I had been buying this in bulk and compared my loaves previously bought with sku 984229401 to the new sku 984307619 and they are not the same. SKU ending 9401 was real sourdough per the ingredients the new sku 7619 is not sourdough it is made with yeast the taste is also off almost like a honey wheat.

I’d give zero stars if I could! Sam’s has changed the ingredients list in the sourdough bread. It is no longer actually sourdough. Now has no sourdough starter and tons of added, unnecessary ingredients that defeat the whole purpose of sourdough. The old, true sourdough recipe was the sole reason I would visit the store on almost a weekly basis. It really is a shame! Please change it back!

This sourdough bread was very excellent until recently. The bread is obviously now made differently (recipe, supplier, who knows) - the great sourdough tang is gone. Now it barely tastes like sourdough. This seemed to happen about the same time the bread became pre-sliced.

This bread lacked in flavor and was stale.

Great tasting bread all sliced and ready to use for sandwiches or toasting.

Very good bread when toasted. Not a fan if not run thru the toaster.
