I have to agree with most of the reviews,in that the old product was better. I need to change 3-4 times a day with the new ones. Plus they do not stay in place. Maybe the odor control is better. But when the new ones leak it becomes very embarrassing

I am very disappointed with the new Depend Men Guards with Max Coverage. They are narrower and less absorbent. I have switched to another brand while waiting for Depend to realize their mistake. Please bring back the previous product: Depend Fresh Protection Guards for Men

Mens Depends Guards were modified and are not as good as original. I have used about half of 52 pkg. and had them leak 4 or 5 times. This did not happen with the original version. The new version is thinner and NOT leak proof. The original version was much better and I didn’t have this issue. I will go back to Assure pads that are not as good as Depends original but much better than the new Depends pads. You need to bring back the original Depends pads.

Whoever designed these has obviously never had to wear them. The old design wasn't perfect either, but theh were thicker and because they were thicker it allowed the male "anatomy" to sort of form a pocket that kept said anatomy situated in the center of the pad. The new ones are thin. Because they are thin, they allow for too much movement. There are times when I find that my manhood has moved to the 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock position and the business end may be completely missing the pad. Also, the adhesive is not as strong verses the old version. Maybe if the wings on the new ones had adhesive it would be better. The wings tend to get scrunched up towards the center of the pad. Also, if the new pads had some type of pocket formed into them in the center to keep things in place. If you listen to your customers and take the advice of people who have to live with your product everyday, you might be able to produce the best incontinence pad on the planet. So far you have gone backwards from mediocre design to a horrible design.

I've been using Guards for years. They had been working very well. I recently bought a new stock. The packaging looked different and the package was smaller for the same quantity. The pads are smaller and more prone to leaks. If I can't get the old style, I may need to change brands.

Apparently no one did any field testing of this complete failure. the new pad has a wide top, (which might work for those with a very small P P) and a very narrow lower ( which is where I dress) and no cupping in the lower portion. I have been caught by surprise 3 times with a pad that failed my field test. I have been using this product for 9 years with no problems and was not aware a change had happened. I purchased two bags of the 84 count and will return the unopened one to the point of purchase and trashing about 60 of these inferior pads.

I have been using Depend Guards for more than3 years. I had a prostatectomy. They have always been reliable. I was surprised when I could not find the old packaging. Once I opened the new packaging, I found out why. Some "engineer" decided they new best and completely changed the design and overall product. The new product is less absorbent, does not give the same coverage as the old design, and leaks excessively. I was down to one pad per day with the old design. Now I am using two to three pads per day. BRING BACK THE OLD DESIGN, OR AT LEAST MAKE IT AVAILABLE AND FIRE THE "ENGINEER" AND MANAGERS THAT CHANGED THE DESIGN! Your responses to other negative reviews are laughable and show that whomever is answering the comments really does not care what the consumers think. I would think that with the number of negative reviews, you would already be going back to the old design.

Number one I bought this product because I've been using it for years. I have lost cancer a younger age. Do not like the new pad plus when buying online still shows the original pad. I'm stuck with a whole double box because I didn't open it in time bought it again opened it. I am returning it. Do not like them. They leak they move. Don't hold me in place. So I am buying a different brand.

I have been purchasing the guards for my dad and he has been complaining that he doesn't like the new ones. I told him it's just new packaging but he's complained they are not absorbent like the old ones. I thought it was his imagination but now that I've read the other reviews, I guess he was right. Please bring back the previous model so my dad (and other men) feel confident again. This really impacts my dad's ability to go out and enjoy life.
