[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the D men's guards for 19 years. I use about 5 or 6 per day depending on my activity. I recently purchased the newly designed pads that are supposed to be more absorbent and improved. I feel the wetness on my body in about an hour and completely wet in two hours starting to leak. These new pads require that I use about 10 pads per day and subject myself to more leakage. Will have to switch to generic products after all these years of using Depends

I have been using Depends Guard for over 20 years. Many times they were improved and each improvement made them better. However, this latest change has ruined a wonderful product. They leak on the sides regardless of how you position them. Please bring back the reliable older product.

this is not an improvement They don't fit as well and causes leakage. Very very disappointing to have relied on a product post surgery for over 10 years and then have it changed for the worse not the better is terrible

I hate the new design. I am buying generic knockoff pads instead. Depend had a great product and destroyed it. New Coke anyone? The “new and improved” guards should have been marketed as an entirely different product.

The product is inferior to previous version. I'll be looking for an alternative. They leak big time. Really disappointed. Not nearly as absorbent as previous version. Much thinner to.

They work very well with a good fit.

I have had a radical prostatectomy which has greatly reduced my bladder control, particularly in the afternoons and evenings. The previous version of Guards (sku 0 36000 13792 7 / 500000058701) had enough absorbency to get through the afternoon without fear of overflow, and the elastic border provided additional security. This “New & Improved” Guards version does not have the same absorption capacity, particularly towards the back, and I have suffered leakage repeatedly. The lack of raised edging allows any excess urine that has flowed to the back of the pad to overwhelm the absorptive capacity and flow off the edge of the pad, soaking both undergarments and pants. I certainly disagree with their 5/8 “Drip” rating. While I appreciate convenience of using a Guard style of product (as opposed to a “pull-up” style), my daily routine requires more absorption endurance than these new pads provide, so I am forced to look elsewhere.

I have been using Depends Men Guards for 33 years with total satisfaction. This new design and protection are a total failure. I am using 2 and 3 times more pads in addition experiencing greater leakage. Why did you try to fix what isn't broken?????

Very disappointed in the new Fresh Protection guards. They are no where near as absorbent as the previous product. Combined with the smaller size they just don't offer the same level of protection. Been using Depend Guards for years. Now have to look for alternatives.

The new design on the Depend Guards Incontinence Pads for Men, Maximum Absorbency, does not protect against leaks as well as the previous version. I like the thinner profile, but the pad leaks from the crotch area very quickly.
