[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always seemed to have issues with gnats and little flying bugs in my kitchen, no matter where I've lived or what I do, most likely because I have pets and a husband who likes to leave doors open! I've tried the little apple shaped traps and other things that don't really work at all. I have always wanted to try one of the UV light traps so I was very excited to try the STEM UV trap with fan. I gave this device 5 stars, but even so it may not be perfect for others and their usage of it. For my needs, it really does work to get rid of the little gnats/fruit flies that appear when it gets warmer here. It's not the best with larger insects and I can't imagine it working very well outdoors. With that aside, it's a wonderful device for what I need. As I said, I have pets, so using anything with chemicals is a no go, so it's extra nice that this is all natural - the bugs get attracted to the UV and sucked in by a gentle fan to a glue pad beneath. I've noticed when I placed it on my kitchen counter, within a day I noticed the few little gnats buzzing around we're gone and there were a few on the glue trap. The fan is very quiet as well, so if you hear it at all, it's pleasant white noise. I love that there are timers to set too in case you don't want it running 24/7. It doesn't cover a particularly large area unless it's completely dark in the room, so it is probably best to run it overnight. This is a great, natural way for anyone in warmer climates or areas with lots of little flying bugs to get rid of them or at least reduce their number.

It projects this purple color that illuminates the whole area of your home/kitchen! I can see how it attracts bugs to it! I want to stare at that pretty light all day! Haha! Its worked really well in our home! Definitely my favorite fan trap! :-)

I gave this 4 stars because I don't think it was 100% effective. We don't have many flies or bugs in our home but with it being spring we have seen a few flying around. I have been using this catcher in the house for the last 4 days and I only seen 3 flies on it. I think this would be ideal for a sunroom or garage setting where there is a higher volume of flies.

Its super easy to set up and easy to move around to certain areas in office if I need too . I definitely recommend this can be used anywhere! Also bonus safe around pets !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this product, works really well. Hate mosquitos and this is perfect to get rid of them. Easy to use change the sticky pads, and maintain. It is a little expensive l, but if you can afford it. get it. Wished I knew about this product before, easy portability, and to use. Looks durable. Been using for about 10 days, and so far itself great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a moderately bad fruit fly problem in our kitchen and dining room. We've tried lots of non-device solutions, such as vinegar and other home remedies, but none of them worked very well. But after putting the fan trap next to our sink, we noticed within a few hours that the fruit flies were attracted to it. It's been a week since we plugged it in and I am happy to report that we no longer have a fruit fly problem. And other than it's success rate, the fan is very quiet and the purple glow from the LED lights is soothing to look at. The design is sleek and modern enough that it looks good next to our other appliances, and would honestly look fine in just about any room. I'm very happy with this pest solution!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was really easy to put together and the adhesive just drop it in, being careful not to touch it because it is sticky. It's very quiet, we currently have it running continuously, but I do like the options of timers as well. I plan on putting it away when not needed since it larger than a plug in. I may start using it when we do outdoor activities.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave the Stem Flying Insects Fan Trap a try. Instructions for set up were clear and easy. I was curious as to how loud the fan might be but it was quiet. I appreciate the long cord as it makes it flexible to put in different areas and that it is free from insecticide. I tried this product in December, so not as many bugs as there would be in summer. I checked it after about 6 hours and caught a few small gnats and one stink bug. Win for me as I hate stink bugs! Can't wait to use it in the summer as our area always has an issue with fruit flies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried the STEM Flying Insects Fan Trap Starter Kit, and I couldn't be happier with the results! I love how easy it was to set up, and it instantly started catching those pesky flies that seem to invade my kitchen. The fan is quiet and doesn't disrupt the household, and the glue traps are mess-free and easy to replace. Overall, it's a fantastic, hassle-free solution for keeping my home bug-free and feeling fresh!
