Used to be an every once in a while luxury splurge, but the sliced sourdough loaf has moved up to necessity level! Crust is crispy. Inside perfect firm but tender - great texture! Flavor has mildly fermented tang - not overpowering. Great background for toast or sandwiches. I buy a loaf & put it in freezer. Each time I need a slice, I take out one slice and put in toaster, at the 6 setting. When the toaster pops my sourdough slice is almost like fresh baked. I then slice that in half and it's perfect with my breakfast eggs & spinach omelette. It's just my husband & me at home so we don't go through bread as fast as we did when our kids were younger. Keeping the loaf in the freezer preserves the freshness and flavor.

If you had asked me before would have rated 5. Loved your sour dough bread but the last loaf I bought was totally different tasted like Italian bread. Have been trying to find out if this was a mistake or if you changed the recipe? Can’t get anyone to tell me.

Not as good as the unsliced. The flavor is fine, but the bread is flatter (smaller slices) not sure if thisi s so it ca be machine sliced. The picture does not show this.

It used to be made with simpler ingredients and it was amazing, recently they’ve added some artificial ingredients along with rye flour as opposed to normal unbleached flour. Taste different now, and not in a good way.

They changed the formula! Now it tastes more like plain white bread. So disappointing. It's also smaller - shrinkflation at work.

I buy all the time members mark sourdough bread. These time i've purchased, it does not taste like sourdough at all. They have change the how they make sourdough bread. It does not last long and they made smaller quantity. They need to bring back original recipe back.

The flavor is fine, but it IS NOT REAL SOURDOUGH BREAD!!! So if you are seeking the health benefits of REAL SOURDOUGH BREAD, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS BREAD~!

This sourdough was really good up until a month or so ago. I used to buy 2 or 3 at a time and put the extra ones in the freezer. But something changed!! The first indication was that the price dropped. Second indication is the bread was more well done looking and the shape was a bit different. I bought it anyway. BUT then came the taste. Might as well eat white bread. Husband agrees—No sourdough taste at all. I stopped buying it.

The texture and taste have change from the unsliced original sourdough. I would rather slice it myself

I have been very happy with this product for years but the last loaf I bought was not the same product. It’s not sourdough. Not a bad product but definitely NOT sourdough.
