My cat is older and this is one of the few foods she enjoys. Lately, the quality has been inconsistent, sometimes very watery and other times completely dry. I also threw a new can in the trash today because I didn't like the noise the cat made when I opened it. It made a swoosh. The other can I opened did not. The can I threw away smelled bad, like bad fish.

A retired veterinarian once told me that wet cat food, particularly beef/liver was a great 'go-to' for older, sensitive cats. I opened the can, spooned out a little in each bowl and the cats ate ravenously. The following day, they both had returned to their lovable, attentive states. I will continue to use this "medicine" in a can.

My cat, Missy absolutely loves her Ocean Whitefish and Tuna the best but she also loves EVERY other flavor that Friskies makes. I have tried to sneak in different cat food made by other brands because they were on sale and the names of the flavors were similar to the Friskies flavors. Well, as you can probably guess Missy would have none of that and was up to my trickery. Nothing, absolutely nothing gets past her and her cat food. So, lesson learned I don't feed her ANYTHING that isn't her Friskies! And her favorite dry cat food is: Friskies Ocean White Fish and Tuna flavor also! So if you want YOUR cat to be a very happy cat, Friskies should be the ONLY cat food that you feed your cat....and that advise comes straight from my cat, Missy!!

Our cats don't "love" pates but they like them and will they eat most of them. They prefer "fishy" flavors but we'll buy this one sometimes to give them some variety. They like this one pretty well but they won't lick the plates like some of the Friskies varieties. It's still a very good pate for our cats.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My rescue cat (Lucky) can only eat pate food because he has very few teeth due to a unpleasant past. He only eats seafood pate but the ocean whitefish/tuna is his all time favorite. If your cat likes fish, this is a winner!

I almost always buy the Pate'. Mostly the mixed grill but anything without seafood flavor...All of my 5 black rescue cats love it!!! Thanks so much for the great variety! They really love their friskies and so far it has kept them all from developing the kidney stones that have taken the lives of their uncle and other "family" members that my son and I saved! Moist food in cats diet is a necessity according to my vet (and after spending thousands on trying to save them I am following his advice!) highly recommend Friskies to every cat owner!

This is Winston's FAVORITE Friskies cat food, bar none! Why can I no longer find Friskies pate Whitefish and Tuna Dinner ANYWHERE I shop? You Friskies people seem to think cats like your soupy your novelty gravy laden shreds, flakes, stars and bars etc. recipes BETTER than the standard great Friskies products you have made forever. Not Winston!! He dislikes the soupiness of the new 'better?' items you are stocking instead of your traditional products. Winston still wants to eat Whitefish and Tuna Pate as often as I can find it for him - which is becoming harder and harder. He likes other Friskies varieties also but this one is his absolute favorite, and he likes pate 'style' food in any of his preferred flavors. Winston does not mind that you are trying to woo less discriminating cats with popping flavors, soupy textures, fancier labels, etc. He is open to having his company fool around with an already great product, even though it all seems to him like degrading a great form of staple food. Why have your sdet up a system where WINSTON's food is being crowded right off the shelves of our local grocery stores, pet shops, and mega-stores? Anyway, experiment all you like with novelties, but do keep true to your long term, very satisfied, feline customers. Keep the old faithful products AVAILABLE for your loyal cats's guardians, so that they can continue to purchase their favorites for them without interruptions. It really MATTERS! Bionica S

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 7 cats and they love Friskies wet and dry food. They also enjoy the treats. I buy 8 varieties but they enjoy the pate kind the best. I trust this brand and have been feeding it to my cats for over 10 yrs.

My Mommy buys me Ocean Whitefish and Tuna all the time. It's my very favorite! I get Mariners Catch, Sea Captains Choice, Salmon Dinner and Turkey and Giblets Dinner ... only Pate for me. My krunchies are Seafood Sensations! Every other can is Ocean Whitefish and Tuna however! I am a fish lovin' kitty ... Friskies is my food of choice and don't try to pawn off any old fish on me. I am a particular girl!
