[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never had clothes smell this clean before. It’s got me thinking, did my old washer even clean my clothes? This machine is compatible with a regular outlet. You don’t need a 220 voltage outlet to plug it in. As long as you have a water hookup and a plug, you're ready to do laundry. The delivery people turned on the washer/dryer combo to be sure it worked. Well, I didn’t see what button they pushed to turn it on, so when I went to turn it on again I couldn’t find the on button. So I loaded the washer when they left and went to turn it on. The screen was blank. I looked on the owner’s manual; I called the hotline, I even chatted with the ai bot. Finally, the light hit it just the right way and I saw a little on/off button. I hit it and nothing happened for first two times, I hit a third time and this time it turned on. I felt like the sun came out after a month of rainy days. What I think is amazing about this machine is you can load up a lot of detergent and fabric softener into the bottom of the machine. It has 2 containers, one for each. The washer/dryer combo knows how much to take from each on each load of wash you do. So you load it up for the month and that’s it. You don’t touch it until the next month when you load it again. What a time saver. Another amazing feature on this machine is Wi-Fi connectivity. I can see where the load is at on my phone. I don’t have to keep running down the stairs into the basement to see where the load is during its cycle. Another amazing feature is you can actually turn on features like extra rinse, how much fabric softener to use, and how many spin cycles to use right from your phone. I absolutely love this machine. It is definitely a set it and forget it machine. You put the clothes in and come back in three hours and not only is it washed, but it is dry as well. This is a ventless dryer, making it safer than other dryers. Has a door on the side. You push to open the door, then pull out the lint box. Empty the lint and put it back in then Voila, turn on the machine again. My clothes smell so good after being ran through this washer/dryer combo. This machine has changed the way we do laundry in our house. I love this machine. I highly recommend this machine.

It dries perfectly. The lint filters are great too, preventing me from having to clean the drain filter every weekend like I used to have to do on the other brand I had. It’s stylish, nice looking, and it works perfectly every time. I almost gave up on the all in one combo units, but Samsung has done it right, and I am very happy with this one. This washing machine is truly magical, from the smart screen that can integrate with ring and other smart devices to the all in one washing/Drying functionality. it has loads of space and great features. First of all the fit and finish is great all around, it is stainless steel but I was really surprised is how Fingerprint Resistant it is. The Washing Machine looks clean even after a week and half of use. The installation was breeze, we just need to make sure that the water line is compatible with Washing Machine, mine was a standard water line and it perfectly well. Other than that it was just plugging into the outlet and we were all set! I love the connectivity of this, the smart thing app was a breeze to set up with a walkthrough of each setup of the process. The App has all of the features as at the standard control panel but it is a lot better because you have more space to read and toggle all our options. It show real time updates like how much laundry is remaining. Once it is done, it does give you a notification alert. Coming to the washing machine itself it is quite good, it has all the great AI features, which it initially tests with a small load of water and adjusts accordingly for the wash cycle. My washing machine is about five years old and over that I see a notable difference in the washing quality. Whenever I use soft fabrics, my old machine would wash it too much giving kind of faded color, the samsung machine is great as it able to recognize it and adjust accordingly. It made my life so much easier as I don’t have to change the setting every time, I could just select Normal wash and the washing machine would handle the rest. Although, I didn’t test it enough, I feel like the washing machine has been using significantly less water. My only pet-peeve is I wish they the drying time is little less than it is. But given that this is ventless machine, I am still mesmerized at its capabilities and functionalities. If you are looking for all-in one smart washing machine, then this is it, period!

We picked the all-in-one to save space and to avoid re-doing gas connections. It is super convenient. On top of that, I love that I don't need to worry about forgetting to transfer clothes from washer to dryer. I get an app notification once everything is washed and dry. If you want to take a few pieces of clothing out of it before drying, you also get an app notification. Super convenient. I also love the soap and softener auto-dispenser, I was definitely over using those, now the machine takes only what is needed based on the load.

Also it uses a regular electric socket which is highly efficient. The machine senses the amount of clothing and decides on time of wash and drying and no worries it's all ready in about 2 hours plus. The detergent and softener can also be filled up on the bottom and you don't have to add any for a while. The dryer can be used separately as well and has many options as wrinkle free drying or presoak for stains. So many options. I did purchase a 5 year extended warranty just to be carefull as it's a heavy machine and hopefully with samsungs great reputation it will operate for many years.

You get one of the best laundry machines on the market! After the combo unit was delivered and installed, I went through setup and tutorial right on the unit's screen. That's right, no buttons or knobs here! The unit features a large 7 inch touchscreen LCD where all controls and settings are located. Linking the washer to your Samsung account is super easy through a QR code. Starting a wash is really easy, you simply pick one of the many, many cycles available. My first load was an official Tide POD mode. The load washed in about an hour and the dry cycle started almost immediately afterward. The entire medium sized load took 2 hours and 23 minutes. The fastest advertised load is 98 minutes, washed and dried. The large screen shows you all information during the wash and dry cycles. It shows, estimated time left as well as a tracking bar to let you know what cycle it's currently doing. Unlike my old dryer, the load was dry the first time! The sensor works very well as it did have to add an extra 20 minutes dry time, thanks to a large sheet I had added to the load. I was really impressed, the clothes smelled great and they were perfectly dried! Upon completion, the unit plays a tune and opens the door by itself, which is a great feature to vent out the interior and le the clothes cool off. All setting on the washer are also available through the Smart Things app. As mentioned before, linking is super easy thanks to the QR code. The app shows all information about the unit and cycle progress. The app also conveniently sends a notification when the clothes are done. One of my favorite things is the sheer amount of pre-set cycles available, including an AI powered mode that is supposed to save time and money. There is a section that shows your water and electricity usage, and how much you could have saved with the AI mode. Ai also learns your washing and drying habits and will display your favorite cycles on the main screen. Updates happen over Wi-Fi and after initial setup, there was already an update waiting, which refreshed the screen and some icons. Overall, I am in love with this washer and dryer combo unit! The unit has such a large capacity and I can throw in a big load and not have to worry about it until it's done. Combined with all the pre-sets, I highly recommend!

The design of this washing machine is incompatible with using a drain pan. If you want to use a drain pan or, in my case, required by the plumbing code to have a drain pan under the washing machine, the detergent drawer will be physically blocked from fully opening. You will not be able to put detergent or softener into the washing machine. I was not aware that a drain pan was required until the installers came and would not install it until I had a drain pan in place. Getting a larger drain pan is out of the question. The largest one I found was 31” x 36”, which would allow the machine to sit in it, but not allow the detergent drawer to open. Also, couldn't find a drain pan of that size that would have a lower profile. I understand that there is a pedestal that can be purchased to raise the machine, which also doubles as a drawer for supplies. With a drain pan, it would just be an expensive stand since the drain pan would keep the drawer from opening. I’m at a loss for how to proceed at this point. I may have to jerry-rig something or figure out a way of lifting the entire washing machine every time I need to fill the detergent or softener bin. Can't comment on any of the other features of the machine as I'll need to figure this issue out before I can use it.

I do miss washing a load while the other one dries sometimes but this machine holds big loads so even if it seems like it takes longer it does everything.
