank was always empty and the mop head would be very dirty after use and the steam smelled just like dirt. So, the head was not self clean not all and left the floor not clean either and even make the room smell bad after dirty steam evaporated.

I want to love it but…

I want to love this steamer. It picks up debris effortlessly. Love that! However the problem is with the steam feature. I see plenty of steam but it leaves a lot of water on my floors which doesn't dry and there are streak marks all over the floor. I have to take a towel and go over the whole floor by hand to get it up and when I look at the towel it reveals that the steam did not even get the dirt up. The area that is suppose to collect the water is almost empty so it's not pulling the water off the floor. It has to go back which makes me sad. It's actually fun to use otherwise.

Cleans great

I've owned this device for awhile and love it. I do sweep first if im doing all the rooms so I don't create muddy floors. For spills, one stop cleanup. I have learned to pull out the brush and wet it first. This allows the dirty water to pass back to the collection wells rather than make dirty water on the brush to then be spread all over. If used right, it's a great addition to your cleaning arsenal!

Not great with any hair

Ive had my steam mop for about three weeks now and this thing is not the best with any type of hair you accidentally miss when vacuuming. It just pulls it around and will leave it on the floor. I have long hair and dogs. It's not the best cleaning tool for my lifestyle.

Great buy

I have used it twice, and it picks up the smallest stuff. I'm not sure about the roller cleaning yet. Going over it today with my normal steam mop to see if it missed any dirt. Clean up is a breeze, and the tray helps with drying when put away. Very !ight weight, it moves on its own, easy to use.

Impressive little machine

The whole main floor of our house is LVP flooring, and it hadn't had a good wall-to-wall cleaning since we moved in. My wife wanted me to buy a mop but I didn't think that would be the best method, so I borrowed my son's steam pickup to give that a try. WOW, the floors look like new again. I went out the next day and bought my own steam pickup. It's very easy to use and clean and I cleaned over 1400 square feet in about 2 hours.

Great on kitchen tile floor

I purchased this to clean the tile floor in my kitchen. There had been small stuck on bits i had to scrape with a razor blade after using swifter. This steam pickup seems to remove them. It heats almost immediately, runs very quiet, and is easy to clean. Even though i sweep prior to use it still collects an amazingvamount of smalk durt particles. The Instructions don't show the proper sequence of lights / power settings but you can figure it out. I also discovered its best to use a little dish soap when cleaning the roller. Didn't work as well on the wood floors, but I just really needed to do the kitchen floor that gets dirty in a hurry. Very pleased so far.

Awesome to use

Light, long cord, easy to clean up afterwards, uses water only, no chemicals, picks up dirt, has a lights on it, very easy to assemble. Easier to push on my tile floors than the pad type steamers.
