We have been able to save space in our small living quarters, by getting rid of our previous washer and dryer. The quick wash and dry settings are very helpful when you have toddlers who are potty training and make many messes throughout the day and to quickly wash and dry nap mats for school the next day. We are still learning the ins and outs and learning new features/settings daily on the beautiful touch screen display. Being able to wash and dry in the same unit is a game changer and has helped us manage our laundry with ease. The Smart Things app is great to receive notifications or check the status of the unit. The flex auto detergent dispenser saves time not having to fill for each washing cycle. The interior looks nice, I wish it were a bit larger as we are constantly washing bedding which takes up a ton of space. Overall, 5 stars to Samsung!!

The space it saves by just being one unit and not needing a dryer vent really helped make my laundry closet feel bigger. The touchscreen is large and easy to use and read. This unit has a lot more settings than most would use or need, and I like that it gives you the option to simplify those choices in the app making only the cycles you need show. My favorite cycle currently is the Ai OptiWash and dry. I love that it will sense the loads weight and how dirty it is through a sensor. I used the bubble soak option on the load and felt it really helped loosen up some stubborn stains I would otherwise have to pretreat. The flex dispenser and main detergent dispenser are great. Easy to clean and fill and I love that it will dispense automatically from them if selected to do so. I really thought I would have been able to put my wife's detergent in one and mine in another. I tried and it would not let me use the flex dispenser without the main one on and if I chose to make the flex "special detergent", it only let me use it on certain special cycles like delicate. This is an impressive feature if you have need for a special detergent to use for those cycles. Upon unboxing there was an update so maybe this functionality could be added to a future update. Otherwise, it works very well, and my clothes always come out clean and dry. The dryer really impressed me. I wasn't sure how well it would dry or how warm it would be as I have never had a unit like this before. Every load I have done it has dried my clothes nice and warm to the touch. When using the Ai OptiWash and dry mode total time is around 3.5 hours. I found it to be pretty accurate. The superspeed cycle had it done in about 1.5 hours total time. I love that this unit has made laundry day a thing of the past. I just load up the washer with dirty clothes, select my mode/settings, and hit start before leaving for work. With the connected app I can monitor the status of the load and it alerts me if it detects a problem. It did just that when I tried to wash a comforter that was too big for it. It was a down comforter, and it didn’t want to drain and offset the spin cycle. The washer stopped and alerted me to the condition to protect itself. This unit is great, and I love the features, versatility, and performance it provides on a daily basis makes me incredibly happy. Simply Awesome!

It's quiet, obviously reduces space needed in the laundry which was a huge factor in me purchasing this unit. Having 2 front loaders in my laundry room was so overwhelming looking this single unit has brought about so many new design options for additional folding space etc in the room. The AI feature is probably my favorite. Items go straight from washer to dryer mode and I don't have to do anything. The biggest issue with AI is the fact you have to separate out the different fabrics. It auto opens the door so if you need to get clothes out before the dryer runs it allows you to do that and not allow damp clothes to sit there and smell. The app alerts are great so you don't even have to be in the house to know that the unit is done! I only gave it 4 stars and if I could do a 4.5 I would have! The time dry is a struggle. I have to run it on more dry twice in order for my clothes to be dry to my liking. I'm going to keep using it and seeing if it gets better as I play around with the settings.

Despite her skepticism, I convinced the wife to give it a go by showing her how much more efficient and energy saving this combo washer/dryer was than our old separate washer and dryer set. In many areas including ours, it even qualified for a rebate. Besides that, it would save a lot of space in our laundry room. After having it for a few months, I can really say it has changed how we do laundry. My wife's concerns have been alleviated, as this combo actually gets the clothes warm and toasty dry. My wife heard that these combo wash/dry units leave the clothes damp. Not so with this unit.......our clothes come out actually dry! While you will not be able to do high volume binge washing and drying with a combo, it is absolutely WONDERFUL to put your clothes in whenever and come back to a clean, fresh, and dry load of laundry. No worrying that you will forget to transfer to dryer because you went to sleep, left for work, whatever....... and then have to rewash the whole load because the clothes smell because you left them wet. It has really changed how we do laundry.
