Super convenient and effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this during memorial day sale and have not been disappointed. We needed a ventless system because our current dryer vent would constantly get wet and was going to cost a small fortune to move the vent. This combo doesn't need vented, is used with a standard 110V outlet which saves money and because it's an all in one you don't even have to move from the washer to the dryer! We're a family of 5 and live on a small farm so we do 1 to 2 loads a day and we cloth diaper our infant. This thing handles it all just fine and a single load from start to finish averages 2.5 hours which is excellent. We have all Samsung appliances and they all link together from the app which is convenient too. This was our best appliance purchase.
Flex dispensers not so flexible
I wanted to use the flex dispenser to have regular detergent and then a sensitive skin detergent, but you can only use the second dispenser on three very specific cycles instead of any cycles. This doesn't make any sense, let me use the detergent on whatever cycle I want. It's okay otherwise. Incredibly heavy and nearly impossible to move, it didn't fit in my old washer area so I had to turn it sideways so the doors could close as it blocks the other closet door, so it's now really awkward. Custom cycles aren't actually custom either. I cloth diaper (which is why I wanted the specialty detergent to use in the heavy duty cycle) and this has no cloth diaper wash setting (unlike the older maytag we had) and the "custom" cycles are just pre-picked things you can't really adjust much besides regular settings you can change on any of the normal cycles. I really wanted to like this washer combo unit, but it's just so frustrating and limiting compared to what it touts.
Hi Dianne, We know how crucial it is to have reliable appliances at home. Let us help you with your laundry combo. To automatically dispense detergent on the "Flex Auto Dispenser," the "Detergent Type" should be set to "Specialty Detergent.". To modify the default cycle, please follow the steps on page 43 of the manual link below. To know which setting can be modified, please refer to the "Cycle chart" on pages 47-51. Pretty cool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the unit for a couple of months. I am still getting used to it. I used to have a huge washer and dryer so I would do laundry about 3 x a week and save because I am doing fewer loads. This takes smaller loads (or else the time needed really goes up). I do need to figure out how to be able to stop in between the cycles so I can remove microfibers--just hasn't been such an issue that I have taken the time to look into it. And, the automatic detergent injection makes my clothes smell nice longer. I don't know how the engineers did it but the clothes are less wrinkled if I don't get to the right away--I love that.
Has changed laundry day forever
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not having to figure out what setting to use, or remember to change over to the dryer has been the best thing ever! There are a few downsides though. They changed the UI almost a week after getting it, and an update they did made it so that no matter what setting I pick (voice, sound, off) it always talks to me, which is really annoying. You also can't truly customise the cycles. I can't tell it to not ever use fabric softener on my underwear or towels, I have to turn it off every cycle that I don't want it. If it was actually smart it should be automatically off for towels, sportswear, and underwear, since everybody knows that it affects the materials ability to wick away moisture. Other than that I love the machine. It's quite, does the job right, and no more need for a dryer vent
Modern, elegant design with many functions
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect machine for small spaces. You can control it from your phone and You don't have to worry about adding detergent every load because it has a big tank that holds the softener and Detergent. Elegant, modern and smart. It leaves my clothes, smelling great.
Fits where others don't
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using my bespoke washer/dryer for the past couple of months. It has exceeded y expectations. We have a tight closet where previously we could only fit a mini washer dryer tower. Could never wash any big loads. Now, no problem. Love the app and the notifications. So far, it's been a great machine.
DON'T BUY IT
This combo is a frustrating mess and a complete waste of time, money and electricity. The minimum wash time is 5 hours on the quickest cycle, but then you have to add at least 40 more minutes of drying time because it takes at least 2 drying cycles to get your clothes dry. It takes 11 hours, not a typo, it takes 11 hours to wash and partially dry one small load of blankets (2 small throws). It takes 5 hours to do a quick wash and partially dry a small load and 7.5 hours to wash and partially dry on normal... I say partially dry because the dry cycle fails to dry in one cycle no matter how small the load is. This is a great concept, but it's hard to imagine worse execution of a great idea, Giving this product a 1 star is very generous

An amazing value, QUIET, Laundry aways perfect!
I loved it so much, I bought two! There's nothing like getting through your chores by wiping out the laundry in a matter of hours and because it washes and dries, you do not need to swap laundry out into the dryer. You simply visit the laundry room and it's done. The app tells you on your phone whats going on with the machine and when the cycle is complete, so there's no guesswork. They. are quiet and the display is crisp and easy to comprehend. It's also nice not to have to fill the detergent and softener so often as it self-doses and with accuracy, about 45 loads until you have to refill the containers.
Best washer dryer!!!
We purchased this a month ago and absolutely LOVE it! Our clothes have never been cleaner, and it makes doing laundry so so easy. I noticed some reviews saying it take 4 hours to do laundry (wash+dry)... it does not. Do not let that scare you off from purchasing this. The time it takes to do your laundry depends on the cycle you choose! So sure, some cycles may take that long, but those cycles are meant for certain items. Most of the time when I am doing washing+drying it takes around 1 hour and 30-45 minutes. Again, it depends on what cycle options you are choosing! I will say, I feel like the stress of laundry is now gone with this machine. I throw in my laundry, select my cycle, and walk away because it auto dispenses the detergent and softener. If you do not want to auto dispense, no worries. You can quickly turn these off in the cycle selection. I have utilized pods as well for detergent and it works wonderful. The one feature we love is the connection to all of our samsung devices (TV, phones, watch, etc.) because it notifies us when cycles are complete. There is never downtime between back to back cycles with this feature. I seriously feel like I have way less overhead with laundry now.. silly I know, but forgetting to switch laundry around adds time and sometime leads to running the cycle twice. Not with this machine! Lastly, I hang a lot of my clothes to dry. It is easy to turn off the drying cycle and just wash with the cycle of your choice. The door then pops open at the end, notifies me right away that everything is complete to then hang my clothes up and start my next cycle. I lied.. one more. It takes up less space being a combo which is another big plus. I told my husband that if space did not matter in the future, I want us to purchase another one of these because hello!!! Two washers, two dryers. Yes!!!
Terrible purchase!!
We bought this in May and already having issues. The clothes are still saturated even when you put dry cycle to, “ more dry.” You can only wash small loads! It takes 5 plus hours to wash one load, making it difficult to get many loads done in a day. It was a terrible purchase. I would return it if I could!! Not worth the money! Now I'm stuck with the bill and having to go to the laundry mat on my days off because of the lengthy time it takes to do one small load! You can forget washing towels or covers! Just completely dissatisfied and anyone that ask, I tell them the same thing, DON'T BUY!
