There are no effects on your skin, though I would recommend that you must have taken opinion from your doctor. the guards do not have any order until you remove it

My aging dad has been going through some medical treatments that have caused him to lose control of his bladder. These guards have stopped much of the mess, kept him looking and feeling more dry, and helped his dignity. They have become second-nature and relatively comfortable and certainly are not noticeable under his pants/shorts. Grateful for this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product seems to deliver what they advertise. The package is simple but informative which is great. It seems to be leakage free, however make sure you wear the right size. It's easy to wear and remove.

I've been using Guards for years. They had been working very well. I recently bought a new stock. The packaging looked different and the package was smaller for the same quantity. The pads are smaller and more prone to leaks. If I can't get the old style, I may need to change brands.

Whoever designed these has obviously never had to wear them. The old design wasn't perfect either, but theh were thicker and because they were thicker it allowed the male "anatomy" to sort of form a pocket that kept said anatomy situated in the center of the pad. The new ones are thin. Because they are thin, they allow for too much movement. There are times when I find that my manhood has moved to the 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock position and the business end may be completely missing the pad. Also, the adhesive is not as strong verses the old version. Maybe if the wings on the new ones had adhesive it would be better. The wings tend to get scrunched up towards the center of the pad. Also, if the new pads had some type of pocket formed into them in the center to keep things in place. If you listen to your customers and take the advice of people who have to live with your product everyday, you might be able to produce the best incontinence pad on the planet. So far you have gone backwards from mediocre design to a horrible design.

The new version does not have enough structure to stay cupped and causes significant leaks. Please bring back the previous version. You had the best and now you may have the worse product. How did a faulty design get released?

The new protection guards are terrible. I always used the old ones and they never leaked. The new ones leak all the time out the side. They leak into my underwear every time I wear them and cannot trust them. I bought 2 packs and returned one. the are lighter and do not hold as much as the old ones. I am driving to all the drug stores to see if they have any of the old packaging.
