I have a small laundry room and now there is room for our laundry basket and some other stuff. It is very heavy, so make sure you don't need to move it. It took a few weeks to get the settings down, but now the clothes are coming out perfect. The filter is a little bit of a hassle, but I had to clean the standalone unit, so no big deal. Maybe an option to just stick a tube in the laundry detergent. Overall, I would never go back, if anything, if I had more space, I would have bought two of them. If I was building my house, I would make sure this would go in most of the closets, no more hauling clothes anywhere!

We heard rumors that the wash would come out damp but this is not the case for us. Every load came out completely dry and warm just like a traditional dryer. We especially like the minimal energy consumption, no 220V required only 110V. Very pleased with the saved space and effeciency of this washer/dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is INCREDIBLE. Very efficient, ties in well to the SmartThings ecosystem, and is very good at giving a great clean. I was hesitant because I had seen issues with heat pump dryers leaving clothes damp, but there are no issues with this one! My clothes come out fresh each time! The 120v plug is a game changer, as is the no venting requirement. It is perfect for a retrofit from gas to electric without needing to run a 240v circuit. If I had to pick out any negatives for the product I would say the time it takes to do a load on AI efficiency mode might be an issue if there were a bunch of kids in our family, but I don't think that should be a showstopper for anyone. The only other complaint is the lint that likes to collect in the rubber seal on the door. A little bit of a pain to clean, but my suggestion to fix that is use a sock that is turned inside out to wipe it down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just installed and done a couple of loads. First impressions: 1. It is amazingly quiet 2. It seems to be amazingly configurable 3. It dries completely on Normal dry 4. It washes very well It is a heavy machine, I would know where you want the guys to set it before delivery. The plus is that it has not budged from the spot they set it in, and when it spins, even though it is on high speed, it is still barely noticeable. We started the first load and left, and when we came home it was completely dry and the door was automatically opened for us. We usually use dry detergent, and it came with an 'aqua pebble' that you put the detergent into and seems to work perfectly in putting that detergent into the clothes. On our second load we got to witness the drying, and I was surprised it tumbled so slowly, but the clothes came out perfect and dry, so apparently the AI knows what it is doing. We also played with sending orders to the washer through our phone and the smart things app, and then just pressing start on the machine, and it worked great for that as well. I did run a software upgrade as it was out of date and that updated the software in quick time. Overall we are quite pleased with the washer/dryer combo and look forward to all of the energy savings from it: 1. Front load, so less water than our previous top load 2. Heat pump dryer uses noticeable less energy when drying 3. No heated or cooled household air being blasted out the roof through the vent

It is much easier to remove items from it than from our previous top loading machine and I love that I don't have to transfer each load to a dryer. The Samsung combo looks great, is very quiet, and a space saver. The touch screen is easy to use and has an option for washing any type of clothing/linens and soil level. The SmartThings app worked perfectly when selecting wash and dry cycles- nice for getting notified when a load is finished. Clothing and even a full load of towels came out soft and completely dry. There is front, convenient access to the lint filter. It is a little difficult to open the filter after removal but once opened, it is easy to clean. I am hoping that Samsung will have a stand available for it sometime soon. It is a fantastic machine.

It so easy to set and forget and come back to clean and dry clothes. I can run it while at work or out of the house elsewhere without worrying about the vent since it is ventless. I don't have to worry about forgetting to change it from washer to dryer and/or have to rewash when I do forget and get that mildew smell. It's fantastic so far.
